The nursery offers free learning education for 15/30 hours for working families and non.

The nursery follows the EYFS curriculum to support each child to meet their development goals. In the nursery the team foster the Italian Language and culture, however they welcome all culture and nationalities. During children activities the spoken languages include English and Italian.

We couldn't be happier with our experience at Italian Day Nursery]! From the very first day with my now 14year old to my now 4 year old, the staff have been absolutely wonderful - kind, caring, and incredibly supportive. They've made my child feel safe, happy, and excited to come in each day, which
means the world to us as parents.


The team is so attentive to every child's individual needs and development. It's clear how much thought and care goes into everything they do, from the fun daily activities to the way they communicate with families. My child has grown in confidence, made great friends, and learned so much during their time here.


We're truly grateful for the nurturing environment they've created. The staff go above and beyond, and their dedication shines through every single day. I can't recommend this nursery highly enough!

The best nursery I have ever chosen for my child! She attended another one and I did not feel comfortable leaving her there. The Italian Day Nursery it was like a second home for my child and for me as well. The staff and manager are very professional, friendly, caring and look after children with love,
dignity and respect. I would definitely recommend this nursery to every mother and if I ever have another child I will not doubt for one second to send my kid to this nursery! A massive thank you for everything you have done!

The Italian Day Nursery and its staff have been outstanding in their care of my child. The setting cares for each child with an adaptive approach that supports their individual development and learning. It has been amazing for my child to be able to speak Italian and English with a caring, friendly,
diverse and dedicated staff and fellow children. It has been great for my child to be in an Italian multicultural setting. The setting is both authentically Italian and British upholding the values and cultures of both countries. The food is fantastic and we have felt secure in knowing our daughter is eating fantastically freshly made nutritious food. The nursery goes above and beyond to support children and families. The activities are creative and educational and many customs and festivals are celebrated. The children learn so much from the developed and enriched curriculum. Grazie per tutto.

A nursery that is full of love and happiness for my daughter. The caregivers and manager have been giving both of us confidence and trust to get through our separation anxiety. They are all super friendly and always welcoming with love every morning, weekly reporting what she's been doing with an app
and images gave me peace of mind. My daughter's confidence really grew while attending the nursery which was great. Highly recommend.

All teachers are very kind, caring and carry on their work to a high standard. The management feels familiar but is also very professional. The children seem well settled, happy to go and relaxed. We never experienced any accidents or tense situations with other children. This might be because of children's
disposition, but it also depends on the good teacher's ability to handle children’s behaviour. My child attends also to reinforce the Italian language and I saw he grew in confidence and vocabulary in using the language!
Feedback from teachers is frequent and communication easy.
I would highly recommend.

This is a great place for your kids. Staff members are very friendly, professional and supportive, and the manager is a really nice person who strives to understand both child and parent's needs. They also have a wonderful in-house chef who makes delicious food my daughter can enjoy every day. This
is not just a usual nursery, it feels like an extension of the family to both my daughter and us parents. Could not ask for a better place for our daughter.

My daughter loves coming here and has formed a really strong bond with the members of staff here so I can feel rest assured she is being well taken care of. The nursery provides a nurturing environment with outdoor space and indoor activities. We are grateful there was an Italian language nursery in
a reachable distance as this has really helped our daughter’s language skills improve with daily interactions outside of the home. She eats well and enjoys the meals provided, which are usually balanced with lots of vegetables. I think this nursery represents great value for money and highly recommend the staff for their warmth and genuine affection they have for all the children here, it’s very family-orientated. (my daughter treats her caregiver like another member of the family).

Both our kids love(d) it there. Genuinely bilingual, has great food, really nice parents, and kind teachers and is brilliantly run. No gimmicks, just a sweet old-fashioned nursery. Lots of Catholic festivals are celebrated along with others that are important to the kids who are there at the time.

Both my daughters attended The Italian Day Nursery from the age of 2 to 4 and we are so grateful to the whole team for creating the safe, loving and stimulating environment in which they were cared for. We had tried two other nurseries before my eldest daughter was able to attend and we noticed a really
positive difference in the way the nursery was run. There is a wonderful structure to the nursery which is delivered in a fun, creative and educational way. The food is prepared by someone who is a really fantastic cook and who is (unsurprisingly) very popular with the children. The fantastic staff retention shows how well the manager looks after her staff and how they feel about the nursery and children. Both my daughters were incredibly happy at the nursery and still beg to go back and visit.

My son attended this nursery, as I also did myself and the quality of care is as good now in 2022 as it was in the nineties! The staff are excellent and I felt my son was loved and cared for as well as educated. I recommend this nursery setting to all parents very highly. My son loved it here.

My son has spent a very happy eighteen months at The Italian Day Nursery. His teachers have been very committed to his development and care. They have nurtured his interests and encouraged his independence with self-care. The development in his social skills and interest in playing with other children
has been wonderful to observe. The teachers are always thinking of new ways to approach themes or projects with the children. Communication with the nursery is straightforward and that has been very reassuring during these tricky Covid times. It is very well-run and it is always possible to book a time to speak to a teacher or head teacher. My son also really likes the home-cooked lunches!

A very nice and intimate environment for the children, a good number/quality of teachers and a variety of activities, both inside and outside. Excellent food and surely valuable in terms of ratio quality/money. A rather good experience!

I wish I’d found out about this nursery earlier as my daughter has loved the 6 months that she’s attended here. The staff are caring and very attentive. There’s lots of variety of activities inside and outside, including arts and crafts; singing and dancing; dress up; gardening - all of which my daughter
loves and I look forward to her bringing home some new artistic creation that she’s made. All of this as well as early exposure to the Italian language make this a very good nursery.

I couldn’t have asked for a better nursery for my son. The staff are amazing, you truly feel how much they care about your child. They make the nursery a perfect second home/family for the children. My son is non-verbal but I know how much he enjoys being at nursery, he is always so happy and excited
to go nursery and when picking him up, he always has the biggest smile. The director is a wonderful person and I am truly grateful for all her hard work and good heart. I couldn’t be happier for everything they do for my son. As a parent, you want to feel your child is safe, happy and loved when he/she is at a nursery and no doubt you feel all of that at 100%! A small, friendly place where all of the fantastic staff know each child. Has been running under the same management for many, many years. Low staff turnover. My child absolutely loves this nursery. They spend a lot of time outdoors and there is lots of music and singing. Full-day hours are 8.30-5.30.
August is generally taken off as holiday, along with another week or so at Easter or Christmas.

Brilliant nursery. Brilliant staff. My second child is now coming to The Italian Day Nursery. My first child attended nursery in 2016 and was there till he started reception. I can't thank the Director and the staff of the Italian Day Nursery enough for always making us feel at home.
