My son and daughter have been at HCCP since April 2025 and we are so grateful to have found such a wonderful place for them right in the heart of Bruntsfield. Having moved from Sydney to Edinburgh with no family/friends we have through HCCP found such a wonderful community here. The staff are child
led and extremely nurturing/understanding as I wanted to ensure that I could be present to settle them in and having parent involvement means that I feel like we are very much a part of the day to day which I really appreciate. For anyone not quite ready for full day nursery or those looking for an alternative to the traditional nursery setting (with shorter hours for the little ones) and looking for what I personally feel is the best setting for young ones, then HCCP is the best in Edinburgh. My eldest is due to start school in August and I know he will truly miss the HCCP practitioners and his friends. I don't know what we would have done if a setting like HCCP wasn't available here.

Holy Corner has been a wonderful place for us. Having moved to the area and not having family, the community aspect has been a dream. We now have pals for playdates and volunteering in the kitchen has meant I could see how my daughter was getting on, as well as getting to know the other children.
We didn't want full days but having a half day Mon-Fri has been perfect for our juggle of work and parenting.

My son has been at HCCP for almost 6 months and absolutely loves it. The staff are great and really get to know the kids and offer suggested activities to support their interests, stage and development.

We feel lucky to have found this setting in the heart of Bruntsfield. Our daughter was able to settle in slowly, with us present as much as we wanted and the team felt was helpful, and she has thrived. We were welcomed into a fantastic community and have made firm friends. The half-days are perfect
for us, and a great stepping stone for her to school hours.
