Kids Planet Rope Green Farm

Coming towards to end of my maternity leave I was so anxious to leave my baby at nursery all day long, but the ladies in the babies room are honestly amazing I feel so relaxed and most importantly I trust them. My son is so excited from the second we walk up to the entrance to drop him off and we are only 3 weeks in. I highly recommend rope green nursery.

I cannot thank the staff at Rope Green nursery enough. They have made my daughters start at nursery and my return to work the easiest transition ever. They have all been so welcoming and kind and my daughter absolutely adores her time in the acorns baby room.

Thank you to the key workers for taking care of my daughter, you are all wonderful people and exceptional at your job.

Overall, generally satisfied with the facilities - a big outdoor area based on a farm. Lots of learning materials, also the staff are finely and work hard to safeguard the kids and help them learn. My child really enjoys going and has come on leaps & bounds since starting, however, they really lack on the food side, the child often comes home hungry due to very small portions or sometimes no bread in for breakfast! Really?! This has been confirmed by staff members. I have voiced my concerns, but nothing has changed. The car park has to change as in a hazard as well. Needs tarmacing. Considering they charge £77 per day is not good.

I'd like to acknowledge how well the staff handled the transition during the Kids Planet takeover. The generic emails and overall approach from Kids Planet felt impersonal and unprofessional at times. Hats off to the staff for managing that period with such professionalism. I sincerely hope Kids Planet recognises the value of the staff and continues to invest in both them and the facilities.

My son has attended Rope since baby room and is now in Rising 3s about to transition to preschool. All transitions have been smooth and well communicated. My son has had great relationships with all his key workers and it is lovely to receive the photo updates on the app to see what he's been up to.

Since the transfer of the nursery to Kids Planet Rope Green Farm, I have been happy to see the same standards applied by the team. My daughter enjoys her time there, and we, as parents, are happy with the care she receives. I would like more communication on my daughter's time, but I understand why this is reduced in preschool.

Staff are consistently engaging & creative in the activities provided for children in their care. As a parent, I am confident in the empathy, care & support with learning my child receives whilst at nursery. I especially enjoy how much outdoor play is done, the facilities allow for huge amounts of role play & physical development. My child had created lasting relationships with other children & staff, as have I as a parent. The staff are the key ingredient to making the nursery a great place to be.

However, news of the change to Kids Planet was sent by email to staff and parents *at the same time*, (showing no consideration for anyone) promising no changes to the daily running of the nursery, yet there have been huge changes - price increase, meal sizes decreased & higher child to staff ratios. It's heart-breaking to watch such an incredible setting change from being something entirely unique, to a place that is being run purely as a business.

Our son joined the nursery at 6 months old on a full time basis and since day one he has been cared for in a nurturing and supportive environment. His initial key worker in Acorn Babies was outstanding, she provided incredible care and created a fantastic bond with our son meaning he loved nursery from day one. The staff spent time creating different daily activities for the children to participate in which our son loved. Since moving to Toddler Toadstools he has continued to take huge leaps and strides in his development with his new key worker who provides endless positive encouragement and support in a fun environment. The nursery facilities are fantastic and visible improvements are made when needed. The food is varied and healthy with the menu changing on a weekly basis. We get daily updates via an app on what our son has eaten and done during the day which is brilliant. Thank you all for providing a safe and nurturing environment for children to grow, learn and thrive.

My son loves coming to Rising Threes and playing with his friends. The ladies are lovely and I have a nice easy relationship which means I feel comfortable discussing anything with any of the team. I find communication within the room is great.

Our child has been at Rope Green since April 2020, and we had a seamless experience until recently. She was happy, well-fed, content, and loved the staff. When it was sold to Kids Planet on October 3, 2024, parents and staff were not informed in advance, it was poorly managed, showing no care for the staff or children's well-being. Kids Planet are focused on cutting costs and increasing profit.

Staff days off have been changed without consultation. Our child now has her key worker for only 2/3 days she attends, with no contact to parents. The menu and toys were changed to match their 'machine' approach, reducing the amount of food children receive without consulting parents. Children go home hungry despite paying £15 a day for food.

Kids Planet accepts free hours, each 'free' day costs £27 due to mandatory charges. They impose sudden price increases, current pricing is £78 p/d. It's disheartening to see the nursery change while the staff remain positive. I fear they will leave eventually.

My son joined the nursery in November 2024 and the care he has received since has been second to none. He is my first so knowing he is being left in a safe and nurturing environment is extremely reassuring. The staff in the Acorn room are outstanding and have made the transition to nursery so smooth for both myself and my son. Communication between parents and staff is thorough through both handover and the app. My son's key worker has embraced him like he was her own and the bond they have got is lovely. He is so excited to go to nursery in the morning and the development he has made both physically and socially is fantastic. Thank you so much for providing the best childcare setting for my baby boy.

Our son joined Rope Green in October 2024 and is completely at home already. As he is our first, the entire team has been so reassuring, giving you regular updates on how he is enjoying his day. One member of staff, in particular, in Acorns has embraced our son like her own and all the staff genuinely care so much for all the children. He has had his challenges from typical sicknesses that they get from joining any nursery, but nothing is too much for the staff to provide the best care for him and thankfully he has soon gotten over the sickly faze. Our son has developed dramatically since he joined, which is down to the team making new, engaging, and fun activities for the children to do every day. He eats so well and there is something healthy and new on the menu every day. The facilities are also so much better than any other nursery we have looked at - we couldn't be happier! Thanks to the entire Rope Green family for making our experience so great and we can't wait to see him grow over the coming years.

We are absolutely thrilled with our experience at Kids Planet Rope Green Farm. From the moment you walk in you are greeted by warm, welcoming staff who make you feel right at home. The facility is bright, clean, and well-organized, with a wonderful range of activities for our son to play with. The staff are attentive, and caring, and always provide updates throughout the day, making us feel completely confident in the care our son is receiving. Highly recommend!

Communication has been fantastic and it's clear the team genuinely cares about each child's development. We've loved seeing our little one grow in confidence and thrive under their care. We're so grateful to the staff and highly recommend Kids Planet Rope Green Farm.

We couldn't love Rope Green anymore if we tried! Thank you so much to all the incredible staff for playing such a big part in our daughter's development - each week we see the skills she has learned and the confidence she has gained and we are just in awe. There aren't many people I'd be comfortable leaving my girl with but the Rope Green staff are simply amazing. Thanks for creating such a safe, fun, happy, and sociable environment.

We couldn't be happier with Kids Planet Rope Green Farm Nursery- it's an incredible place where our son has truly thrived since starting in September. From the moment you step through the doors, all the staff are so welcoming and friendly, making drop-offs a breeze. The facilities are absolutely fantastic! Acorn Babies is set up to support early development, and the progression to the next rooms is so thoughtfully planned. Our son's key worker has been nothing short of amazing. She genuinely cares about his development, always taking on board our updates and tailoring her approach to support him in the best way possible. It's clear how much effort she puts into ensuring he feels happy, loved, and supported. The daily updates are a real highlight for us. Knowing what he's eaten, his sleep times and other details at the end of each day gives us such peace of mind. It's so thorough and thoughtful, and we're so pleased with the level of care and communication. Highly recommend!
