LEYF - Colville Nursery & Pre-School

We had our daughter in Colville Nursery & Pre-School for nearly two years and we absolutely loved it. The staff were so friendly, they kept our daughter happy, healthy and bright. She would run in in the morning hugging all the staff, the space was buzzing and there was never a dull moment. We only moved her because of a new nursery opening one street away that was too convenient to ignore. We highly recommend the manager and the rest of the Colville team to give your child a wonderful start in life.

I think this is the best nursery I have ever experienced. It ticks all the boxes and the children seem so happy. The teachers are amazing and it’s a perfect balance of learning but also just being able to be a child and play lots, be outside a bit and interact with your class mates, couldn’t recommend enough.

In the morning you would receive a message from the management that you must bring sunhats for your kids, and in the afternoon you would pick up your child who's sitting in the scorching summer sun without any cover. The area for the buggies looks like a dump, with things broken and dirt. The team probably meant well but they're just not capable enough to manage this place.

Additionally, as staff changes are inevitably made, all new members have shown the same wonderful standards we have come to expect from this amazing nursery. We will surely miss you all when our little one moves on to reception!

This is an outstanding nursery and pre-school. The staff is extremely nice and professional, children are well looked after and take part in many activities. There is a good atmosphere and we parents get together at weekends (Colville Crew). The playground is excellent and kids have a good amount of outdoor play. Before Covid, they would organise trips to Holland Park and would visit the elderly patients at the local Hospice. Opening times are very convenient for working parents too.

Parents are also engaged with home activities, get-togethers and the app.

The management is superb - they keep you informed through daily feedback at pickup, daily updates on their app, weekly newsletters and they organize special events such as Christmas Parties. You can tell they really care and create a wonderful family kind of atmosphere.

Our daughter is thriving at the nursery; she is always happy, and is growing and learning tremendously. The staff really care for her and we are really happy that we chose this Colville Square Nursery.

Our son has been attending Colville Nursery full time for about 10 months now. We are so pleased with his development since starting at the nursery and it is clear to see how much he enjoys being there. The teachers and management are all so wonderful, genuine, and it is very obvious that they care deeply for the children. They are as excited to help the children reach their developmental milestones as any parent would be (example: cheering for first steps, big hugs, etc). The teachers plan daily activities which are age-specific, fun, educational, and engaging for the children. The teachers are very attentive to the children and can easily share details about what our son was interested in or a fun moment from the day. Our son eats very well and is offered a wide variety and types of foods, thanks to the in house chef. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a warm, safe, and loving environment for your child.

We selected Colville Nursery as we felt comfortable putting our daughter there at the age of 3.5-months. Everyone one took great care of her, with special attention to her needs as a little baby, and helping her grow up with many different activities, including her to adapt to activities with older babies. We know she feels good as we see all the activities she is doing, the smile on her face in every picture. Great cook as well, so we know she is growing up in a healthy environment overall. She is now 13-months old, and we are looking forward to seeing all the progress she is doing with the Colville team!

Very happy with the nursery for our nearly two year old daughter. Staff members in the baby room are fabulous - confident, entertaining and caring. She's engaged in so many activities both indoors and outdoors and develops motor, social and all kinds of skills so quickly. We get updated regularly on how our daughter is doing to put our minds at ease or point out areas of focus. Our daughter goes to the nursery in all smiles.

My son has been at Colville for over a year, and has loved it since he started. The staff are brilliant and form great relationships with the children. They have great outside space and seem to think up great activities for the children, utilising what’s available in the local area as well as in the nursery itself. Overall very happy with them.

Our son has been with the nursery since he was 6 months, now he's almost 15 months, and we couldn't be happier. He loves the staff, the day to day activities and clearly learns a lot. It is an outstanding nursery and the staff are excellent. They are great with all the children. This is very obvious and they have clear plans of daily activities in line with the children's abilities and progressive development. Very happy.

My daughter has now been coming for 2 months and her time here has been brilliant. The staff are always welcoming and friendly and know my daughter well and she them. She has come on leaps and bounds since being at Colville, I couldn't be happier to have found such a nurturing environment for my child.

Staff are really helpful with settling our daughter. She enjoys her time and talks fondly about her teachers. She looks forward to their activities especially trips to the market and library.

The manager has always very good ideas to create new activities and sensitise children about important issues like healthy food, garden and nature or living together.

I'm confident that Colville is a safe and caring environment for my child. Staff are friendly, observant and patient. I particularly like the fact that there's a large garden where the children spend a lot of time playing outside as well as learning.
