We couldn't be happier with the care our little boy has recieved at Little Learners the staff are amazing - kind, caring and genuinely invested in every child's development and well-being. We can't thank the team enough for everything they have done, and we would highly recommend this nursery to any parent looking for a supportive and caring environment for their child.

Also, don't take payment for bank holidays, like some other private nurseries.

My daughter attended Little Learners St Cuthberts. She has had the most amazing journey in her time at the nursery. The staff are exceptional at what they do - caring each day for the children in a well though out nurturing environment. My daughter felt very comfortable around staff, who made her feel welcome and taught her so much. She is growing into a fantastic 4+ year old due to the care of the staff at the nursery. I would highly recommend Little Learners St Cuthberts, to other parents.

I cannot rate this nursery enough! I have had 3 children attend since they opened 10+ years ago, including my last child who has SEN needs and they have went above and beyond to make their time and mine absolutely amazing. I honestly couldn't have asked for more, if I could rate it more stars I absolutely would!

My son was placed in little learners from 11 months old until he went to reception. He thoroughly enjoyed his time at nursery and loved all the staff. My son loves cars and emergency services, and the nursery organised for a police car to come by! For the 3 days a week he was at nursery i knew he was cared for, supported and encouraged to reach his full potential. The staff are amazing and I could not recommend this place more!

My two kids went to Little Learners. My daughter finished in July 2025 and is now in big school. My kids loved the nursery and I loved it. As a parent it is truly hard handing your child over to others to take care of. You think who is going to keep them safe, make them feel loved when we are not there, give them cuddles, truly care about them tell them stories, love them. Little Learners did all of that for my kids. They took all that stress away because I knew they were well looked after and loved at Little Learners, Lovaine Place. My daughter who left July 2025, absolutely loves all the staff that work there while she was there for almost 3 years. This little nursery was truly a blessing to me and my family and we always highly recommend it to everyone who ask. It is not just a nursery, it is a home away from home.

My son started attending little learners in 2022 when he turned one. I was so nervous about leaving him when I went back to work, but I didn't need to be. He settled in easily. The staff looked after him so well and played such a huge and valuable part to his development. We were kept up to date with his progress regularly and daily hand overs about how his day had been etc. He left in august this year and he has settled into school. However, he often mentions his time at nursery and key workers and misses them. We will always value the time he had at little learners.

I'm blown away by how much my little one has settled and grown since starting at Little Learners and in such a short time. The staff are so accommodating, not only for the child but for parents as well. I would/have been recommending Little Learners to other parents.

My daughter has been at this nursery for nearly a year now and she absolutely loves it. She was very nervous and upset about attending nursery at first, but the staff were very supportive and encouraging and she quickly formed a great bond with all the staff and other children. The staff are all lovely and have really helped my child to grow and explore new things and I am always kept well informed about her daily activities. The nursery itself is very welcoming and cosy, with lots of activities. She also enjoys all the meals she has there which are very varied and balanced. Would 100% recommend Little Learners!

We are so pleased we chose this nursery for our son. He started just a few weeks before his first birthday and we were very nervous leaving him in a new setting. The team were so caring and were happy to keep us up to date with how he was doing. The size of the nursery works really well for us, as our son gets a bit overwhelmed in larger busier places. The food seems to be a big hit, and he's made a great bond with his lovely key worker.

My daughter started in September and she absolutely loves it! All the staff are wonderful, really friendly and caring. They do so many activities throughout the day, my daughter is always full of smiles after her days at nursery and has already come on leaps and bounds. My daughter loves the varied meals provided, often demolishing things she would normally refuse at home!

Could not recommend this nursery enough. The staff are so attentive and make a real effort to teach and gain a relationship with children. My daughter is so happy and is excited to come to nursery every day.

My daughter absolutely loved Little Learners, the staff are amazing; so warm and caring and the care is excellent! She learned so much and made so much progress in all areas of her development. As a parent, I was always kept up to date and well informed about how my daughter was doing and there were regular reviews of her progress. I always felt so comfortable dropping my daughter off as she was made to feel so welcome and loved by the Little Learners family!

My son settled into nursery as soon as he started in June 2022 aged 18 months and loved going. The staff were all amazing with him and really welcoming and friendly. Drop off was always a personal lovely handover and pick up you always got lots of feedback from the day. My son used to skip into the nursery and made friends who he still talks about since leaving in July 2024. I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone.

Our daughter really struggled to settle at her old nursery setting, so it was such a relief to find Little Learners and to see her settle and come out of her shell. The staff truly cared for our daughter and really focused on her needs. They also were great about incorporating what was going on in our family life with activities and conversations at nursery too. For example, I went back to work and my daughter came home with a book about mummies going to work. We got guinea pigs and she came home with foraged flowers for them. The staff always went above and beyond. The nursery itself is small, but I feel this meant more care and attention is able to be provided to the children. Kids are not at risk of being overlooked. I highly recommend this lovely little nursery. We are certainly glad our daughter was able to attend and to have been taught by such wonderful, kind staff.

I could not recommend Little Learners enough. My child attended from 1 year old till leaving recently for reception. The staff are amazing, very friendly, caring and attentive. At the end of the day, they provide you with a full breakdown of how the child has been, what activities they have been up to and what food they have consumed. Also regular parent meetings throughout the year to keep track of the child's personal development and provide parents opportunities to discuss any key areas of focus. They have a lovely onsite cook who prepares all the children's meals and the kitchen is separate from the playrooms. They have a great outdoor space which consists of a big open grass area and a turf area so they can play on bikes/ scooters etc. They always make the most of this space no matter the time of year and provide appropriate clothing to accommodate rainy days. My child was so comfortable at this nursery asking every day to go which made the transition as a parent so much easier.

My son has loved his time at Little Learners. The staff all work really hard and they should be commended for their work ethic, patience, and understanding. He went from a shy little boy to an outgoing young man, and the communication from his carers was excellent. They nurtured his own interests so well and also helped him discover lots of new things to learn and talk about. They were also great at keeping his passion for books going. He was excited every day he got to go, and we also love the sense of community we feel having the nursery so close to home, and now so close to his new Primary School. It takes a village to raise a child, and I can't thank Little Learners enough for helping us create that for our son.

Our son loves going to Little Learners, he asks every week when he can go back. The staff is really great: friendly, caring and gives updates on little one's learning journey at every pick-up. I particularly like that learning and activities are child-led and they seem to do a lot of reading, playing outside and crafting or painting. There are also nice seasonal activities going on. Can highly recommend it!
