SHDC is just all round amazing. I have one child in pre-school who has attended since she was just 1 year old and she loves the setting. She's made really close friends and she adores the staff.
My youngest is in the Little Paddocks and has been in nursery for close to six months. Since starting
her speech is coming along, her attachment issues and reluctance to leave my side are slowly improving and she's coming on leaps and bounds in her beautiful little personality!
The care that both my kids receive is exemplary and I would recommend SHDC to any prospective parents :)

Charlotte had always accommodated for my daughters needs perfectly she helped me with figuring out how to use my free hours previously when my daughter was young and now she returns for the Holliday club in the half terms

My little girl has been attending this nursery for the past 2 years, her development and growth has been amazing.
The team here are always professional loving and caring and always ensure we know what our little one has been up to all day with regular updates and pictures.

My daughter loves attending Little Paddocks, the staff always greet us with a smile, take time to check any changes to routine and my daughter toddles in with a smile.
They have a range of activities including plenty of outside play and fresh air but her favourite activities are usually water play
or messy play.
If I ever need to ask anything they are always available either in person or face to face.

Amazing staff who truly car able giving children a great home from home experience and couldn't ask for anything more from them. My son has been going since he was 3 years old and I can't recommend the nursery enough

My two boys had a fabulous time in the holiday club. Staff are so friendly and great with my boys. Smiles all round. What a superb place. I will be using again next half term. Love that the food is homemade on site too with excellent variety and healthy snacks.

My daughter is very happy here,
She comes home with new skills and confidence every day.
She loves the daily time outside, also mixing with older and younger children during the school holidays
New foods tried, she is learning from peers and has opportunities to do activities that I wouldn't
think to do at home

Lovely nursery. My little boy loves coming! Friendly staff and lots of activities to keep the children entertained. They also go on lots of trips out to the park, shop, church and visit the village hall too!

Could not be happier with this nursery. The staff go above and beyond each day to ensure the children are well looked after and provide parents with regular updates.
My little girl loves going to nursery and has built a lovely relationship with the staff.
The nursery itself is very homely and
clean and has a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
The children are well entertained and do regular activities such as football and music bugs, as well as organised trips.

Brilliant after school and holiday care facility when my two boys were aged 4 until 7 years. School House has provided us with a vital service in a rural area. The only service of it's kind. With friendly staff, lots of activities for the children and a positive experience for all over a 3 year

My children have attended School House Day Care for a number of years. Right from the moment they walked in they have loved it there. It's a home from home set up, all staff are fantastic, approachable and supportive. The warm welcome every morning and kind and encouraging updates at the end of
each day, has always reassured me that I made the right decision. The healthy meals, after school and holiday club services they provide are fantastic. They are constantly looking to make improvements to the surrounding and experience for the children. The children have fun, learning in a positive, encouraging environment. I can't rate it highly enough!

An excellent setting with excellent staff! They're always extremely accommodating and their service is also excellent. The owner, is very hands on and easily available to talk with. As a Mum juggling everything, this place is perfect!

We couldn't be happier with school house day care. From the very beginning the staff have been incredibly friendly, welcoming, and clearly passionate about what they do. It's reassuring to know our son is in caring hands each day.
The staff at day care are warm and approachable, but also
knowledgeable when it comes to child development. Communication is consistently good and we are kept regularly updated on our son's progress, daily activities etc.
The setting itself has such a lovely, homely feel to it and our son loves going in each day and comes out very happy. Thank you to all staff at school house :)

Staff are always friendly & the setting is small enough to feel like they are getting the correct level of attention.
They also do school pick up / drop off / after school & holiday clubs for those will be going to school next door

My little boy is so happy here, the staff are attentive and encouraging and make him feel so welcome everyday. They offer a range of activities to keep the little ones entertained and keep you updated with any changes as necessary.

Absolutely fantastic Nursery! My daughter hadn't had much experience with being with anyone else other than me before she went here, she settled straight away and loves going to nursery! She loves her home cooked meals and all the different activities and outings they take part in. Highly recommend!

My son is in butterfly room at SHDC, and we highly recommend. They are fantastic with him. The girls always report how he's getting on and he's advancing so much since being here. We couldn't be happier with the care they give!

My daughter has attended school house day care since September 2022 and we couldn't be happier. Staff are experienced, warm, kind and fantastic with her. I trust them entirely and anyone who has children knows how vital that is when leaving your children at daycare. My son will also attend when he
is old enough. The setting is small enough that it feels personal and transitioning between ages isnt a big change as the children all integrate. I would recommend to anyone and are so grateful for all they have done for us as a family.

Great nursery that really care about the children and put so much effort in. Really grateful it's our local nursery. Home cooked food, constant change of resources, wonderful learning through play and one-to-one time with key person. Bringing out the best in my children.
