My son started in January and he has had such a wonderful time there! On the rough days there was always someone there to give him a cuddle and make sure he was happy again! It's so wonder to see how much he has progressed and all the new activities he's now loves!! He's always been a jut of a fussy
eater at home but since starting here he now loves all sorts of food! My absolute favourite time of the week is when we get his artwork sent home and the pictures from the week have been uploaded to the app! Friendliest staff and by far the best local nursery! I can't believe he's only been there for 3 months and he gets excited every morning when we pull up! Thank to all the staff for being amazing! Can't recommend this nursery enough!!

We are extremely happy with this nursery. The staff are lovely, caring, and attentive and it's clear they genuinely care about the children. Our child really enjoys going and has developed so much since starting. We feel confident knowing our child is receiving excellent care in a happy, nurturing
environment.

Our daughter loves going to Nursery. The staff are all incredibly friendly, and engage with her, even those who aren't directly in her room know her name.
We get regular observations, with clear explanation of her development, as well as her likes and dislikes.
She has built some really strong
friendships with the other kids in her room, as well as positive relationships with the staff in her room.
The communication we get from the nursery management is also top drawer. They are understanding of issues, and are helpful in resolving them.
We are really happy with Hungry Caterpillars!

Hungry caterpillars is such a reassuring nursery for my 1 year old, he settled in quickly and has very caring and loving key workers, my little one enjoys all activities as every day is different and interactive! Couldn't ask for better!

My son has been going to the nursery for almost 2 years and he has developed skills that I find sometimes incredible. From tidiness to playing every day there is something new he has learnt.
Overall the nursery staff are always friendly, welcoming and have understanding the needs of our child.

We first booked a space at Hungry Caterpillars when my wife was 3-4 months pregnant and the care we have had from first months in the waiting list until our son started at 11 months has been excellent. Our son has now attended for 9 months and the care continues to be excellent. He is very well
looked after by his key worker but all the staff in his room seem to know him by name, behaviours, and are able to give a full account of his day at pick up. Recently, he has gone through a phase of being more emotional during the day, and the nursery responded quickly to trial different strategies to help him with his regulation. They keep us up to date on the support he needs and we couldn't think more highly of High Wycombe site.

Lovely staff, fantastic management, and a lovely friendly nursery. My daughter has had a fantastic time here since she started earlier this year - staff did a great job at settling her in to the preschool room and the activities they do seem really engaging, varied and setting her up brilliantly for

We couldn't be happier with Hungry Caterpillars Nursery in High Wycombe. The staff are incredibly friendly, caring, and attentive to each child's individual needs. Our daughter has really blossomed since starting at the nursery.
Communication is excellent - we love the app that keeps us updated
on her day, including meals, naps, activities, and development progress. It gives us real peace of mind knowing she's in such good hands.
The nursery is clean, well-organised, and offers a great mix of structured learning and play, both indoors and outdoors. The team go above and beyond to ensure every child feels safe, happy, and included.
We've seen amazing growth in our daughter socially and academically since she started. It's clear the whole staff are passionate about what they do.
We highly recommend Hungry Caterpillars to any parent looking for a caring, professional, and outstanding nursery. Truly one of the best!

The best decision we have made is to send our Daughter here. The staff are amazing and so friendly. Lots of activities and we have seen our Daughter develop so much since starting here! The food options are amazing and the nursery definitely has a family feel.

I absolutely love the Hungry Caterpillar Nursery in High Wycombe. The staff are lovely, and I'm always confident leaving my child in their care. My child's key worker is very involved in their progress and keeps us well-informed about their daily activities. The food at the nursery is exceptional,
with no fast food or unhealthy snacks. They provide creative and well-thought-out meals with a variety of flavors.

What a lovely nursery. Clean and organised. The staff are all friendly and welcoming. You can tell each member of staff isn't just doing a job, but takes pride in their job. The nursery is equipped to an excellent standard and my daughter has settled in so incredibly well.

We honestly can't recommend this nursery enough! Our 1st child started during COVID, + even though we couldn't go inside, the staff made it such a positive experience. Now, our 2nd is still there + our 3rd will be joining soon!
The staff are so warm, caring + supportive-our children absolutely
love them + are always happy to go. The nursery has helped them grow into confident, independent little ones, + our eldest started school ahead in phonics + numbers thanks to what he learned here.
Communication is great, with app updates, daily handovers + termly parent meetings. Transitions between rooms are smooth, + settling sessions are helpful. Mealtimes do amaze us-how they get so many kids sitting/eating nicely is beyond us!
Management is epic! They go above + beyond to support not just the children but us as parents too. With music + sports classes, fun events + lovely leaving celebrations, plus great food + amazing care, this nursery is something special!

I couldn't be happier that my daughter chose this nursery for my 1yr old grandson. As a young single mum living at home, the support she has had from the High Wycombe team has been immense. From helping her untangle the funding forms, to tips on sleep, weaning and eating, plus the daily detailed
updates on his activities, learning and enjoyment, all of it has helped her grow in confidence as a young mum, boosting her self esteem as a complete equal alongside all the other parents.
My grandson is becoming a happy, confident and popular little boy who adores his key worker and he is clearly thriving in such a warm and stimulating setting.

We have been so happy with the care provided by the team at Hungry Caterpillars. They are so engaged - every day there are new and creative learning experiences. They are so thoughtful, supporting the children to make little gifts for holidays and events, that also allows their creativity to
flourish. Our little boy happily goes off to nursery to play with his friends, he loves spending time outside and with all of the toys inside. He knows he can always go to one of the team if he needs a cuddle, too! We miss him when he is at nursery but it is reassuring to know he is still well cared for, by a team who know him, care about his interests and teach him new things every day.

The staff are so wonderful at the nursery. My 18 month old is very shy, they are amazingly patient and caring with her and her key carer is now firmly one of her favourite people, she even features in 3 am night time talks. They have taught my little one to fall asleep independently and to eat, and
so many other skills and songs and confidence along the way. They are really lovely and I have full confidence in the team.

I haven't seen any improvement in my child since joining nursery. The issue is that my child is more advanced and has already learned many things ahead of time. Instead of challenging and encouraging further progress, the nursery strictly follows the curriculum, which has led to boredom. As a
result, my child has lost interest and now just plays with toys, before he was interested in learning, reading and exploring. I believe this nursery might be suitable for an average child. I've noticed that children who attend this nursery tend to lose confidence. Instead of gaining new skills, my child has picked up phrases like "What the hell!", "What's your problem!", and even swear words. This is extremely disappointing. While I can't place all the blame on the nursery, I believe that some of the responsibility lies with other parents who are not correcting their children properly and nursery should address it with their parents when they hear it/see it.

Hungry Caterpillars has been an amazing experience for both our daughter and ourselves as parents. They've helped us navigate our daughter's development (and parenthood) as she's grown - she started attending at 10 months and now at nearly 20 months she's just so confident! As first time parents,
the team and key workers there have been so supportive and we're so grateful to have such an amazing nursery close by. Her meals always sound amazing and the management team are so welcoming in the mornings at drop-off. The outside area is full of learning activities and games, I just wish there were more green spaces.
