Both of my daughters have absolutely loved coming here and have truly thrived. The staff are incredibly caring and engage the children in a wide variety of activities. It's a lovely little setting with shared spaces and free-flow access to the outdoors. There's a great balance between indoor and outdoor play, including little excursions around the village and trips to the local park. They always come home happy - and that's what matters most.

Such a brilliant school and brilliant staff, my child loves the school, in just a month he loves being there wouldn't recommend any other school he has been loving it the staff have been very welcoming for him as he was scared to leave me and my partner but now is fine

The staff are what makes this nursery great, the connection they have with the children is wonderful and they are also incredibly supportive of parents. My little one started before Ashbourne took over and I was worried that it would lose some of the ethos it had as an independent setting. This hasn't been the case which I believe to be down to the strong leadership from the deputy manager and the very good luck that the new manager seems to share and promote these values. There is a lot of emphasis on movement, music, outdoor, creative and exploratory play which is obviously fabulous for development. My little person (and his friends) have come on so much in their care. I have had some issues with the wider corporation however the manager has been amazing at helping in these instances. (The star I took off for management was about the bigger organization, not the nursery manager). I recommend this nursery whenever anyone asks about childcare.

Our little boy has been attending Pebworth since 5 months old and we can't recommend highly enough. All staff have been incredibly caring and he has created some great bonds with them all which makes dropping him off a real pleasure as we know he is truly happy during his days there we couldn't feel more comfortable leaving him in their care. The communication is excellent and we are kept well informed of the daily activities. Access to the large outdoor space is fantastic and great to know that being outdoors and messy play is actively encouraged. Our son has grown in confidence and the new skills he has learnt are definitely noticeable. Very grateful to all who make Pebworth a friendly, nurturing and special nursery for our children.

Our children are very happy at Ashbourne Pebworth. The staff know the children very well and make the nursery feel like a home from home. There were a number of issues following the original take over by Ashbourne which led to a great deal of miscommunication and at times, stress and upset. I am pleased to say that since the new manager has been in position, communication has been much better and she is responsive and understanding. It would still be good to hear more about the children's learning with more specific feedback back at times, but I gather there is a parents meeting date coming up so hopefully we will hear more then.

Our children love going to nursery here 3 days a week The staff are really friendly and have built a good relationship with children and parents I would like to see more challenging maths and English activities for the older children to get them ready for school.

My son has been going to this nursery for 3 years, since ashbiurne took over they have been very good with communication and updates. My son loves going to nursery and is thriving recently as he gets ready to move up to school. Thankyou Ashbourne

My 3 year old and 18 month old started at Pebworth in January and I'm extremely happy with the Nursery. You are kept up to date throughout the day, the children partake in lots of different activities including forest school and there is lots of outdoor play. My 3 year old has already learnt a lot in the short time he has been there including how to write the first letter of his name! He loves all the nursery teachers and is constantly telling me how much he loves them and how kind they are.

This review is based on 6 months experience. Communication is really good. Staff is really helpful,friendly and work hard. Nothing it's too much trouble. My little one is happy and I'm happy too. Few things can improve like entrance. Would like to see front building more inviting and kids friendly.Looks bit tired. Would love to see lunches options in the future. Garden and outdoor space it's lovely! Would definitely recommend to everyone!

We tried a few nurseries before Pebworth - we wish we came here first! Our son is so happy to go in and comes home full of stories and beautiful creations. The staff are incredibly caring, and he adores them all. Pebworth has such a calm, loving atmosphere - it really feels like dropping him off with family. The management of the nursery is excellent. They're fully involved in day-to-day life, they know the children well and are aware of what's going on. Staff keep us well-informed, with time for handover each day. They plan exciting themed and immersive activities. Children enjoy access to school led forest school enriching their experience. The outdoor space is large - perfect for exploration and messy play! You can really feel how much the staff care for the children and how passionate they are about what they do. We are so grateful to all the team at Pebworth for making nursery such a special, nurturing experience - it's so much more than just a childcare arrangement here.
