Kids & Co Day Nursery

My children will miss this wonderful nursery and I wish Kids & Co all the success in the future!

Kids and Co have become a second home for our child and it's with a bit of sadness that we now have to move on to primary school. Frankly, everything was great during those years, from the caterpillar to the tractor and the rocket room. Every stage came with great care from the teams and team leaders, we felt the dedicated attention and also help for the parents was there. The odd incident was diligently taken care of, activities were varied and management was helpful and professional, also during the challenging times of covid. I put good only for space and for equipment simply because it is the only aspect I saw as limiting the staff and the nursery, but we felt all was adequately provided and well organized. All the staff were fantastic in caring for our child. Overall the staff is what makes the biggest difference for this outstanding nursery! Definitely recommended if you can get a place!

Our son attended Kids & Co for 2 years and flourished in this time. He loved it and always looked forward to his next day there. We always felt like he was in a very safe and loving environment. He developed tremendously and we were very sad when it was time to leave.

Our three-year-old daughter had a great time at the nursery. Very clean, organized and lovely environment. Lots of activities and a really great outdoor space. Our girl learned a lot and loved her time there.

We would have no hesitation recommending the nursery to others.

My two children have been to Kids and Co from 2 years, through to the start of school. We have been so pleased with the nursery and the staff there. They have loved and cared for our children, providing them with a stimulating and friendly environment for their early years of education. Many of the staff have been at the nursery for a number of years so there is a stable environment for the children to go to every day. We have recommended the nursery to many friends already, we sincerely hope they continue to be successful long into the future.

Both my kids attended Kids and Co Nursery in Blackheath. The overall standard is good and my kids have been very happy there. They were both well looked after by the staff with many opportunities to learn and grow. The only two areas I think that can be improved on are food and management. Meals could be more balanced and healthy. Management communication could be friendlier and more empathic to parents.

Kids & Co is an amazing nursery. All the staff are so warm and supportive, not only of our children but also of us as a family. We couldn’t have been happier with Kids & Co as a nursery and were very sorry when the day came for our children to leave. We would highly recommend the nursery to anyone.

My daughter started Kids & Co 6 years ago and my son has just finished after 3 wonderful years. They have had the most incredible start to their education and have thrived in the loving supportive environment that the nursery engenders.

The staff are extremely dedicated to the care and stimulation of the children. The building, classrooms and garden are beautifully maintained and also used in innovative ways to aid their learning. It really has been a home from home.

Both my children have left nursery confident, sociable and ready to start school. I wholeheartedly recommend Kids & Co as an outstanding nursery.

My daughter enjoyed going to the nursery and really improved in her social skills. Staff are very experienced and reliable. I never had any concerns. Nursery is very well organised and communications from the nursery are excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend Kids & Co to my family and friends.

My daughter has had an amazing one and a half years at Kids & Co. Learning through play, outdoor visits and the extracurricular activities i.e. football and Diddy dance. The activities arranged for the kids to be engaged on a daily basis were very innovative and good fun. I specifically like the Tapestry online journal to track your child's daily activities and progress based on Early years foundation stage. Also, the hot meals prepared at nursery making sure kids get all the relevant nutrients. We have had a great experience at Kids & Co and sad to leave.

Overall, we can’t recommend Kids & Co enough. It is a special place with a wonderful team and we will definitely be popping in to keep in touch!

Both my daughters attended the nursery. My eldest started at 12 months and finished at 4.5 years. For me, the nursery’s strengths were their staff and homely setting. Most staff have been in childcare and with the nursery for a long time. They are extremely kind, patient and attentive carers. The younger staff are just as wonderful, cheery and attentive. The outdoor space has been very thoughtfully designed. It facilitates a mud kitchen, forest school, jungle gym and enough space for rotating exercise classes such as football. My children spent some very happy and secure years at the nursery and I am very grateful!

Lovely nursery, my daughter was extremely happy here. I was always sure that she was happy, well looked after and doing engaging activities.

Our daughter has spent the last two years at this wonderful nursery. She started at just one year in the then fairly new baby room and has just moved on into nursery school. We highly recommend Kids & Co and as parents could not have wished for a better arrangement for our daughter. What makes this nursery so special is its wonderful staff and outdoor space. It’s a small and very personally-run place where everyone knows everyone. Staff turnover is very low, which speaks for itself in my view, and they all build special relationships with the kids. Parents are also well connected. The nursery benefits from a lovely outdoor garden which is very regularly used, including a forest school and mud kitchen. Another plus is the food which is prepared on-site every day. Kids & Co has set a very high bar for all of our daughter’s future education providers!

Our daughter attended Kids & Co, 7 years ago, and loved it - so we were very pleased when we got our son a place too. We've just moved out of the area, and moving away from Kids and Co may well be one of our greatest regrets about leaving. The staff go out of their way to treat each child individually, helping them to learn and progress their skills at just the right pace for each child. Our kids built relationships with several members of staff and I think it speaks volumes that when my daughter was dropping off my son with me, years after she left, there were still members of staff who remembered her. I can't recommend Kids & Co highly enough.

Kids & Co is a fantastic nursery where our daughter thrived. The staff are very professional and caring. It is clean and the children are very well looked after. There is a lovely outdoor space which they use regularly. My daughter is very sad to leave and loved going there. If I had another child I would certainly send them to Kids and Co!

- The family feel of the nursery is something that it is rare to find. everyone is friendly and welcoming. They also organise events for parents so we get to know each other.

We have seen our children develop into confident, happy little girls under the care and guidance of the staff at Kids & Co which is exemplary in every respect.

Kids & Co offers structured EYFS-focused learning, monitored through good quality regular reporting and ad hoc observations via the Tapestry online journal. There is a strong emphasis on having fun.

The excellent staff are experienced, knowledgeable, sensitive to issues at home, caring and fun.

Facilities are great and staff make use of the local environment for trips out, including to Greenwich Park. Forest school, dance sessions, and football training are firm favourites.

The involvement of parents is encouraged strongly, including through Tapestry observations (which provide focus for discussion and activity) and dedicated mum/dad mornings (enabling working parents to experience the monkeys in their natural habitat).

Our children always look forward to going to Kids & Co, which is without doubt an excellent nursery.
