Start Smart Daycare

My daughter has been attending since she was about 20 weeks old. As a first time mother, I was very nervous about leaving her but the staff were amazing. Children are placed in rooms depending on their age. When it was time for my daughter to move to a new room I became apprehensive again as she had bonded so much with the staff in her old room as had we. But my angst very quickly disappeared when I saw how much she enjoyed the new space. My experience so far is the staff are consistently good in every room. When I pick my daughter up the staff make me feel almost as if she has had 1:1 care for the whole day, they are so kind, fun and attentive. Like every child, mine doesn't always want to go willingly and those are hard days for a parent. The staff always call me to reassure me she has settled. When there are any concerns regarding her health the staff phone immediately and also follow up with me as necessary. I would have no hesitation in recommending this nursery.

Such a friendly atmosphere at Start Smart Daycare. The staff are all very approachable and accommodating. My son has been attending for the past year and I have just enrolled my daughter. I would definitely recommend.

Always keep me updated with the progress of my children. Easy to approach with any concerns, made going back to work a lot easier. My children always have fun and I know they are well looked after and enjoying their time there.

My son has developed greatly since joining Start Smart one year ago. I was worried about leaving him at first but the staff were excellent and arranged for him to complete an induction. If there were ever any problems they phoned me straight away. My son has made friends and developed a great relationship with the staff that look after him. I am very happy with the service provided.

When it's a 'school day' the kids run to the door to go see all of their friends which is lovely. To know that they are happy and safe where they are is just everything. I couldn't ask for any more.

Both our daughters have enjoyed the best start in life at Start Smart Daycare and we couldn't recommend them highly enough. The staff really cared for and about our girls and were always professional, cheerful and attentive. The facilities and building are purpose built and the opening hours and fees were most agreeable. Huge thumbs up from our girls and us.

After having such a positive experience with Start Smart with my daughter (who's now six), I enrolled my baby son when he turned six months old. You can't put a price on peace of mind and this is what I get from the crèche. The staff including management are exceptional; no nonsense, no fuss, caring and supportive. In my opinion, they go far beyond the call of duty in terms of providing day care for the children. The learning curriculum is wide and varied and themed with ability and age appropriateness considered in the planning. The communication from them is excellent, the internal nursery itself is beautiful, bright and welcoming (don't be put off that the nursery is located in a busy, built-up urban area!). I would, and have highly recommended Start Smart.

My son joined the nursery when it first opened and he was 6 months old. He is 5 now and still there and he absolutely loves it. It made a huge difference to his development and he is such a confident good natured and well mannered little boy and this has a lot to do with the great support he has had in his time there. Even now if I have a day off work and tell him he doesn't need to go to the daycare after school he tells me he would prefer to go there to see the after school room head and assistant and all his friends! Prefers them than me! Lol great facility and the staff are so personable and the Manager is great! the owner is a parent herself so she knows what makes a good daycare. Cannot recommend them enough. Well done team and thank you for taking such great care of my son :)
