I have 2 Grandchildren who attend and have nothing but praise to offer
The staff are warm, caring and very engaged with children and parents alike
I know that my Grandchildren look forward to going and always have creative and fun filled days

My daughter attends Selca several times a week and absolutely loves it. She adores all the staff and has made some lovely friends. I really appreciate that they have an app, which allows me to see what she's up to throughout the day, and I always receive beautiful photos. I feel fully informed and
updated by the nursery which gives me great peace of mind.
My eldest daughter also attended Selca before starting school and she really enjoyed her time there. Over the years, I've noticed how much the nursery has improved and expanded, which is fab.
I would highly recommend Selca to any parent looking for a caring, engaging and well - organised nursery.

I couldn't thank the staff at Selca Pencoed enough.
My little one has had a little bit of upset settling in but the girls are so welcoming, warm and attentive, he now grabs their hand and happily goes in.
I feel total confidence in all of the girls but Blakes key worker Cerys is amazing with him
and has got to know him and his little quirks so quickly.
The app is updated regularly so I always know exactly what he has been up to and I am so impressed with the variety of activities.
Thank you again to all of you for your smiles and kindness every day!

My son has been attending Selca since its opening, and he is now 5 and still loves going! The staff are welcoming and show so much care and compassion to each child under their care. Any issues are dealt with quickly and satisfactorily. We only use after after-school club and the odd holiday days
but cannot fault the enthusiasm from the staff! Special mentions for the nursery team. Firm favourites in our house!!

Our daughter loves coming to the nursery every day. She has made lots of friends and loves all of the staff. Good value for money and good communication.
She is learning lots of new skills and her confidence and vocabulary is growing day by day. Highly recommend.

Since our child joined this nursery, we've seen him thrive in ways we couldn't have imagined. The caring staff, especially the highly trained nursery nurses, create an environment full of warmth, patience and learning. The use of Wel-comm assessments is brilliant - it helps identify areas where
children can grow and keeps parents informed every step of the way. Communication with parents is excellent: clear, consistent and supportive. You always feel involved and valued. And we can't speak highly enough of the nursery manager-her leadership and dedication are at the heart of everything. The nursery simply wouldn't be the same without her. We're so grateful for the nurturing start our child has had here! 4 stars for outside space because while the equipment is amazing, you can never have enough outside space for kids!

I am so glad we found out about Selca Pencoed from the moment we stepped through the door for the pool around to the first initial day of attending the girls have been nothing but amazing with them their accomodating , kind here's to many more years thank you girls

My little boy has been in this nursery since February. He absolutely loves it there and has started making friends there. Hes learnt soo many new skills, and his speech has come on amazing. He only goes one afternoon a week so far looking for him to go a bit more. He gets so excited to tell me about
his day. Hes also started eating many different foods that he hasnt touched since he was weaning!
They have a lovley little garden for the children to play in too. I can't recommend this place enough, the girls are amazing

The team is incredibly caring, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do. It's clear that they create a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment for the children. We've seen such positive development in our son not just in learning and communication, but in confidence and social
skills too.
The regular updates, photos, and communication from the nursery give us peace of mind and help us feel connected to his day. It's such a comfort knowing he's in such good hands.
A big thank you to everyone at Selca for all that you do we're so grateful to have found such a wonderful place for our child to grow and thrive.

Our son loves coming to nursery! His language and skills have developed hugely. The nursery team are welcoming, enthusiastic, full of energy and caring. There always seems to be a good range of activities on offer and lots of opportunities for play. I'd strongly recommend Selca Day Nursery -

I’m really happy with Selca, Pencoed. Each member of staff is absolutely lovely. They’re welcoming and happy every single day. They tailor what they offer to suit individual needs like no other nursery I know of. They’re incredibly flexible, accommodating and helpful, and always available to answer
any questions. They have a really big open hall which the children love to run around in and explore the different activity stations that are laid out. I love that they can burn off energy even when they’re indoors because the room is so large. They take the children out for walks in the village, to the shops and the park regularly, which I love. They use an app to update you on their daily activities and food that they’ve eaten, which is really useful, and it comes with a daily photo as well. They have been really helpful with figuring out tax-free childcare, the free hours etc, as well, so I can’t fault them.
