The nursery opened in April 2004. I initially qualified as a Software Engineer and worked in IT for many years. After having my son, I decided to open a nursery that better represented my philosophy and ethos of looking after children. It took five years to open the nursery and although my son missed out on attending the nursery, my other two children attended. I am married and have 3 (now grown-up children of my own). I retrained in childcare and now have many childcare qualifications including an EYTS (Early Years Teacher Status).

I have a passion for children and believe every child should be given the opportunity to reach their full potential.

My goal is to provide the highest quality of care and staff and also to create a safe, happy and stimulating environment for your child to make the best progress they can.

I believe that every child should be given all they need to enable them to reach their own individual potential.

Our aim is to provide you the peace of mind and reassurance that your child will be lovingly cared for.

I have an amazing staff who work tirelessly to deliver excellent service to all our children and also to you the parents/carers.

BSc (Hons); EYTS (Early Years Teacher Status); Cache Level 3 SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator), Mental Health First Aider; Diploma (Level 3) in Speech Language and Communication. Safeguarding Level 3; Designated Safeguarding Officer; Advanced Autism Practice; Level 3 Food Safety, Makaton Level 2 and many more.

I have worked in Early Years for over 10 years and hold a Level 3 Childcare in Early Years qualification, Montessori Qualification along with a BA Honours Degree in Communication Sciences/ Film Making.

After working on a film project with children and entering in their world, I decided to change my career. I started with Montessori training which opened the wide world and then did a level 3 Diploma in Childcare and a Diploma in Speech and Language. I also have a level 3 SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator).

I was welcomed into the FMN family in 2008 and all the years working at the nursery have given me the opportunity to continue my learning journey.

I believe in supporting each child in their individual learning journey and I am passionate about supporting those with special educational needs by providing a warm, stimulating and welcoming environment in which children and staff can engage and explore. I like to make the day as fun as possible and also to support the children’s communication with the use of props and Makaton.

I hold a Level 3 in Childcare in Early Years and have three beautiful kids of my own who have now grown up.

I just love being with children as they bring joy to my day.

I am a loving and caring person who is passionate and dedicated in all I do. The nursery is a big family and the children have brought me much joy and given me a lot of enthusiasm. Meeting parents & sharing their child’s joyful moments with them is so gratifying, and ever since working at the nursery, I have made amazing memories that I will cherish.
