Our 2 and a half-year-old son goes to The Cottage and really likes it. When we ask him how his day went, the first thing he usually says is 'fun'. The activities are really diverse and the children seem to interact well together. The staff are positive and our son is learning a lot as well as
enjoying his time there.

My daughter has been at The Cottage for just under one year and is so happy there.
The staff are all fantastic and all the children seem to enjoy it.
The facilities are excellent, especially bearing in mind the limited space as the nursery is quite small. This doesn’t bother the children at all
though so don’t let this put you off.
Having recently moved up to the preschool class I am really impressed with how my daughter’s confidence has grown.
The children play outside throughout the year, whatever the weather, which I think is fantastic.
My second daughter is starting at the nursery next year - we couldn’t recommend it more highly.

Absolutely amazing nursery. Staff are lovely. Cleanliness is 100%. Loads of activities for kids of all the groups, lots of practical sessions for over two's. This week they're waiting for the chicken eggs to hatch. Over two's are being taken to the library every week and there are dance classes
every week. So, so happy with the way Magdalen Nursery and the staff have helped shape my child.

Our son joined The Cottage in September 2021 and we couldn’t be happier with our choice. The staff are great, they are very caring and keen on children’s development. A very good range of fun and learning activities, they also have external professionals joining for dance classes, and take children
out to the park even though they have a lovely big garden. We continuously see progress in our son’s behaviour and development thanks to the nursery overall environment. The food menu is very varied and they welcome parents suggestions on that too. Last but not least, their response to minimise covid spread was top. We are very happy with The Cottage!

We have been delighted with The Cottage since our son started there in August. My son has formed close bonds with many staff members, not just his key worker, and this is because each staff member has made him feel valued and cared for. Communication has been excellent, with online updates and quick
1:1 catch ups at pick up. Activities are varied and we’ve seen huge progress in all aspects of our son’s life. He is more confident in social situations, progressing academically, becoming more independent and exploring more foods. When he is home he says ‘ Mummy, I miss nursery,’ which makes me feel even more confident that he is in the best possible place.
I’d say The Cottage is a nursery with a ‘home from home’ feel. We have been so thrilled, we registered our second child before they were born!

Our son has been at The Cottage since the nursery opened and he was just one year old at that time.
The team are fantastic, they always organise a lot of activities and the facilities are amazing. We recently had a party to celebrate the first anniversary and I can say I was very impressed with how
much effort they put in order to create the perfect environment for the kids. All the rooms are very cosy and well prepared with a lot of books, toys and space for activities.
The garden outside has a very beautiful patio and there are a lot of small allotments for gardening.
I always feel reassured and safe leaving my son at The Cottage, as I know I couldn’t find a better place for my son to grow .
He has developed so much and this thanks to the amazing team.

Magdalen is a special place that should be experienced by all children. I could never place my child anywhere else and treasure the love and care it provides my little one. Within their care, she is nurtured to become a confident child who is happy to explore her beautiful surroundings with natural
resources and a curious approach. I am able to feel calm in myself in the knowledge that she is receiving the best loving care I could ask for.

Our daughter has attended The Cottage for a little under 12 months now and we could not be happier with how she is doing.
She looks forward to nursery every day, she’s learnt so much and we are delighted with her progress.
They provide fantastic daily updates using the parent app so we always
know what/how much she had to eat, how much she slept etc.
The menu is updated seasonally and we’re very happy with the mix of meals/snacks she gets.

Our daughter joined the nursery in Sept 2021 just before her 1st birthday and we have seen her grow with confidence and ability since that day. She is excited every time we approach the gates which brings a lot of relief to a first-time mother! The staff are diligent, caring, and enthusiastic. The
level of feedback on a daily basis is wonderful and the range of activities they put on throughout the term are creative, entertaining, and educational, even for the youngest children. We are incredibly happy with the nursery as a whole.
