Our little girl enjoys going to nursery and seems very happy there.
Management does show some understanding of the child not being able to attend nursery on same days of the week, which is a nice touch.

We visited many nurseries, and are quite happy we picked this one for our 11-month old, though it isn't that close to home for us.


Management and staff are very warm, welcoming and knowledgeable, You can tell they really care. Baby settled very easily, and we even learned some useful tricks to make

life easier at home.


Very nice facilities, great toys and activities, smart nutrition, and flexible enough to accommodate our non-standard fluctuating schedules. We also really like the diversity of languages among babies and staff.


Cost isn't ridiculous, but a bit higher than other places. You get what you pay for though.

My son loves the nursery very much. He has improved a lot with his manners and his speech more. The staff and teacher there are nice, kind and warm. Outstanding performance.

After reviewing a number of nurseries in the area we decided on Little Garden Clapham. Staff were very welcoming and thorough, they take time with the children and parents alike. The nursery feels like a family and all the staff know the children. Our daughter seems to love it and has developed her
social skills, confidence and speech significantly. Most staff are enthusiastic and take the time to talk you through the day. Facilities are good and remain clean, tidy and organised. We feel very happy and confident in our choice for our daughter.

Our son has been at the nursery for three months and has settled in well. The staff are always welcoming, calm and he is always very happy to seem them.
Communication from the management team is regular and efficient and I love the newsletter that the parents receive about upcoming events at the nursery
etc.
The baby room is very well managed and the staff always seem under control- no mean feat when you are trying to give breakfast to lots of toddlers. Our son is given healthy and varied food which is all prepared on site with no added sugar. There is a play area outside which the children seem to love.
Overall we are really pleased with Clapham Day Nursery & Preschool and I would happily recommend the nursery to other parents - a big thank you all the baby room team.

My daughter has attended the nursery for over a year now and she loves it. She is alway very keen to talk about her day, what she has learnt (for example she loves telling me new words she has learnt in the French class) and who she has played with etc. I have seen so many changes in my daughter and
I love it! She has such a big personality and it means the world to me seeing her happy at nursery. I appreciate all the hard work and dedication from the staff members and management. The staff in my daughter class room communicate well with explaining how her day went and also caring for her in all ways needed.There are a good variety of activities set up and available for the children to engage to engage in.

The nursery has been recently renovated and looks really nice. The staff are really making a good job in taking care of the kids and we can see that in our little one being very happy and smiley all the time. Overall, very happy with the choice.

My son has attended this nursery for over a year and a half (since he was 20 months old) and we have been very pleased with it, especially over the last year where there has been a change of management
(The new manager is excellent), a better organisation, refurbishment works (inside and outside -
the new garden is fantastic!). The care and education provided is excellent, with good resources and what is the most important in our opinion, very loving and caring staff, with special thanks in that respect to the male nursery assistant in the Toddlers room and the nursery nurse in the Pre-school room. Our son feels very confident and happy there.
Recently the Pre-schoolers have even been on a trip to the Science Museum, which I found absolutely brilliant for their age and I understand the trip was a great success! Looking forward to the next trips!
I have already recommended this nursery and will continue to do so.

My son joined the nursery in December last year and the settling in period was rather challenging, possibly more for me, rather than him! The staff were wonderful and before I knew it he was fully settled. Since he joined there have been numerous positive changes to the nursery. The newsletters we
receive are informative and well written. My son is incredibly happy there and personally, I feel that there is a real family feel and all the children mingle at some point, irrespective of which child group they are in.
Choosing the right nursery for your child is not easy and you want to make sure it is right and we are all incredibly happy with our choice. The children have such a diverse day and the variation at this stage is key for their development. He has also has a very varied diet which combines many food groups and cultures. As a result, I have a little boy who will eat anything! I would have no hesitation in recommending.

Our daughter has been at the Little Gardens Clapham nursery for the past three months and we couldn't be happier with the level of care she is receiving. Since attending the nursery we have noticed leaps in her physical development and social skills, something which the nursery are consistently supportive
of.


The staff in the baby room are passionate about their jobs, evident through the positive relationships they have built with the children. The support offered by nursery staff and management is definitely personalised to the child and involves a collaborative relationship with the family. For example, I was particularly worried about the weaning process but the staff have gone the extra mile to help through offering advice and reassurance.

Big improvement since a few months as the nursery has been refurbished. Meals are cooked onsite and are really healthy and various. The staff are really nice and get to know the children very well. The staff in the toddler room, is particularly fantastic with the kids, really passionate about their
job.
Every morning, I know that my son will have a great day there: doing lots of great activities, learning a lot in a secure/clean environment.

I have been very pleased with how things have gone with my son at the Clapham Day Nursery. He has only been going for a couple of weeks and seems very happy to be dropped off there in the morning. I'm very pleased with the Little Gardens nursery. There has been a big improvement since last year. The nursery has recently been refurbished. The garden is very nice with interesting play areas ( a little house, cooking area, water play..).
The staff is very friendly, caring and responsive and most
important there wasn't any change of staff for the last year.
My 3-year-old son feels secure and speaks about the different activities he has been enjoying during his day.
The activities are well planned and diverse.

This place has improved out of sight over the past six months. The people were always great, but now the environment is also really good. My son loves it is there and he talks about the male nursery nurse a lot, in particular, I am very glad we found this place.

I am very happy with the Little Gardens Clapham. The nursery is well managed, was recently refurbished to a high standard. My 1.5 year old is happy to go there. Staff take very good care of children, both for entertainment and hygiene/cleanliness. The outside area is very nice. A wide range of toys,

I think this Nursery/Pre-school is excellent! Both my children attend (the eldest for over 2 years) and their development has been fantastic. The staff are all excellent, and imaginative with teaching to inspire young minds, and the new outdoor garden/playground is fantastic. The nursery has a warm,
friendly and nurturing environment, all staff are approachable and willing to provide in-depth feedback on the children. Management is always ready to listen to new ideas from parents on how to improve the nursery. Both my boys are extremely happy here, I highly recommend the Clapham Day Nursery & Pre-School!

Job Title: Deputy Manager Joined: 2020

My name is Souad and I have worked at Clapham Day Nursery for just over two years.


My journey in childcare started in 2014, I had progressed to preschool room leader, during this time I developed my management skills and knowledge. In 2020 I was thankful that an opportunity opened for the Deputy Manager position, to which I was successful.


I am passionate about my role within the nursery, and it is amazing working with such a fantastic team. I am excited to move the nursery forward and work alongside a manager that strives for outstanding.
