Jack Straws Lane Nursery is an excellent nursery with exceptionally kind, responsible, and caring staff. Moving our child here was one of the best decisions our young family has made, especially after a challenging year at the previous nursery where he struggled to settle. What stands out most is the constant presence of genuine “sunshine” smiles on both the staff’s and children’s faces. In our experience, this reflects a wonderful positive cycle — happy staff make happy children, and happy children make happy staff. We also deeply appreciate how the team embraces innovation and nurtures each child according to their individual personality, which aligns perfectly with our family’s values. I firmly believe that this approach will be a cornerstone of our child’s happiness and well-being as they grow.

Jack Straw Lane has been such a welcoming nursery! The team are lovely, very attentive and have encouraged our child to grow in trust and confidence. The space is welcoming and the outdoor facilities are great.

I am very grateful to the staff for helping my daughter have a smooth transition into the toddler room. I am also very happy to see how she has become more sociable and enjoys playing and talking with the staff. It is wonderful to see her so comfortable and happy in this environment.

We are absolutely thrilled with this nursery. Our daughter has thrived here, and we feel very lucky she's had the chance to attend such a lovely setting. The staff are brilliant- warm, caring and genuinely invested in the children- and we've never had a single issue. The facilities are fantastic and the daily activities are thoughtfully planned offering rich learning opportunities through play. We especially love the time they spend in the woods, cooking over the fire, exploring nature and building all sorts of structures they thrive in their environment. We couldn't recommend this nursery enough.

This nursery is excellent on every aspect! My boy loves being there, sometimes its difficult to take him home. The staff are very caring, the activities are very engaging, and above all, the outdoor facilities and activities that are regularly carried out are outstanding. I'm looking forward to having my other one year old join soon. We love Jack Straws Lane and all the wonderful team that are the beating heart of this establishment.

We now have two children at JSL and we could not be happier with the nursery. Our children are happy and we know they are always receiving the highest levels of care. The staff are kind, engaging, caring and knowledgable, and the management are responsive and very pleasant to deal with. Overall, I can't recommend JSL enough.

Jack Straws Lane is the most wonderful nursery we could have hoped for for our son. He loves it here and they do such a good job of nurturing him. He's grown so much here and we are so lucky that he got a place here.

Jack Straws Lane Nursery is wonderful. We've been with JSL for 5 years (2 kids) and the staff are mostly the same which is a great sign of the place. Staff are caring and nurturing but also challenge the children to grow, develop and learn new skills. The kids spend a lot of time outside (rain or shine or snow) and go on little trips and outings. We couldn't be happier with JSL as the nursery for our children. We recommend JSL to all parents!

I am very happy with Jack Straws Lane Nursery. The staff are warm, caring and truly dedicated to children's well-being and development. Both my son and daughter love coming here, and its amazing to see their confidence and learning flourish. The nursery offers engaging activities and provides lots of outdoor time which they love. We are delighted with this day care. The team of childcare professionals is warm, kind and motivated. The facilities are pleasant, beautifully decorated, and include a large outdoor space where the children can thrive. The activities offered are varied and engaging, ensuring that every day is enriching and enjoyable for the children. I especially appreciate that they spend a lot of time outdoors, playing and exploring. Finally, the meals are carefully adapted to each child's needs. We are grateful to have found such a caring and stimulating environment for our child!

We are so pleased with this nursery. We have had 2 children go through the nursery and couldn't be happier. The staff are caring, creative, and professional. The children get to experience many different things and spend plenty of time outside. Would definitely recommend it.

We have had the most wonderful experience since our son joined Kids Planet Jack Straws Lane in August 2024. Our son has settled in so well and absolutely loves the staff especially his main carer. As a first time parent, I cannot describe the relief of leaving him with everyone in Jack Straws Lane, a home away from home. Developmentally, the staff have been so engaged with his progress and helped him progress. We couldn't be happier with our experience to date and feel very lucky to have a got a place here.

Jack Straws Lane is just excellent. Our first son attended from 6 months to school age and we are thrilled our second got a place in the babies' room! The staff are so kind and caring, treating the children like their own. We couldn't be happier.

We love this nursery! Our son is so happy every morning when he walks through the door. The team are wonderful, and the atmosphere is cheerful and joyous. The team work very hard to organise fun activities and trips for the children. Our son needed special assistance with glue ear for a while, and the team have been very skilled at attending to him. It's the best nursery!

My daughter is currently in the under 2's room at the nursery and is enjoying it greatly. She walks into the room with a big smile every morning and goes and hugs one of the carers there waiting for her. Not only is she excited to be dropped off but usually when I attend to collect her she is in no hurry to leave and wants to stay playing with the kids and toys, in particular when it's story time, she does not want to leave. She has learnt a wide array of skills and has grown independent. The staff are all so lovely, knowing my daughters name even when they are not in the same class. Her key worker is exceptional and my daughter has a very strong bond with her which started from day 1. A huge thank you to all the team.

My little girl joined this nursery when she was just over 1 year old. She is very attached to me and I was worried about her. As time has gone by she has a good bond with her key person and other teachers in the room. She settled in very well. Thanks to all the teachers in the room for their kind help.
