The team at St Nich's are fabulous. I feel my child is getting really good care with a balance of learning and play.
Both my children attended St Nicholas Nursery and both love it and progressed a lot and settled from first week thanks to all the staff and the management you are amazing for me and for all parents.
The only thing that's a bit frustrating is that the manager is often busy or in meetings and doesn't always reply to emails.
Other than that, I'd definitely recommend it!

This nursery exceeds all expectations. Ranging from the joy on my child's face when at nursery to the remarkable development and growth that has occurred as a result of the implementation of the curriculum the dedication of the staff and the bast array of activities and events the nursery holds and takes part in are testament to the great childhood setting.
The nursery staff adore every child, creating a nurturing and supportive atmosphere. The focused speech and language sessions, whether in small groups or one-on-one, have been instrumental in optimizing my son's communication skills. His independence in daily tasks has increased, and he is now more engaged in play and improving in all aspects of his learning.
Since our tour, we shared our concerns about his previous nursery & the staff immediately addressed these issues, providing a structured environment where he now eagerly participates in activities and remains engaged for extended periods.

The teachers are truly exceptional and have a genuine passion for childcare. Three of the teachers deserve a special shout-out for their outstanding dedication and kindness. They have been brilliant with my son, always attentive to his needs and ensuring he feels happy and secure.
My son absolutely loves it there, and I have seen tremendous growth in his development and social skills since he started. The nursery offers a wide range of extracurricular activities that keep him engaged and excited to learn. We were very happy with St Nicholas Nursery for our daughter and have only moved her as we moved home. She went when she was one and not quite walking/talking and left when she was 18 months, running around and chatting. She settled in quickly and enjoyed going there every day. The staff were always friendly and caring and she bonded with many of them. She engaged in lots of activities and we appreciated the feedback, pictures, art work and performances. Many thanks to all the staff for looking after her so well.
I am very sad that our time here has ended. I wish my son could stay at St Nicholas. 10/10.
I have been very pleased with the overall experience my son has had since he's moved to St Nicholas. He has settled well and has made loads of friends. He talks positively about nursery and looks forward to it, I feel this is a sign that he is enjoying himself. The app is something I feel is very good, in terms of updates/photos of daily activities. St Nicholas is an excellent educational facility. The teachers are amazing and go above and beyond. My daughter always goes in smiling and comes out the same way. It is a very encouraging and educational environment and the kids seem to thrive. It's a brilliant stepping stone to primary education.

Meet the Team (9)
When I was blessed with my twin daughters, I thoroughly enjoyed their early years and I still cherish their memories. This made me move into a new career from a marketing manager to a Nursery manager. It is thriving to see the transition from babies to preschoolers and their progress and see them become confident and independent, developing their social skills and making new friends while developing their learning. Our Nursery undertakes the responsibility to provide opportunities to consolidate a solid platform for their future learning and enable them to reach their full potential whilst being in a child-centred, stimulating and fun-filled environment.
With 3 children of my own and my previous experience working in schools, I discovered my passion for working with children, this led me to gain my Level 3 Childcare & Education Qualification. It is extremely important for me to create a provision that will enhance and support children’s development. I am especially determined to scaffold children’s learning and follow their lead and believe they will all strive as we give them the best early years experience.
When my nephew was born, I used to babysit him a lot, and since then I decided to work with children. I did my NVQ level 2 in childcare in 2003 and then I did my NVQ level 3 in childcare in 2009. I have been working with children for almost eleven years now and I absolutely enjoy what I do.
I have always loved working with children, supporting young minds to explore and develop an understanding of the world around them. Being a mother of two added more love to teaching and therefore I decided to complete my NVQ level 3 for childcare. At the end of the day, where else can you find a better place to work than working with children? You get lots of unconditional love and lots of laughter.
When my youngest son started at playgroup, I decided to help out with some of the activities in the group. I enjoyed doing the activities and being with the children. I did my PPI foundation course and then my level 3 in childcare. I have been working with children for over twenty years.
