View Full Details of Little Skippers NurseryWe couldn't be happier with our experience at LS so far. About a year ago, our son was close to turning 1 year old and, like most parents in London, we needed to go back to work and find a suitable nursery. We tried another nursery but decided that it wasn't right for us. Fortunately, we were recommended LS through friends we had made in our NCT class. We were given an induction period where we accompanied our son and helped him settle in. Since then, he's loved going in to the nursery. He adores the two people who are his key people at the nursery and seems to think of them as an extension of his family. Most days, he doesn't want to leave (which is a little tough for us!) but that is how we would want it. The nursery has varied activities and we are updated on these through pictures on the app. Staff are friendly and enthusiastic and all seem to know our son. We are about to leave the baby room, but I would recommend a visit here if you are thinking of a nursery for your baby.
My son is 3 years old and autistic and finding the right nursery was a real challenge, but my and mum are over the moon and very relieved to find such a gem of a nursery that caters to all our son's needs. The staff are really friendly and helpful and the nursery has a family feel to it, which helped my son settle in quite quickly and I could see his joy in the mornings when he knew he was going there. This is a boy who would kick and scream every time we took him outside unless he realised we were going to the park or soft play centres. Due to autism, he doesn't speak much but now he's coming back home singing songs and saying actual words. He even picks up food at times and eats it, which was a challenge throughout the last couple of years. We are overjoyed that our son is receiving all the care, love, and attention he needs from a very talented and special team of carers, two in particular. Three other members of staff are just a breath of fresh air to deal with.
