We've had a really positive experience with this nursery since our son started. Like many toddlers, he found the initial settling-in period emotional, and as parents we were naturally anxious but the team handled it with so much care, patience and professionalism that it made a huge difference for
us.
The staff took time to understand him as an individual, supported him through separation, and built trust at his pace. He now goes in happily, talks about his day, and clearly enjoys the activities and relationships he's forming there.
Communication has been excellent. The app updates and observations are genuinely reassuring and help us feel connected to his day. We also really appreciate the support with his language development (we're a bilingual family) and the collaborative approach with routines and milestones like toilet training.
Most importantly, the staff clearly care about the children. We're very grateful and would absolutely recommend this nursery.

I have two children attending this nursery and the care and education they get is outstanding! I had my older one attending another local one in the past, and only now I realise what I missed by not choosing Explorers from the beginning. I am very impressed with all the work they do getting them
ready for school, from learning numbers to learning the alphabet and writing. The other nursery had no such activities.
The staff is experienced and qualified and very friendly. They update the app constantly and parents are able to see what the children did, had for meals and so on, every day. I also love the fact they don't constantly feed the kids biscuits for snacks and avoid sugar.
As someone who has tried 3 different childcare providers with my first child, I can definitely say Explorers is top quality!

My son has been attending Explorers Elm Park for the last 4 years and it has truly been the right choice for our family. He has developed so well in such a nurturing and simulating environment and has come along leaps and bounds, socially and emotionally.
The staff are kind, nurturing and caring,
everything you want a nursery team to be. The team know every child's name, they communicate well with us parents and provide regular updates on how our child is progressing.
The team set up themed and fun activities every day and there is plenty of free play where the children can decide their activities based on their own interest. The children have regular garden time and trips out in the local area. The nursery often gets external partners to come and teach the children skills like music, yoga and phonics.
My son looks forward to nursery every day to see his friends and teachers. We would whole heartly recommend this setting for anyone looking for a great nursery for their children.

Our son started nursery shortly after his 2nd birthday, and it was a challenging time for both him and our family. He was very anxious, and the transition was not easy.
The staff at Explorers, Elm Park were incredibly patient, supportive, and understanding. They made every effort to accommodate
his needs, including adjusting his days and hours to help him settle in more comfortably.
Just two months later, the difference is remarkable. Our son now walks into nursery with a smile, looks forward to his time there, enjoys a variety of foods, and has started building lovely friendships. We've also seen a noticeable improvement in his speech and confidence.
We're so grateful to the team for their care and dedication during such an important time in our son's development.

our son has been in Explorers since he was 10 months old and the caring and nurturing environment is exceptional. We were nervous about sending him to nursery but they've made the adjustments so smoothly and look after him so well. They are quite responsive to his needs and ensure that they
communicate any changes to us in a timely manner. Loads of activities during the day and he seems well stimulated- on pick ups, he's very happy and chatty and usually has 'upgrades' that he's picked up from nursery.

I can not ask for more.
I moved my kids recently from a different nursery to Explorers and that was the best step I made. I love the fact I'm constantly informed about my kids daily routine, activities etc.
It's so important for parents to see what are their kids up to, it's a relief, less
worries.
The updates on their development it's so great, it helps us to see what needs our kids have and how to improve.
I'm so grateful to everyone at this nursery for all the effort they make and how kind they treat our kids.

Explorers Elm Park is sensational! From the moment we had our initial visit, the staff were welcoming and kind. This has only continued as our daughter has attend Explorers over the past year. The staff communicate well with parents, they are nurturing and nothing is ever too much for them. They
have gone above and beyond to help settle our child into a nursery setting. They come up with innovative and exciting activities for the children every day. They ensure that learning and fun is paramount for all children and I wouldn't want my daughter to go anywhere else. The manager is beyond supportive and will always listen to parental comments. I cannot recommend it enough and any children who attend are lucky to be there with such amazing people.

Our son has been with Explorers for over a year and the staff are all so caring and supportive of all the children. You get honest feedback from my child's day and celebrate the little wins he achieves each day. Great SEN support from all the team. I couldn't have got through without you! Always
listening and they have time at the end of the day for you. Never rushed at drop or pick up. Love the updates on the Explorers app. You see what he's eaten and photos of the days activities. They take him and his classmates out on short trips to the cafe, park and library and have themed activities each week. Never the same thing twice! Well done all round! Highly recommended.

Nursery staff are polite and always respectful at each contact. My child is always happy to go, never fussy when it comes to Explorers. You can feel the cleanliness in the air. I also enjoy the activities the children are given relative to their environment.
I wish they continued until primary,
mine will remain there.

Explorers is simply wonderful! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, creating an immediate sense of comfort.The staff are incredibly friendly and genuinely care about each child, offering a homely, nurturing environment where little ones thrive. The meals and snacks
provided are nutritious, fresh, and varied, ensuring my son gets all the goodness he needs. It's clear that healthy eating is a priority. I love that the children help prep and make their own meals and snacks where possible, instilling good eating habits and learning great every-day life skills. The daily activities are thoughtfully planned, providing engaging, hands-on tasks that really stimulate their curiosity.My son is always excited to attend! It's obvious the staff know how to balance fun with educational value. Communication with parents is excellent. We are happy with our child attending explorers. The staff are really welcoming, and proactive in addressing any concerns we may have. Communication is excellent, and they've taken the time to understand my child's individual needs and preferences. The nursery provides a stimulating and nurturing

My daughter has been going to Elm Park Explorers since October 2023. All the staff are amazing! They are warm and friendly and provide updates on my child's day-to-day activities and development not only on the site but also during drop off and pick-ups which is reassuring. They can be contacted
anytime via message/phone and are so responsive with the sole priority of keeping children and parents reassured and happy. Every single staff make an effort with all kids to ensure the transition between each year and class from 0-4 is as smooth as possible.

My now 6-year-old started here the first day it opened its doors and she loved it. My 1-year-old now attends and has done since he was 9 months old. I have all my trust in the ladies who look after him, he is loved within the nursery and I have so much confidence in the way they look after the
children I don’t worry at all. Thank you Explorers for putting my mind at ease having to return to work.

I can’t praise the staff here enough! They’re absolutely amazing! My son has been going here for longer than 2 years now and he’s so happy to go every morning. The staff are so attentive and welcoming. He’s always learning something new and his behaviour has improved massively since he started
attending the nursery.

What an amazing nursery I cannot speak more highly of it. Outstanding rating does not lie! All of my children have or will attend here as the staff, management and facilities are excellent. The communication with parents via app and at door pick up/drops is second to none. I would not trust them
with anyone else. They take on board any requirements your child might need, which was important for me in particular with food. Excellent support when needed, and as a qualified teacher the educational aspect of nursery is outstanding, lots of age appropriate activities and learning.

Explorers Elm Park is such a wonderful nursery, from the moment our little girl started when they first opened we felt totally happy leaving her, she was made to feel so welcome and settled very quickly. She comes home telling us what she has done each day with her friends and teachers (who she
talks about loads at home) she looks forward to all of the activities and especially loves the weekly phonics and sports sessions.
Our second little one is now settling in nicely after a couple of months, he gets great one on one time and feels very comfortable with Miss Emily, he always looks so happy in pictures and on collection which is lovely to see.
We do look forward to the daily updates via the app, it’s so nice to see what they have been doing, eating etc throughout the day whilst we are at work.
Thank you to all of the staff for working to a high standard and making our nursery experience a great one.

We're really happy with the care that the nursery provide and continue to see both of our children develop. Our little girl regularly comes home and talks about the interesting topics that she has learnt with her friends. She's encouraged to talk about her feelings and how to express emotions.
When
talking about what she has done at nursery that day, we love to go through the photos and videos that have been uploaded to the app. It gives us, as parents, a better idea of who she is engaging with and also encourages her to talk about her day.
In the few months our little boy has been attending nursery, we can see he is really happy and feels comfortable. We have felt at ease with his transition and have been kept up to date with his progress and dietary interests. He always looks very happy in the photos uploaded and the various activities he is involved in. Overall, we are extremely happy with the service and care that the nursery provide for both our children.

When I first enrolled my daughter in the nursery it was during covid and I was heavily pregnant with my second child from then on the nursery staff have been amazing support as well as friendly and pleasant.
Due to the staff at Explorers Elm Park I have managed to get on to certain waiting lists to
assess her suspected ASD without the help of the staff I feel I would still have not got anywhere in the diagnosis process.
She loves attending the nursery and due to how helpful and understanding the nursery have been I enrolled my youngest child before the age of 2 so he could also enjoy the nursery experience and both children love the setting and the staff

When choosing a nursery for my daughter, no others compared to that of Explorers Elm Park. We were very impressed with the space, facilities, resources for the children and the professionalism and friendliness of staff. We couldn’t be happier with our daughter's development since she started. We
love that she gets lots of different experiences, such as the weekly sports coaching. Every member of staff has always been caring, understanding and supportive of any needs or issues. Communication through the app is convenient and the regular updates give me reassurance. Most importantly, I know my daughter is safe and enjoys attending; she always talks about what she has done at the end of each session.
