I cannot rate or recommend this nursery more highly. Embley's facilities, regular well planned activities, outdoor space/learning and exploring opportunities (rain or shine) and learning & development delivered by quality stuff who really care, are very special. This is perfectly enhanced by the
recent appointment of one of the existing nursery teachers taking over as Head of Early Years.
As a stand alone nursery or as a feeder into the rest of the school from Reception upwards, Embley nursery clearly values every child's journey and the role they play in each child's every day experience. The specialist subject teachers (Music, P.E, French) and catering staff that the children see on a regular basis bring as much joy, support and learning to my child's nursery experience and the fabulous room teachers do. Embley nursery has fostered independence, encouraging curiosity, joy, learning, problem-solving and creativity in a safe, well organised, communicative and professional environment.

Our son absolutely loves attending this nursery and we couldn't feel more reassured about where he spends his days. From the start, the team have been warm, welcoming and genuinely invested in getting to know him as an individual. He runs in happily each morning, which says everything.
The
environment is nurturing yet fun, with varied activities that support learning through play. We've seen a real boost in his confidence, language and independence since he started. His key worker keeps us updated with thoughtful feedback, which helps us feel involved in his progress.
The team have been especially supportive with milestones like toilet training, showing patience and consistency. The nursery feels safe, well organised and full of happy children. Communication is always clear and responsive. We're so grateful for the care and kindness shown every day and would highly recommend this nursery to any family.

We cannot thank Embley Nursery enough for the care they have given our daughter. From the start, they showed a level of attentiveness and understanding that went far beyond our expectations. They were the ones who first noticed there was an issue with her hearing, before we realised, and they have
gone above and beyond in supporting her with glue ear and hearing aids.
They adapted the way they supported her learning in ways no other nursery had considered, and the difference has been remarkable. Her confidence has grown and her learning has progressed dramatically as a result. She feels understood, supported, and encouraged every day.
They have also been brilliant in supporting her temporary food intolerances, always ensuring she felt included and cared for. Since starting at Embley she has truly blossomed, and she genuinely loves going. We are grateful for their flexibility in supporting extra hours. Embley is a caring, nurturing place, and we feel very lucky to be part of it.

Embley provides an excellent space and environment for our daughter to thrive and explore the world around her. They give her lots of opportunities to engage with nature. The staff are always attentive and send us daily updates of her experience.

My child has a fantastic time at Embley nursery, he has been to a few nurseries which haven't been able to stimulate him enough.
Embley nursery days are never the same and he enjoys going to different rooms for different activities such as the music room instead of staying in one room all day.
The staff are very welcoming and nurturing, it's like home from home.
I'm throughly pleased with the nursery and what it provides.

Our daughter started at Embley nursery mid last year. She has thrived in the environment. The staff all know her really well and seem to care for her as much as we do.
The food is amazing, she always comes home with a full tummy! They seem to do a good variety of activities, they're often off on
walks and adventures in the amazing grounds and even go on trips in the school minibus!
We get daily informal updates from the staff and a written learning journey report at the end of term. We've not yet had a formal "parent talk" - in person or on the phone, but I think they are planned for this term.
I would recommend the nursery to anyone!

Our daughter attends Embley Nursery and I could not recommend it highly enough. Our older son attended a different nursery and I thought that was a great setting, but Embley has proven to be even better.
Our daughter loves attending Embley, she is naturally very shy and takes a while to warm up
to people, but she loves all the staff at Embley, they are amazing with her. She is thriving at Embley.

We couldn't rate Embley Nursery any higher. They provide a beautiful, safe environment for the children to enjoy, and learn in. All the staff members are lovely, and our daughter looks forward to seeing them. They allow children to thrive and really encourage inquisitiveness and thirst for learning
in creative ways.

Our daughter has absolutely thrived at this preschool. She's more confident with others and in her own voice. The staff are fantasic and are helping her to develop in all sorts of areas. The preschool recognise her individual interests and follow these, while also encouraging her to try new things
and build relationships. She loves it there and we couldn't be happier with the choice.

A very unique early learning environment for my son.
The staff are truly passionate.
This amazing setting allows my son to enjoy both indoor and outdoor learning to the fullest.
He doesn’t even need to tell me in words what a great day he has had.
I can sense it each day I pick him up.

Wonderful nursery with good staffing levels and happy children. My daughter loves it here, in particular exploring in the woods the special lessons from senior school teachers (PE, Music and French!).
The kids are encouraged to be themselves and not to conform to any mould and they learn through
play.

We love Embley Nursery. The children have a lovely time with friends and staff doing a wide range of activities. The nursery is well managed, there are rooms for different aged children but they do all get a chance to mix so are exposed to both older and younger children to aid development. They go
on nursery trips to the library and some of the country parks and we absolutely love the outdoor provision at Embley due to the large site with woods, fields and other interesting places to explore. My daughter is just 4 and has learned a good amount of French as well as numeracy, writing and some reading skills and so I feel is well prepared for starting at reception in September. The staff are amazing - kind, fun, caring, experienced and excellent at working with the children on all aspects of their development while keeping the parents up to date on progress.

We have recently moved to Romsey and were looking for a nursery for my little girl, I have been to other nurseries around Romsey but I wasn't happy with any of them. Then finally, the minute we visited Embley Nursery, they were very welcoming and the place is very clean and ideal for kids. I do
highly recommending to everyone.

My daughter loves going to nursery and she always has the best time! The staff are very attentive and pleasant, the activities are fun and exciting. Facilities are always clean and welcoming! The care provided is exceptional! To have a happy and content child after each session is what every parent
wishes for! The nursery definitely provides us peace of mind to us. We are all very satisfied and happy indeed.

We cannot say enough good things about Embley. Our child is thriving in the care of Embley. The staff are first class, and there is plenty of evidence of excellent supervision, management and leadership from the nursery team and those of Embley’s prep school.

My son loved all of the staff here. We found them knowledgeable, kind and compassionate. When he went through a tricky stage at home, they helped to guide us.
They knew what he loved doing and how to get the best out of him. The daycare is brilliant. So nice to know what they have been up to all
day and it was always so detailed.
I can't recommend Embley Nursery and the team highly enough. A truly nurturing environment.

My daughter started at Embley Nursery the first week after she turned 2. I had been so pleased each time that I had looked round that I signed her up to attend and was thrilled when her place was accepted.
It was extremely apparent from the very first time that I sent foot in Embley Nursery, that
the teachers go above and beyond to care for, nurture and develop the children within their care. Equally, the children absolutely love the nursery and the teachers and run in every morning, excited for the day ahead.
I was looking for somewhere that I felt my daughter would not only be safe, secure and happy but be proactively interacted with, taught basic social skills, a variety of activities, kindness and respect. Embley has done this and far more. I have never had any concerns at all about my daughters care and am able to go to work knowing she will always have a great day. I can’t recommend the nursery, staff and facilities highly enough!

Our daughter joined Embley Nursery right after she turned four years old, visiting five days a week. She was visiting another nursery before, so we have a comparison.
I highly recommend Embley Nursery. The manager and the other teachers doing a fantastic job. The children have fun and are also
learning; it's exactly the right balance.
Embley Nursery always gave us peace of mind that our daughter is at the right place and we could clearly see a change in our daughters development before and during the time at Embley Nursery.
