My son has been attending Bloomsbury on the Beach since 2024, and we couldn't be happier with the nursery and pre-school.
One of the things I love most is how much time the children spend outdoors and involved in community learning. My son thrives outside rather than being cooped up indoors, and
the team recognised this very early on when he first joined.
The staff are truly amazing - they have supported my son with his learning and speech, and have helped him grow in confidence. Their care, understanding, and dedication really shine through.
Thank you to all the staff at Bloomsbury on the Beach.
We are extremely grateful, and I highly recommend this wonderful setting to other families.

The staff at the nursery are very attentive and work very hard to provide engaging learning experiences and a safe, encouraging environment. I can't think of a better setting for my child's nursery years than on the beach!

Our son has been at Bloomsbury on the Beach for around three months now and has had a great experience. He is happy there and learns a lot. I have been impressed by the amount of trips and activities they do, from trips to the park to playing on the beach, baking, cooking, yoga, dance classes etc.
They do something different every day.
The food is also good with an emphasis on fresh meals and plenty of snacks.
I am super confident in recommending this nursery.

We are very happy with Bloomsbury on the Beach and the staff. My son is settled and loves the outdoor time at the park and beach. He has made lovely friendships with both children and staff, and often talks about them at home, which is very reassuring.
The food is good and he always eats well,
though the menu has been the same for quite a while. The fees are competitive, and after viewing other nurseries, none compared to the Bloomsbury brand for us. Having previously worked in a nursery, I had high expectations, and Bloomsbury has met them.
The only minor frustration is paying for extras on unused or closed days. Overall, my son is truly blooming there, and the team has been fantastic in supporting his recent potty training.

Exceptional nursery. Our child has such a wonderful time here. The facilities and staff are amazing. Regular feedback provided from the staff about progress and development which they strongly supported. He had close bonds with them all and made some great friends. Loads of time spent outdoors which
he loved. Would highly recommend!

We had a wonderful experience with Bloomsbury on the Beach. It is not a cheap nursery (and we worried about the costs) but it was absolutely worth it for us and in the end it felt like great value - we couldn't imagine having gone elsewhere. The location is fantastic, easily accessible and great to
cycle to. It's a great space inside, welcoming and full of lovely things for the kids. There are lots of superb activities and outings and obviously plenty of time spent on the beach right next door. The food menu was great, with lots of diverse and interesting options to build interest in the kids.
However, the most important thing for us by far was the excellent nature of the staff. Our son was very shy and could be overwhelmed but we never had to worry that he wasn't being looked after and looked out for. Even though there was some turnover in staff, the tone was set by the manager and we knew that whoever was working there would give the children their all. A big thank you to everyone there!

From the moment we stepped through the doors, it was clear that this nursery is a special place filled with warmth and care. And locations says it all: lovely seafront with so many activities for kids to do and explore. Our Little girl is having fantastic time and has settled in so well.
The
teachers and managers at BOTB are amazing. They show great dedication, patience, and kindness towards each child, nurturing their curiosity and encouraging their growth. Kids are engaging in amazing trips and indoor activities like cooking soup and baking. The individual attention they provide has made a significant difference in my child's development.
The activities are thoughtfully designed to engage children for learning and fun. My little one has bonded with staff and peers so well and it will be sad to leave this place for her new adventure at the school.

I cannot express enough how wonderful my experience was at Bloomsbury On The Beach for the year that my twins were there. From the moment I first visited, we knew it was the perfect place for them. The staff was not only warm and welcoming but genuinely passionate about the care and development of
each child.
What stood out most was the caregivers truly made an effort to form a personal connection with each child and showed an unmatched level of patience and care.
Over the course of the year, I saw my twins thrive - not only in their social skills but also in their independence and confidence. The nursery's emphasis on early learning, socialising, and developing good habits has had a lasting positive impact on them.
I feel incredibly lucky to have found such a nurturing and professional nursery for my children. It was an absolute pleasure to see them grow in such a positive environment, and I am forever blessed and grateful for the wonderful team at Bloomsbury On The Beach.

Our 2 daughters attended Bloomsbury on the Beach Day Nursery in the summer of 2024.
They absolutely loved their time at 'mermaid school' and I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone.
The staff were fabulous, always friendly and had plenty of time to chat with parents. One thing I really
liked was the sharing of lots of photos - the communication was outstanding.
It's a great nursery, especially during the warmer months when the children are outside for most of the day.

We've been very happy with Bloomsbury on the Beach and most importantly, so has our son! The nursery is new and well-equipped with a great variety of toys and books that keep the children engaged and learning. The food there was healthy and tasty.
They regularly organise trips, as well as
interesting additional classes like yoga that add something special to the routine. One of the things we loved the most was the wonderful celebrations they arranged, such as the lantern walk to the beach, where parents could join in and share memorable experiences with their children. The staff are incredibly friendly and caring and our son felt comfortable and happy with them all. The location is another great advantage, especially in the summer, as it's right next to the beach and a playground, making it easy to meet other parents and kids after pick-up.
Overall, we highly recommend Bloomsbury to any parents looking for a warm, engaging and well-organised setting for their little ones.

I loved the fact that they took the kids out for exploration and outdoor activities. We miss everyone and we would definitely recommend Bloomsbury to anyone looking for a safe, stimulating, supportive and fun environment for children to develop essential skills, whilst having fun at the same time. The team at Bloomsbury on the Beach Day Nursery are wonderful with the children. They really get to know both your child and your child's family/important people. The manager always used to remember my eldest child and make a big fuss of him whenever we picked up my daughter.
It's little things
like this that make it a really kind, special environment. The trips and activities the children do are really rich and fun. I felt my daughter, despite being a Covid baby, was really social because of how the nursery integrates the children. It's a really special place that I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others. Thank you to all the team for taking such good care of my little girl.

We have three children and our youngest is at Bloomsbury on the Beach Day Nursery. She has been in a couple of other nursery settings and the Beach is, by far, the best one we have experienced in Brighton. She skips to school each day (she never says goodbye to us) and it's sometimes hard to get her
to come home! The team there, especially the manager and a member of staff, in particular, are absolutely outstanding. They sing songs, go on walks, do trips, make craft (and soup) and generally have the best time. We've experienced eight-plus nursery settings across our three children and we believe Bloomsbury on the Beach to be the best we've experienced. Thank you so much to the manager and team.

Bloomsbury on the beach is a Brighton treasure. The excellent leadership and incredibly lovely team have created a wonderful environment for kids right on the beach that our daughter loved going to. The kids go out for trips often to the beach & nearby parks and learn loads thanks to attentive
teachers who go the extra mile to make their days more special. The food that the children get is healthy & nutritious and encouraged our daughter to eat more variety at home. They were also amazingly patient in helping her through a tricky toilet training stage. We absolutely loved sending our daughter here and cannot recommend it enough to interested parents.

Our child is very happy and settled at Bloomsbury on the Beach Day Nursery. He is learning so much and is really encouraged to follow his interests. The activities seem really engaging and varied, with lots of opportunities to be creative and also learn practical skills. The staff team is amazing -
we have found everyone to be very kind, caring and nurturing. And the managers are very open to feedback and suggestions. The facilities and resources are lovely and seem well looked after. The lack of outside space doesn't impact the time the children spend outside and our child really enjoys the variety of trips that are arranged on a daily basis (these have included; beach, playground, gardens and parks, museum, bus rides, shopping trips). The food provided seems varied and healthy. Overall, we have been very happy with this nursery and would highly recommend it!
