Kindred Harlow Nursery and Pre-school

I am really happy with the nursery. It is such a lovely, welcoming place. Every single member of staff really puts their heart and soul into what they do, always giving one hundred percent to support and look after my child. It gives me great peace of mind knowing my child is safe, happy and learning in such a good hands every day. From my experience, I feel that the nursery truly cares about both the children and the parents. I appreciate the regular updates through the app. From meals and naps to activities, I can know what my child has been doing throughout the day, which is incredibly reassuring and helps me feel connected and informed. It is also lovely to see the variety of activities provided and the effort the staffs put into making each day engaging, educational, and enjoyable. So I would highly recommend this nursery.

I am writing to share our wonderful experience with the nursery preschool. Our daughter joined in January 2026 and left in June 2026. From day one, the team was amazing. They followed all care protocols perfectly, kept everything clean and safe, and were always kind and encouraging.

What touched us most was how they supported her despite the cultural and language differences - everything was new for her. I was truly afraid she would struggle to engage, but the staff helped her so much. They made her feel welcome, included, and confident. Thank you for everything. They are the best team. If I have another child I would admit under their nursery care.

Kindred has been a fantastic environment for my son. The staff are friendly, professional, and genuinely take the time to build authentic relationships with the children. What stands out most is how sensible, caring, and grounded the team are in the way they approach both learning and safeguarding.

The nursery is clearly led by a strong and effective leader who communicates well with parents and creates a safe, supportive environment for the children and staff alike. You can see that the culture of the nursery reflects good leadership, consistency, and care.

As a parent, it gives me confidence knowing my son is in an environment where he is known, supported, and genuinely cared for. I would highly recommend the Nursery to other parents.

Kindred Harlow have been amazing with my little one. Helping him grow into the happy funny little boy he is. Even though he's abit behind his peers kindred have done everything they can to get him caught up and he now has!! The staff are just amazing

Hugo has been at Kindred in Harlow for around two years, and the difference from his first nursery is amazing. He used to dread going, but now he loves it and constantly talks about his day. Every teacher is "his favourite," especially Annet, which shows how caring the staff are.

The activities are both fun and educational, and he always comes home excited to share what he's done. He's built great friendships, and the food is fantastic, nutritious and varied, and has encouraged him to try things he'd never eat at home.

He also loves the garden, which is perfect for his energy. We even added extra hours not just for convenience, but because it's so beneficial and great value for his development. We couldn't recommend Kindred in Harlow more.

I was so worried about sending my little one to nursery but that all changed on collection day after his first full day. He was laughing and playing in the garden and left happy. He's been happy ever since!

The staff genuinely care and always offer a positive update or story about his day.

He also somehow sleeps better than at home and eats like a King!

Great nursery and are very supportive with my child's needs. He struggles with illnesses a lot and Irene and all of the staff have been so understanding. It's a great environment and the children are always busy doing fun things. Also want to say that my sons key worker goes above and beyond for my son as he has difficulties leaving me and his dad, she makes sure he feels safe and has a good time. Thank you to all of the staff and management at Kindred for their unconditional support.

This nursery has been brilliant! My son was at another nursery before kindred and he was petrified but as soon as we moved him to kindred he settled in so well. He even found a best friend. This is definitely one of the best nurserys in harlow. Irene and Billie and all the staff are very welcoming. I couldn't be more happier with the services provided.

I really want to give a huge thank you to Irene and all Kindred Nursery in Harlow. They welcome us as a family, they've been always kind and attentive with my son Leonardo. I'm feeling safe as mum when he goes to nursery and this is really important for me. I really recommend this nursery to everyone!!!

We have had a very positive experience with the nursery. The staff are kind, supportive, and clearly care about the children's wellbeing and development. Our child has become more confident, happy, and engaged since attending. We are grateful for the nurturing environment and the dedication shown by the team.

From day one Irene and the staff have been amazing. They are very friendly, caring and dedicated to the children. My son has been loving it since he has started. I can truly see a massive development in his self confidence and interaction with others, thanks to the teachers. We are always informed of everything in reasonable time which shows how professional they are.

My daughter has been here for 2.5 years now. We have seen the management and staff change. Introduced by an almost whole new team. The transition was handled so well, there was no upset and went incredibly smoothly from my parental perspective. The nursery always keeps me up to date with what they are doing each day and each week. I love the pictured updates on the app to see the learning along the 0-5 curriculum. There is a menu that is easily seen a you can take a leaflet home to know what they're eating whilst here. The team is so friendly and have a genuine care for the children, their growth and learning. My daughter thrives here, such a positive and warm environment. I could not think of a better nursery to send a child to. Warm and nurturing.

The activities are well-planned and engaging, supporting learning through play while encouraging creativity, confidence, and social skills.

My son absolutely loved coming to nursery. There were a lot of changes towards the end of 2024 beginning of 2025 in which needed to happen due to the poorly run management and staff issues, but since the change of management Irene has completely changed that place around, we didn't want to leave in the end. Irene personally got to know all the children on a deep level, and in particular my son and was genuinely a warm person. I noticed a massive difference in the nursery and also my son's behaviour. Few other staff members really helped Wren along his journey too and everyone was so lovely, the activities provided were so much better and Wren enjoyed trying different healthy hot meals.

Both of my children attend this nursery, one in the baby group and the other in preschool, and they are both very happy. I can clearly see how much progress they are making thanks to being around other children their age.

The staff and teachers are wonderful - caring, professional, and truly dedicated to the children. The new management is fantastic and has made many positive changes, which really shows in how well the nursery is run.

The meals are great and very varied. My children always eat everything, and there are plenty of snacks, fruits, milk, and water provided, so parents don't need to bring their own. They also provide nappies, which is a huge help.

I really appreciate how well they handle allergies - it's very clear who has allergies, and they have proper safety procedures in place (including allergy pens), which gives me great peace of mind.

The observation and updates are excellent. Every few weeks, we receive detailed feedback about our children's progress and develop

My daughter has attended Kindred Harlow since August 2023. We moved to Harlow in a hurry and the staff were very supportive with allocating a place for us at very late notice. As parents we noticed a period of time during 2024 when there was a lot of staff turnover and standards seemed to slip. But in the last year it's back to being a fab environment. Saying that, my daughter has enjoyed going to nursery throughout her whole time. The staff in the babies room are caring and professional and the environment is nurturing and safe. Now she is in the preschool room and she loves all the activities, especially the ones from external visitors such as football and dance pop. We have seen her develop and grow and make great friendships with the children and nursery staff alike. She'll be leaving to start school in September 2026 and I know she'll be completely ready and be at the right developmental level to thrive.

We have changed nursery about 5 months ago when are son was just under 2 worrying how he will adjust but took him only about 2 days and he absolutely loves it, all staff and management are great, would definitely recommend!

I have had my son at Kindred for 2 years already. With new management, everything changed in the past year. I see a lot of improvement; there are lots of activities, and the stuff is amazing. My son is now happy, and he enjoys the nursery every day.

My son recently started at this nursery, and I honestly couldn't be happier with our experience so far. From the very beginning, the manager, Irene, has been incredibly warm, professional, and genuinely caring. She runs the nursery with such attention to detail and heart, you can immediately tell how passionate she is about creating a safe, nurturing environment for the children.

Safety was my absolute top priority when choosing a nursery and this environment truly gives me peace of mind. The nursery is always clean, secure, and well-organised. I feel completely confident leaving my son there each day knowing he is protected and cared for at all times.
