Moving my son to Woodentots has been the best decision. I only felt truly at peace once he transitioned there a year ago. It's such a nurturing, child-led environment. The balance of free play and engaging, planned activities is great. I love that the children spend as much time as possible outside, in the nursery garden or exploring the local parks and community. The opportunities get even better for the toddlers with Forest School twice a week and weekly tennis lessons. There are so many more things to love: a montessori set up, a ton of messy play, different languages and cultural celebrations, cooking, etc. Most importantly, I know my son is genuinely cared for. Knowing he'll be comforted during challenging moments when I can't be there means the world to me. Patty is an incredible manager who sets a wonderful tone for the entire setting. The kids clearly adore her. The whole team is really lovely and supportive and works hand-in-hand with parents. Can't recommend them enough

Woodland Wanderers has been quite literally a breath of fresh air. Having been anxious about leaving my son, the staff were incredible and helped both me and him settle in so quickly. The whole settle process gave me confidence and it was just so reassuring to see him smiling at pick up and drop off. He loves the forest school and the whole environment is so welcoming. I cannot thank the whole team enough for providing such a nurturing and loving environment for the children to thrive in.

I honestly can't thank them enough for making my transition back into working so smooth and happy, knowing my son is having such a fulfilling and happy experience each day. They work so hard and always do the best for the kids. I honestly couldn't imagine a better environment to grow up in - 10/10

My son Has been with Woodentots for 8 months now and we are absolutely delighted and astounded by what a lovely, caring and nurturing nursery it is. Patty it is reassuring, caring and kind and highly professional- my son absolutely adores her. The entire team are so joyous and give such a lovely energy to the children. The children are engaged in wonderful activities, are taken out in nature and also enjoy Spanish lessons. My son is so happy there and often tells us what a lovely day he has had with the team. The communication with parents is fantastic and we feel so supported and that our son is very well looked after

The team here have done amazing with my daughter, who didn't start nursery until later than most. They welcomed her, and really tailored there response to her emotions and moods so well and specifically - even after a short while, and even more so now, I feel they really know her well. They have helped her open up and the things they get up to are amazing. They have a forest school, which parents can attend every month or so - we have made chamomile tea around a fire (Safely of course), have made art from natural materials, explored the forest - there is a swing and a hammock! The staff clearly enjoy being around the kids, and it works both ways. If we are ever talking about the staff at home with my daughter, she is always smiling talking about them. They really are setting them up so well to learn how to be educated and learn how to be lovely members of society. They go and explore the local shops, meet people who work in the area and all sorts. A lovely place for my kid to be.

We're really happy with this nursery. It's a lovely, nurturing place where the children are clearly settled and happy. My daughter enjoys every day there and always comes home full of stories about what she's been doing. The curriculum is rich and diverse, with lots of activities that spark creativity and help the children explore new interests. There's a great balance between indoor and outdoor learning, including forest school twice a week and regular outings that connect them with the local community.

What stands out most is the care and support the staff give. They really know my daughter, understand her personality, and always seem to know how to encourage and guide her when she needs it. It's clear that every child is seen and valued for who they are. An amazing nursery that we recommend without hesitation.

All the staff are brilliant - so warm, caring and fun - and Nieve adores every one of them. We especially want to mention Patty, the manager, who is just incredible! She always goes above and beyond to make Woodentots such a happy, creative place. You can really see how much effort she puts into planning fun, engaging activities for the children every day. The nursery overall is always incredibly calm and a really warm and happy feeling when you walk in. We couldn't be more grateful for the love and care Nieve gets - I can't recommend this nursery highly enough, there's a lot of talented and caring staff here and it's paying off, with such happy babies. Little man seems very happy at nursery - it's small enough that it has a very cosy, homely feel and each child gets personalised attention. Staff are so caring towards the children and very supportive and communicative with us. Things to be aware of - they don't have a garden next to the main nursery but at least my little one likes the buggy ride to go out to the garden. The food is all veg and much more varied than what we can offer at home which is great but we do give him more animal protein on weekend meals! Overall would highly recommend.

Woodentots Montessori Nature Babies nursery has been our second home since 2022, when my eldest started with them. They have been very naturally caring, organically loving to my babies. That was the main reason I chose to send my second baby there, too. Even though we live far now, I take all the hassle to bring my baby there. They are very professional as well as open to comments and communication. My babies learned to be independent and confident little humans in everything they do from a very young age, and that shows they do their job at the maximum level of success. I love WMNB and all the members of staff working there. I can't thank them enough for their love and for being our second home!

We are absolutely delighted with this nursery - it truly feels like a home for both the children and their families. The atmosphere is warm, nurturing, and full of joy. Patty, the manager, is simply outstanding and makes a real difference every single day. She leads a wonderful team of teachers who are kind, dedicated, and genuinely attentive to the needs of every child. What we love most is the nursery's outdoor focus: daily walks, Forest School twice a week for the older children, and a strong commitment to sustainability and respect for nature. Lovely nursery, with a super caring and kind manager and team. My child is so happy and excited at drop off, and settled in so well with them. The range of activities that the kids do is impressive, and we love that they learn languages. The kids get outside every day (rain or shine!), and my child loves it. Very happy with the nursery. As a bonus, it's on a lovely street with a super friendly community - so I enjoy drop off too!

My 1-year-old son started back in January and is absolutely thriving! The settling-in process was seamless and the staff have been so kind and nurturing throughout. He's really enjoying the organic meals and is eating so well. We've also been really impressed with the range of Forest School activities. The staff are friendly and approachable, and we feel so lucky to have found this nursery.

Woodentoots has been the ideal fit for my son. He loves the outdoors - the sense of adventure and creative activities means that he is always learning a range of skills. His vocabulary has developed very well through the tailored and engaging activities. Overall, a brilliant foundation. The range of organic and healthy meals for him has also led to him feeling fulfilled, something which I was concerned about. The leadership team have been informative, taken care in ensuring that his day to day needs are met and have always been prompt with communication. A fabulous team doing a great job.

Woodentots was great and provided a great nurturing environment for my nephew. I like their focus on sustainability and the fact that they have another nursery nearby to progress to on the same road, which is convenient.

The kids have such a wonderful time at the nursery - they are all so happy and nurtured. The twice weekly forest school is an amazing element, they go on loads of other outings. Delicious food. I would highly recommend!

My daughter attended this nursery for two years. She was super happy there, absolutely loved her teachers, had wonderful activities and was such a nurturing and caring environment. We always felt the teachers truly cared about and knew our daughter very well. The Montessori activities and forest school has helped her love learning. Since starting school, it is very noticeable what she has learnt at the nursery, the confidence, independence but also literacy skills means she is really loving school already and settled in well. Would highly recommend Woodland Wanderers, a wonderful place where they truly care about your kids.

A wonderful nursery, loved that my child got lots of time exploring outdoors in forest school as well as time indoors with the teachers doing all sorts of other play and learning. A truly nurturing nursery, I was so sad when it was time to move on.

I have had 3 children attend this nursery. Every day, my children have gone in happy. Every day they come out happy and well-fed. I could not ask for more. Each of the children bonded with the staff. I get a mini update at pick-up time on how the day has gone. If I want more information, I can easily message the staff. My children have improved speech and conversation skills. They socialise well. The nursery plays a huge part in this.
