Really impressed with the setting and staff - lots of great enthusiasm and entertainment and kindness.
Love that my son spends his whole day in outside as nature intended, it's made weekend walks even more fun and I love seeing him this and start to use his imagination more

my little girl absolutely loves outdoor owls, the staff are all highly trained and knowledgeable. they keep us updated regularly through updates, they do a range of different activity and adventures - I couldn't fault the nursery.

I couldn't recommend Outdoor Owls Nursery enough. The staff are all incredibly caring, professional, and supportive. They always go above and beyond to support my son, and it's so reassuring to know he's in such safe, capable hands. Highly recommended.

Outdoor Owls in Cobham is utterly exceptional. I'm not sure words can describe how happy we are that our son is able to spend so much of his time immersed in nature, and with such a wonderful team. As a very outdoorsy and nature-focused family, we couldn't wish for more. The thoughtful camp layout,
structure of each day, the adventures, nutrition, and learning is all enhanced by the beautiful setting the children are in, and brought to life by the fabulous team who work there.
It is difficult to refer to this as a "nursery" as it feels like an adventure every day for us and our son! Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts.

Our son started full time at Outdoor Owls at 20 months and we couldn't be happier with this nursery. It offers a truly unique experience to the children, who are outside enjoying nature every day of the year. Our son just loves his time there and is so happy running into the forest every day at drop
off. The staff are truly exceptional and go above and beyond to help the children learn and have fun. A really wonderful and unique nursery!

We recently joined Cobham Outdoor Owls and have been nothing short of impressed from the moment we applied for a spot. Our son is thriving and enjoying every moment. We just wish we had put him in sooner. The staff are all caring and engaged and seem to really care about offering a unique experience
for all the kids.

I could not think of a better place for my son! They went above and beyond during his settlement process, they were amazing ensuring all our needs were met. They are very responsive and although they have many children they give bespoke care to each child. We get very detailed report after each term
which is very helpful in tracking our sons development. Although we live half an hour drive away from this nursery it is worth every mile! Dont feel need to mention amazing environment they provide for children :)

My 2yo son joined Outdoor Owls Cobham around 4 months ago and it is the best decision I have made. He absolutely loves it - so much so that he often doesn't want to go home! He does all the normal stuff that he would do at a regular nursery (reading, playing with toys, painting, singing etc) but
also goes on adventure walks through the forest every day, climbing and jumping off trees, finding mushrooms and caterpillars (which he knows not to touch!), exploring the outdoors.
The staff are all lovely, we get regular updates with photos and videos on the app and a quick catch up on the day when we pick him up. The team provide a lot of guidance to make sure that we are prepared for the weather, with a kit list and recommendations for what he should be wearing. I feel confident that he is warm and comfortable all day even through the winter.
One downside is that he is perfectly happy to go and play outside whatever the weather - which I am not always so keen on!

Very happy, all around. Staff are incredibly friendly, all know your child's name, make a huge effort to make them feel safe and cared for. All day playing outside in a forest, with a warm yurt for naps and hot food. Recently started and already recommended to friends. Really very pleased we found
it.

Outdoor Owls Cobham Forest School is an absolutely magical setting tucked away in the forest. The natural environment creates a calm, inspiring space where children can truly explore and grow.
Since joining, my child has grown so much in confidence and resilience. The team do a wonderful job of
promoting independence, encouraging children to take on challenges at their own pace while feeling completely supported.
There is always a fantastic variety of activities and skills to try, all enjoyed in the fresh air. From imaginative play to practical outdoor learning, every session feels purposeful, engaging, and joyful.
A beautiful place for children to learn, thrive, and connect with nature. Highly recommended!

My daughter absolutely loves it here, and as a parent, that means everything to me. She is a cochlear implant user, so finding a setting where she feels understood, supported, and genuinely cared for has always been one of my biggest priorities. From the very beginning, every member of the staff has
shown exceptional kindness, patience, and understanding toward her needs. They take the time to communicate clearly with her, use supportive strategies, and include her in every activity with so much thoughtfulness.

My son has attended Outdoor Owls Cobham since January 2024. The staff are fantastic - engaging, kind and supportive and he has thrived there under their care. He needed some extra support with speech, and the team have been excellent in providing that support and keeping us updated on his
development to ensure we are aligned at home and at nursery. I just wish they continued to provide facilities for school years too!! Special mention re their focus on nutrition and healthy eating too - their menus are excellent and varied.

Discovering this nursery has been revolutionary. Our daughter has thrived splitting her time between an indoor nursery and an outdoor nursery. The team understand my daughter at such a deeper level than I have experienced at any other nursery. Her emotional and physical development has really
developed with the nurture and care the team have given. Couldn't recommend enough!

We fell in love with Outdoor Owls as soon as we went to visit and fortunately our son has really thrived since starting there in March of this year. It wasn't the easiest to begin with, as with most kids when they start nursery, but the team couldn't have been more accommodating and supportive. Now,
it's a struggle to get our son to leave at pick-up time, likely because of the energy and enthusiasm of all the team. We have a great relationship with all the teachers, who remain relentlessly positive come rain, wind, snow or shine, and have made it their mission to make our son as comfortable as possible. We've noticed a significant change in his demeanour, confidence and speech since he started and couldn't recommend Outdoor Owls more highly

During the two years our son spent at Outdoor Owls, he had so much fun, made so many friends and learnt a lot. All the educators were amazing and the best part was the daily updates. And we enjoyed the drop-offs and pick-ups which meant we could sneak a little walk through the forest. Sending our
son to a forest nursery was the best decision we ever made.

Outdoor Owls has been the best nursery I could have dreamed of for my son, I knew it was the right nursery for us as I immediately felt emotional when we viewed it!
The way they look after the children is so nurturing, allowing them to explore while encouraging play and learning just as young
children should, my child loves going and loves the teachers and friends he has met there.
I'll be so sad when he has to leave to go to school in September but I'll be sure to take him back for holiday camps!

My son was with Outdoor Owls Cobham for 15 months in the nursery school and I cannot recommend this experience enough! The staff have a great grasp of how to nurture little ones' social, emotional and cognitive development and the forest setting and nature-based activities help to foster physical
and mental resilience and an understanding and love for the planet, and its plants and animals. The children develop empathy as they interact with critters. The setting doesn't prevent the staff from teaching the children what they need to know to prepare for school, including working together in groups, raising theirs hands, starting to explore language and maths concepts, etc all enabled by the outdoor classroom. I always found that the children seemed content, stimulated and happy when I visited Outdoor Owls and I never wanted to leave to go to work! Thank goodness there are holiday camps so my son can continue playing in the woods on his school breaks.

Since my son has been attending this nursery I have seen a positive difference in his speech development and his confidence when being around others.
The dedication from the teachers is outstanding, you can see how much they care is more than just a job.

Our daughter finished at Outdoor Owls in August after just over two wonderful years in the forest. We couldn't have asked for a better place for her to spend her pre-school years. The level of care and engagement from the staff was second to none. All the staff seemed to genuinely enjoy spending
their days in the forest with the children; they are engaged, imaginative, kind and caring. Annie just loved all the adults in camp, they supported her through any struggles and were her biggest cheerleaders through her successes. Our daughter's confidence grew immensely during her time at the nursery, both physically and emotionally, and thanks to the outdoor setting she experienced very few sick days. Since starting school we've been really able to appreciate how much her love of the outdoors and wildlife has been cemented into her personality, thanks to her time at Outdoor Owls. We could not recommend the nursery enough and hope it continues to grow!
