Our daughter has been here for a few terms now, and is doing so well. The level of care and attention is very high, enabled by the small class sizes and attentive staff. The quality of activities is good and the children clearly enjoy the forest and outside space, as well as the modes of learning that unlocks.

Had both my children through Eco. Kids love it, staff are friendly, setting is good and lots of extra curricular activities throughout the year. Progression of rooms is well structured, key worker support through the rooms always well managed.

We were very hesitant about sending our son to nursery as, while we know it is important for socialisation, as children's entertainers, many colleagues who work in nurseries said don't do it unless you HAVE to. We decided to have a little look around and were immediately drawn in by the name Eco Montessori. From the moment we stepped foot inside, we knew this was no ordinary nursery. It was so very clear how much each and every one of the staff members genuinely cared about each and every child, and that the building was specifically geared towards children. The kitchen is so obviously meant for children rather than adults, which made it clear that when we were told that the older children help cook the food, it was not just a claim. Children of all ages greet our 18 month old when we bring him in, and he truly adores his key worker, Miss Rara (Kiara). They have no issues catering to his vegan diet. He has a home away from home in Eco Montessori, Winchester and we could not be happier!

There's not a lot of outside space but to be expected with city location - they make good use of what they have with regular excursions.

Eco Montessori is such an incredible place, the staff are all incredibly caring and friendly, all the children across all age range rooms know all members of staff so there is a sense of familiarity. My son has developed so so well since being there and I'm constantly surprised with how much he learns, what activities they do and how often they go out. Although the garden is on the small side, it's been utilised so we'll and they spent a lot of time outside, but they also often go out to local areas like Winnall moors. It's lovely to have the small setting and not huge numbers of children, it feels more personable. I would recommend the nursery to anyone and everyone!

We love that they are a city centre setting and although they have a small garden they make the most of the space for creative play and take the kids out on lots of adventures! I love that they use the facilities in Winchester such as the library and local parks!

Communication is excellent, and the staff are always supportive, approachable and happy to help. I really appreciate how flexible they are and how accommodating they have been to our needs. The way the help and support SEN children or children with possible SEN is amazing . The updates on daily progress and always happy to discuss development and behavioural concerns.

I would highly recommend this nursery to any parent looking for a caring, supportive and welcoming setting. They have done amazing with my sons speech.

This nursery is like family. My daughter loves going to nursery and when she is having a hard day , there is always someone to give her some one on one time and attention. They are simply brilliant and make me feel safe to drop her off there

Our son loves going to nursery here - the staff are fully aware of each child's needs and gear their approach accordingly. The facilities are good and they have a great routine. We would highly recommend it.

Our experience with Echo Montessori Winchester has been nothing but outstanding. The manager is the friendliness person you ever speak to and all the teachers there are so committed to each child's development. My little boy joined this pre-school, unable to talk, and now he doesn't stop talking since they did one-to-one sessions teaching him how to express himself. I will be forever grateful for this. If you are looking for a preschool that will bring your child out of their shell, then this is the preschool for you.

All in all a great nursery with lovely staff but improvement needs to be made at management level.

Our one-year-old also started recently and seems to be settling well. The baby room is a wonderful space for little ones - it feels both spacious and cosy. I would absolutely recommend this nursery - especially to children who get a bit overwhelmed in larger groups.

I loved Norman Court from the moment I walked through the door as it was clear that they really cared for each of the children. My daughter was 9 months when she started and really wanted to cuddle the entire time, the nursery staff were happy to oblige and I have always felt they looked after her and loved her as I would. To add to that she could not have dairy and the nursery were completely happy and able to deal with this. She has now been there for 8 months and integrates herself much more with the other children which is a pleasure to see, the nursery staff are still always there for a cuddle should she need it and it is clear they have taken the time to get to know her properly by the updates they give me when she attends.

I would recommend the nursery to anyone, I honestly couldn't be happier.

My daughter has attended Norman Court since her first birthday, she is now 3.5 and I can not fault the care and assistance with her development that she has received. My daughter speaks fondly of all aspects of nursery and she is absolutely thriving developmentally. The setting is nothing short of idyllic and all staff go out of their way to ensure the children are stimulated and stretched. All food is prepared on-site by a dedicated cook and appears both nutritionally balanced and in my daughter's words is 'yummy' (subject to the odd bout of 3-year-old fussiness). I would have no hesitancy whatsoever in recommending Norman Court and am hugely thankful for all the care and support the manager and her team continue to provide for my daughter.

Both our girls have been very happy at Norman Court. Our eldest (3.5) looks forward to the nursery days and our youngest (1) had no issues settling in. The setting is idyllic with plenty of green space for nature walks and a great garden. There's no shortage of space inside either. All the staff are friendly, accommodating and very easy to get along with. The sunshine hours scheme is a great idea and really helps on the odd occasion you need extra childcare. Can I think of any bad points? Not really, extra lighting in the car park might help but then you'd miss out on the stars!

I love this nursery and have done since my first ad hoc visit. Nothing is too much trouble and they welcomed me with open arms to look around. My child has now been there 5 months and he loves it also. In fact, he often looks at me on arrival as if to say "do I really have to go home?"! The staff are supportive and always on hand to chat through the day. They support the way we parent as opposed to imposing strict regimes to suit them. The facilities are great and the opportunity to use the grounds and pool are amazing.

Norman Court Nursery is a very happy environment. Numbers are relatively small but large enough to form great friendships and the individual care is fantastic. Both my boys are very happy there and the staff have kept us up-to-date with their progress and development. The online reports through the Montessori secure website are also a great way to see what my boys get up to including pictures showing their activities. I have found the management to be very engaged with all the children and the outdoor play area and the setting is simply awesome. Plus there is a heated outdoor pool.
