From my Son starting in babies all the way through to preschool his whole experience has been incredible. He has learnt so much and come one with his development so well. The staff are fabulous and look after the children with great care and attention. My son absolutely loves going and I never have
issues dropping him off and always happy when I pick him up. He has been set up ready for school well and I have enrolled my daughter to start here when I return to work. Wouldn't consider anywhere else.

Both our boys have attended The Cottage and they both loved it there. They have learned so much during their time there as the activities include so much from numbers to colours, words, songs etc. We were always really impressed with the variety of different activities. Both our boys always skip in

My daughter has been attending The Cottage Day Nursery since she was just 1 year old. Like many little ones, she found the early days challenging and cried a lot at first. But the baby unit team were absolutely fantastic - they showed such patience, care, and emotional support, helping her settle in
gently and feel safe and loved.


Now, at 2 years and 3 months, she's moved into the main nursery and goes in with a big smile, excited to play with her friends. It's such a joy to see how happy and confident she is.


I want to give a huge thank you to every single member of staff at The Cottage Day Nursery. It's all the little things you do - the smiles, the cuddles, the creativity, and the reassurance - that make such a big difference. You've made it so much easier for us as parents to leave our child each day, knowing she's in truly trustworthy and caring hands.

The Cottage Day Nursery is one of the best nurseries when it comes to child development, as we were having some concerns since she was a baby. Our daughter improved massively in every way. I highly recommend it to every single parent. The independence, the improvement that we noticed in her are exceptional.

We've had a wonderful experience with The cottage.
The activities are well thought out - creative play, outdoor time, storytelling, and early learning skills are all balanced beautifully throughout the day. Our child looks forward to going every morning and comes home happy and full of stories about

My family rate the Cottage so highly. The range of activities and opportunities offered to the children is extensive, and the enthusiasm of the staff is exceptional. They genuinely care for my child, and I receive thorough updates each day. The nursery work with the parents to manage any challenging
behaviour or changes at home such as new siblings arriving. It is so comforting knowing that my child spends his time at The Cottage feeling safe and happy. His eyes light up when he tells me about his day.

Couldn't recommend enough both Children love to go and enjoy the daily amazing activities that are not only fun but help there development.
Kept up to date with daily info and pictures with an app so kept in loop while need to work. They have helped every step of way from weaning, trying different
foods and helping progress in toilet training, walking, talking and much more.
Like an extended family giving a caring social setting ensuring kids are ready for the next big step. Also communication is great and if needing to add extra days / swap always been as helpful as possible.

Since my son has attended this nursery he seems to have come on leaps and bounds. He is a lot more confident in everyday activities and I know all the staff at the nursery do the upmost to bring out the very best in a child.
The app is brilliant for viewing how his day has is going, and also communicating
any needs of the day without having to phone up.
All staff are polite and friendly towards us when we are in the nursery.
The fact the children are taken outside as soon as the British weather allows is fantastic. Also the trips to the park are a brilliant idea.
I only have 2 bug bears with the nursery; parents parking right on the junction at mornings time during drop off. It makes it very dangerous for anyone walking to drop their children off for the morning (dropped kerbs are parked over) you also cannot see if anyone is turning off the busy main road, a message from management to all may help with this.
Also the fact the funded hours aren't averaged over the year / month.

Absolutely fantastic nursery. I have sent all of my children to this nursery and they have been looked after so well. My children have all developed so well here too. The staff are great, they have great communication, updating you all the time throughout the day how your child is. They also follow

My little boy loves going to nursery, holding his arms out to the nursery nurses in the morning. He loves the messy play and time outside! I have had no concerns since he started and it's lovely to watch him grow in confidence as he explores different areas at nursery. He also enjoys the added activities

Great nursery and lovely staff who have helped my son so much with his eating! Staff are always willing to give a debrief about his day and explain what they have been doing. The app used is great too!
My son always enters nursery excitedly and loves going and has a lovely bond with his keyworker.
Also pretty sure my son's favourite person is the nursery manager as he looks for her as soon as we get to nursery and gives her the biggest smile!

This nursery is by far the best one I've personally took my child too, and will take my future kids to aswell. My daughter always comes back with a massive smile on her face, and tells us all the activities she has done. They use an app which informs the parents on whats going off, such as activities,
nap times and also incident reports which is really great! This puts your mind at ease when they are there. Could not recommend this enough.
