Our baby spent six very happy months at Kidzcare Grange Loan. We thought that the standard of care was excellent, and the staff were wonderful. She had some modestly complicated diet and support needs, and the nursery were very helpful in talking us through how these were followed precisely. The staff treated her with love and care, and were just as excited as us as she met her milestones. She clearly bonded very well with her caregivers, and was always happy to be dropped off. Thank you!

Both of our children have attended Kidzcare Grange Loan Nursery during the past four years, and it has been the most amazing experience for us all. The nursery is set in beautiful grounds that the children love exploring, and it is really well managed with great communication and lots of opportunities for parent involvement (Christmas fayres, summer fun days etc). Our children have benefitted from fun, inventive activities, lots of time outdoors (including forest school sessions and lots of nature walks) and the most wonderful, nurturing, thoughtfully tailored care from the staff. They have formed really special relationships with the staff, many of whom of been there throughout the children's entire time at nursery, and whose affection for the children and dedication to their jobs is obvious. We feel so, so lucky we found this nursery as it has really shaped our life as a family and provided the most wonderful, 'above and beyond' care for our two little ones.

Our daughter attended part-time from 11 months. She had a great time at Kidzcare Grange Loan and we couldn't have been happier with the care she received. The Nature School was a highlight in the oldest two rooms and something she looked forward to each week. We enjoyed getting updates on the Learning Journals page about what activities had been happening each week. We felt our daughter was well prepared for the transition to P1 in her final year at the nursery.

I would definitely recommend this nursery.

Our son attended Kidzcare from 1 to P1. He has had a great time and the staff has been friendly and helpful. They have a whole park that they use for activities and have journeys organised to the Christmas market or the museum. Our son has been very happy and enjoyed his time there. All the kids were very friendly to each other. We're very pleased with the experience. The staff were very caring.

A couple of years ago there has been a bit of staff turnover that impacted our son when he was about 2. I feel the situation has been better in the recent year.

My daughter started at Kidzcare Grange Loan when she was 13 months, and she has just left to start P1, aged 5, almost exactly 4 years on. Her time at the nursery has been a wonderful experience for the whole family, the staff are fantastic, many of them have been in post for a number of years and have a wealth of experience. The access they have to the hospital grounds presents wonderful learning and playing opportunities in a beautiful natural environment, including taking part in nature school. Time at nursery and preschool has been one of the most precious things we have had, particularly through the difficult times during the pandemic. I would recommend this nursery wholeheartedly.

Kidzcare Grange Loan is an excellent nursery and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a safe, warm, fun place for their child to grow and learn. My son has just left for school and has absolutely loved it. The location is great - it is set in the grounds of the Astley Ainslie so the kids are out and about in nature almost every day. They run a nature school which my child has really enjoyed. The staff are so friendly and fun - obviously making a real effort to do interesting activities with the kids. It's great!

The staff are really welcoming and dedicated, which is why I chose this nursery. My boys absolutely love coming here and have developed enormously since starting here. The facilities are great, although there is not much outside space on the grounds they go for walks every day to the beach or park. Highly recommend to anyone.

We feel incredibly lucky that we have had the wonderful team at Kidzcare looking after our two children. The kindness, care and enthusiasm they show every single day is incredible. As key workers we also continued to use the nursery through lockdown and the stoicism, professionalism, calmness and compassion shown throughout was an absolute saving grace in the midst of the COVID chaos.

The staff are caring, encouraging and friendly. They have got to know my child well and make her feel valued and inspired. She really enjoys going to nursery and feels excited by the different things she does there. I would recommend the nursery to others.

Within my review, I've put poor next to the facilities/outside space. Kidzcare has not got a lot of space in front of the nursery, however, the staff are making a great job of entertaining the children at the nearby park, beach and library to keep them occupied. I do like the activities the staff are doing with the children. There are different topics each week - e.g how a post office works, counting and learning money, numbers, alphabet and so on. You are doing a great job, well done. It is much appreciated. Thank you.

We are really happy with the Kidzcare @ Grange Loan. Our 4-year-old and 18 month old are thriving there as the staff are so caring and make the effort to tailor activities to each childs interests. The nursery has fantastic outdoor space and our daughter loves the nature school day. We feel very confident that the nursery is providing the best possible care. They also communicate really well with the parents so any strengths or challenges our children face are celebrated and supported in a way we feel works best for them.

Fantastic staff. Great environment. Can't be faulted. My son is very happy here.

Our experience of the nursery has been fantastic and we would definitely recommend to others. Very experienced teachers who are caring and professional. My daughters love the staff very much and are very happy. Since joining the nursery, my daughters have developed in so many ways. They are confident and balanced and look forward to going into nursery every day.

Nature School - is a massive positive and the highlight of my child's week.

The manager is supportive and hugely reassuring and hugely reassuring to an anxious mum like me.

The children have the opportunity to take part in lots of fun, developmental activities which are often linked into seasonal variation. The nursery makes daily use of the amazing outside space and outdoor play is fundamental to the nursery's approach.

My son has been attending the nursery for 2 years and he absolutely loves it. We speak in a different language at home but his English is amazing, thanks to the nursery workers and the environment. It is a very small family-like nursery. It feels homely and everyone knows each other's names, across different rooms. I believe the care and learning opportunities, whether inside or outside are excellent. They always have healthy meals and snacks. This nursery is not the closest to hour house, but definitely worth the travel.

The Grange Loan nursery is based in the Astley Ainslie grounds, which is a wonderful setting - lots of rooms for the older kids (and toddlers) to roam about. Although the site is to close in about 5 years the nursery is taking an active part in plans to retain some/all of the site for the community. I would highly recommend this nursery - it's been fantastic for us and our son, and we look forward to enjoying it for a good few years yet!
