I could not have been happier that we found Caversham. It is an incredible, warm, familiar environment. My son has been there since 14 months when I really wasn't keen on him going, but they were incredible. He breastfed till he was 2, which made his napping routine more difficult but they went to such lengths to make sure we found something that would work. All the staff are incredibly warm, kind and caring. Noorjahan is just incredible. The garden is wonderful, they do lovely things like yoga and growing vegetables. But overall the best thing is that everyone is super happy and relaxed, and I feel like he's getting the best possible care. My son is about to go off to pre-school now and I will be so sad to leave - looking forward to my next baby starting.

The regular updates on their days and milestones mean we always feel connected to what they're up to, even when we're not there to see it. Two years on, we still feel incredibly lucky to have Caversham Nursery as part of our family's life.

My daughter has been at Caversham for almost four years (since she was a baby to now, about to go to school) and we couldn't have been happier with the care she has received. It's a lovely community with an amazing garden and space for the kids, and an incredibly warm and nurturing environment. "Caring is sharing!" my daughter tells me a lot! The staff are all completely lovely with remarkably low turnover for a London nursery which we've really appreciated. Management is efficient and organised, and we will be very sad to leave at the end of the Summer.

It's hard to put into words how grateful we are to everyone at Caversham Nursery. Alice has been with you since she was just 11 months old, and you've been such a special part of her life.

Watching her grow into such a happy, confident, and caring little girl has been incredible, and we know so much of that is thanks to your love, patience, and encouragement. Thank you for caring for her as if she were your own and for giving us complete peace of mind every single day.

This nursery is nothing short of phenomenal. I feel lucky to have found it. My son started at 2 and the nursery went to great lengths to settle him. When he struggled to sleep at first they asked what his home routine was like and copied it exactly to make him feel supported. Including singing baa baa black sheep 100 the first time apparently. He's stayed until he was ready for pre school. He's shy and someone who needs to be given time to try things and they understood him straight away and have supported his little soul the whole way through. He leaves an incredibly confident and happy boy and I owe a lot to the nursery. My daughter started at 10 months after I was made redundant on mat leave and needed time to job hunt. Again she settled quickly and now waves her hands with excitement whenever we arrive. The nursery have been amazingly supportive and flexible when i've asked to swap days to attend interviews. It's a community, not just a nursery.

A wonderful community nursery with a caring team. Our twin boys attended Holly Lodge from January to June 2026, as their first experience in a nursery setting. It was great to see how they learned, developed and thrived under the guidance and care of the staff. We were grateful to be a part of the Holly Lodge community and would highly recommend it to other families.

Fantastic care for our daughter since she was a year old, and she is still going back for school holidays until she is five. A great environment, caring practitioners, good activities, lovely garden and considerate to parents commitments.

We love Caversham. Our son has been there since before he turned 1. The care of the staff creates an incredibly nurturing environment. The size of the classes and the wonderful garden are all added bonuses.

Caversham is a very special place. Noorjuhan and her team go out of their way to make the children feel at home. From the first week of leaving my son in their care I knew he was being well looked after by kind and compassionate people, and now almost three years later as he looks to move to school I know he considers the staff his great friends. He tells me as much every day! I've been really impressed with the range of activities they do ( baking, yoga, crafts, expeditions ) and the emphasis they place on outdoor and creative play (They have a large garden which is rare for such a central location).My son's language development has come on leaps and bounds since being at Caversham and I know he reads a lot with the staff. My son has always been so excited to tell me about his days at Caversham which speaks volumes. I feel very lucky to have found it, and can't thank Noorjuhan and her brilliant team enough for their care and dedication over these past 3 years.

My 16 month old absolutely loves going to nursery here. The staff are fantastic and he gets to do loads of fun things every day, including lots of burning off steam outside - which is useful for him as a very active boy. They have a great selection of toys, trikes etc and do lots of water play and painting. He always has a good day at nursery.

I would not hesitate to recommend caversham to any prospective parents, they have a wonderful team and community!

Once settled-in, our child literally flourished, she started to crawl and trying to stand up, she started to eat more and more, and overall became more interactive with us and with strangers, waving at them in the street for example. The staff organises periodically culture days where parents are invited to come and bring their own food to celebrate cultural diversity. Overall, a great nursery and due to its wonderful location, an "hidden gem"!

Holly Lodge Nursery feels like a home away from home. The staff are incredibly human, sensitive to both my daughter and me, thoughtful and caring. My daughter started there at 8 months old, when she could barely sit up and now, just two months later, she is almost walking!

She always seems happy and comfortable every time we arrive. The honesty, warmth, and calm atmosphere of the place are truly wonderful. And not to mention the beautiful neighbourhood, full of nature and trees for the children to enjoy!

My child loves this nursery so much, she thrives beyond expectations. She is growing into a kind, confident and healthy little person. She is learning so much and I especially appreciate the forest school elements. I have no doubt she will be more than ready for Reception. Just so grateful.

Our twins love the Holly Lodge nursery! They've been attending since they were six months old, so for almost two years now. The staff is caring and loving, accommodating and understanding, and always provides fun activities! We're so grateful for all the exceptional care this nursery gives to our boys. We highly recommend it to any parents!

Holly Lodge Nursery is amazing! Every day we are blown away by the level of care and thoughtfulness that goes into creating a wonderful environment for the children. Our little one is having the best time and is learning lots whilst having fun. We feel immensely lucky!

We love Holly Lodge! It's tucked away, quiet and safe. The staff are amazing: so friendly, kind and warm. They really know and care about each child. When mine stopped napping, even the manager spent time sitting and helping her. I'm always really impressed by the activities they do together: from arts and crafts to nature experiences and lots of games. My daughter runs in each day, excited to see everyone. She loves her friends and the staff too. Once, my neighbour saw them all at the park together and said it was lovely to see my daughter so happy in such a nice group. We need to move and are only looking at places I can get to Holly Lodge from! They also have a range of hours you can choose from and the food sounds healthy and varied.

We had first tried a large chain nursery, but it felt corporate and impersonal, with a high turnover of staff. We're so grateful to the mum at the park who recommended Holly Lodge, it has been exactly what we were hoping for.

Our 2-year-old daughter started in October, and it has truly been a blessing. The nursery is warm, welcoming, and full of genuinely caring staff. The team feels connected, everyone seems fully involved, and it's clear that they do their work with love and dedication. Many of the staff have been there for years! which is reassuring and shows they are valued and well-treated. The manager has been incredibly flexible and supportive during our daughter's settling-in, making the transition smooth and enjoyable.

We've also been impressed by the quality of the food and the way the nursery includes parents in fun activities. It's been wonderful to see our daughter engaging with her peers and sharing these experiences with us.

We couldn't be happier with the care and attention our children have received at this nursery. The staff have been absolutely amazing with both of our children-compassionate, attentive, and truly invested in their development. From the very beginning, we've felt like partners in their learning journey.

What stands out most is how well the team listens to us as parents. They actively engage with our concerns and suggestions, and it's clear that they deeply care about creating a safe, emotionally supportive, and stimulating environment for every child. It's such a comfort knowing that our children are in a place where they are not only cared for, but genuinely understood and encouraged to thrive.

Both my kids attended Holly Lodge and the youngest is still there. It's a warm, welcoming environment with such friendly staff - my daughter absolutely loves it. It's very well managed by the manager who communicates efficiently and organises lots of fun activities and learning for the kids. Excellent nursery.
