All staff are helpful and very knowledgable about our childcare. The pass over of information between staff is excellent so you feel safe talking with any staff member. Management are understanding and helpful with any issues we have. Overall our child loves going there. We love the new app and information we receive on there. It’s lovely to still be involved with her day even though our child is not with us.
All the staff are amazing! My child has such a great connection with her key worker, she adores her.
As first time parents, the nursery has always supported us giving us tips and ideas, the most recent one was encouraging our child to brush her teeth. We mentioned to her key worker we were struggling to get her to do this. By the afternoon a moment had been added to the app where she was learning how to do this in a fun and interactive way, when night time came, she was so excited to brush her teeth. Even now every morning after she has brushed her teeth she says ‘my keyworker will be pleased’- life savers!
My daughter thrives at nursery and loves going in every day.
She’s just started preschool and can already see her becoming more and more independent.
It’s the staff that make this such an enjoyable experience for my daughter. That’s every staff member, when my child was in the baby room to all the staff in toddlers and recently preschool staff.
No complaints, friendly staff, personable, approachable, daughter loves it so cannot complain. Love how flexible you are to adhoc days when needed and my daughter has such a great bond with all the staff, I think that just shows how great the nursery is, never worry when she is in your care.
The app keeps us informed and it is so helpful to know how much he has slept and eaten during the day so we know what he is going to require from us on an evening.
The only thing that would assist me further would be if the menu was emailed out ahead of the week so that I could meal plan around what he is having at nursery.
Our son is in the preschool at Burbage Kids Planet. I can speak on behalf of myself and my wife that we couldn’t speak highly enough of the nursery and the staff. Two members of staff have been particularly supportive of our son as he has been diagnosed with global development delay, they have gone over and above with emotional support to us as parents and additional help with our son. This includes helping us with an EHCP application, DLA form and SEND support for the nursery for additional funding to support our son. We see the nursery as an extension of support we have around us to help with our son's additional needs. I would also like to thank the two members of staff who help look after him on a day to day basis, both these staff members especially give us peace of mind he is in safe hands when we are both at work. I would be happy to provide any further testimonials or recommendations - a superb team effort from everyone there. Thank you so much!

Meet the Team (2)
I am the mother of two, they are 10 and 14 and have been working at the setting since 2016. I worked as a nursery practitioner and worked my way through all the senior roles in the nursery before becoming nursery manager. I hold a level 3 in childcare.
Vikki is a mother to 3 children and works as a part time manager at Kids Planet Burbage. She has been at the nursery since 2012. Vikki enjoys spending time with her family, travelling and watching the football!
