Nothing but great things to say about Shining Stars, key workers are amazing! They go above and beyond to keep us updated throughout the day on general things and send posts & messages of activities the kids get up to. The nursery manager is lovely and is more than happy to have a meeting to talk/update on any comms that have been distributed! My son walks in & out of nursery with a smile every time, it's like his second home!

We've had an amazing experience with this nursery. The staff are warm, caring, and truly focused on each child's development. The environment is clean, safe, and full of engaging activities.What I love most is that they're not just there for the children they support parents too. As a first-time mum, they've helped me in every way possible, especially with my child's communication & dietary needs, which hasn't always been easy. We're very grateful for all the advice and support they've given, especially as he can be a handful at times.My little one has grown so much and comes home happy every day. A genuinely nurturing and supportive nursery Highly recommended!

I was trying to get a placement for my kids for the first time and it was so difficult, then I came across Shining Stars. First, I was very impressed by the reception I got from the manager, She was so welcoming. My kids were leaving home for school for the first time so my demands and expectations were high but shining stars too care of it. My kids are happy, when I come to pick them, they communicate better and can accommodate others within the same space. The staff team is amazing and I get multiple feedbacks about my kids and how they are working to improve. I will definitely recommend Shining Stars any time, any day. I would also want to ask for a possible price reduction especially when kids are doing long days, so more families can enjoy the amazingness of the service.

Fantastic nursery! All the staff are incredibly helpful and all the kids are well looked after. My son always enjoys going and is always learning. The staff and management are easily approachable and always happy to help.

My little boy has been attending the Shinning Stars in the baby room since he was around nine months old, and I honestly couldn't be happier with the care he receives. The staff are wonderful with him, and it's clear how much he loves going - he's excited every morning to go see all his friends! They offer such a wide range of activities, from sensory play to creative crafts, and he gets plenty of time outdoors, which he really enjoys. His confidence has grown so much, and he's tried a great variety of foods thanks to their meals. I'm so grateful for the loving, stimulating environment they provide. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this nursery to anyone.

We're really happy with this nursery. Communication is excellent - the app keeps us updated throughout the day with photos, notes, and anything we need to know. The staff are very accommodating and always willing to work with us on any requests or concerns. They offer fantastic sensory activities that let the children get messy and really explore - our little boy absolutely loves. The food is also great, and it's reassuring to know our child is eating well-balanced meals while there. Overall, a warm, reliable, and caring

Shining stars, Illingworth is such a warm and caring setting. My child loves attending here, the staff are all so lovely and you can clearly see how much they care. It is such a joy to see on the app the countless activities and fun that is set out each day, my child is very happy here and I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone!

As my child struggles with new faces, I was made aware of someone no longer being his key worker, she private messaged me to prepare for this and has got me ready for the change, the nursery always has my sons best interest at heart and he's grown so much since being here

My little one, who's nearly two, has been attending Shining Stars for a while now, and we've had a really positive experience. The nursery is always clean and well-organised, and I appreciate the quiet nap room - it's lovely to know the children have a calm, comfortable space to rest. The nursery also appears to have a varied, healthy food menu. The staff are warm and friendly, and I value the verbal updates I receive at pick-up - they're always reassuring and informative. One area that could be improved is the use of the app. Individual updates sometimes come through several days later, occasionally when my child isn't even in nursery, and there aren't many personal updates overall. It's always nice to see a happy photo of my child but even in the group posts she's not always featured. Another is that invoicing was a bit confusing to begin with. Overall, though, I can see that the team genuinely care for the children and work hard to provide a nurturing, safe environment.

I was very nervous to send my baby to nursery as she was at the time fully breastfed, loved contact naps and rarely settled for anyone other than mummy. But just a few months in, my daughter LOVES going to nursery. The staff have always been very warm and welcoming; my daughter has grown quite attached and now throws her arms out for the ladies in the morning drop off! They show lots of care and attention to the children and I love hearing what my baby has been up to and seeing photos of her playing and exploring. They have been supportive in my daughter's growth, always encouraging her movement and keeping me updated on her achievements. The team have always been really good at staying in touch, especially in the early days when I would worry, and making sure they know our preferences as parents. Overall, our first experience of nursery has been really positive and we would recommend.

I can't thank this nursery enough for everything they've done for my two girls since January 2024. The staff go above and beyond to make them feel happy, safe, and special - it truly feels like a home away from home. Each member of staff has made a lasting impact, showing so much care, love, and patience every single day. My eldest has an incredible bond with the manager, who's known her since she was 6 months old and now at 2 treats her like one of her own. It means the world knowing my girls are surrounded by people who genuinely care. The nursery also has an amazing app where you can see what your children are doing throughout the day, which really helps calm your nerves when you're apart. I'll always be grateful for the warmth, kindness, and support they've shown our family.

Beautiful nursery, as a disabled single mother the nursery has really brought on my child leaps and bounds she is so happy there and the staff got above and beyond to keep me as in the know about everything, as a disabled mum I cannot have my child with me all day as I am unable to look after her so having her at the nursery and being looked after is amazing, it is allowing her to live her best life as well as learning and molding her into her own little person, I owe everything to shining stars they help me to be a mother and I know that she is well looked after, I honestly can't fault them in any area I love the updates they give to me on what she has eaten and when she has had an observation so well done shining stars

Iv only always had good experiences with shining stars. My 1 year old is currently in the baby room. I'm updated all day with what my baby's eaten, how she's slept and lots of pictures to see what she's been up to during the day! The staff are so friendly and my daughter absolutely loves them. She adores going to nursery.

This nursery has been nothing but great to my child, and she has come on leaps and bounds since beginning here in September. She is much more confident within herself and has taken a fond liking to Aimee!:)

I absolutely love this nursery for my daughter. The staff here are kind, welcoming and so accommodating to my daughter's needs. As a first time mum I was so anxious about leaving her in someone else's care, but now, 1 year on, I am confident that she loves her time at nursery. My daughter has come on so much since starting, her language has really improved and her social skills around all her peers have also improved, she is now a social butterfly and I have the staff at Shining Stars Illingworth to thank for this!

Always been happy with the nursery having my current child attending now and my eldest attending many years ago too. Never had any problems as the service all the staff provide is impeccable. Both my children have loved attending to the point of not even wanting to come home when it's home time which just makes you realise that your children are in safe hands and attended to the way you would wish. Thank you massively for making such a great impact in my children's lives.

Shining stars is an absoloutley brilliant nursery. From the moment we walked through the doors, we knew it was the perfect place for our daughter. The atmosphere within nursery is so welcoming and everybody is friendly. The staff go above and beyond every single day, they take the time to get to know the children individually, making sure they feel safe, happy and confident. Our daughter has absolutely thrived since joining. Her confidence, independence, and curiosity have all come on so well thanks to the supportive environment the staff and managers have created. We're constantly amazed at the activities and learning opportunities provided, and we love hearing about all the fun she's had each day. A huge thank you to the manager who again, takes the time and gets to know each child individually which i think is fantastic. Big thankyou to all the staff team who make our nursery experience stress free!

I absolutely love shinning stars nursery, my daughter has come on amazing with her her speech and learning all her colours numbers and shapes including all the other learning activities as well and they are truly amazing with helping out with potty training when I started it with my daughter, she is always talking about what happened at nursery when I pick her up and always asking to go even on the days she isn't in!! They staff are fantastic, they are friendly, very engaged with the children's learning and emotions, and handovers are amazing with the details about what's happened that's session with your child!! The nursery but most importantly that staff give off and making it like it's very homely and loving!!! The manager is amazing as well as she is anlways involved with all the rooms!! Which is fantastic, recommend shinning stars nursery to any of my friends or people looking to put their child into nursery because that nursery has done amazing things with my daughter development

Both of my children have attended here ,and I couldn't be happier with the care and support they've received. My eldest had a wonderful experience here, and now my youngest is thriving too. The staff are consistently kind, helpful, and incredibly accommodating - nothing is ever too much trouble! It's clear how much the team care about each child's individual needs and development. My youngest is excited to go in on the days she attends, and it's lovely to see her confidence growing. the staff create such a warm, nurturing, and welcoming environment. I would highly recommend Shining Stars to any parent looking for a caring and supportive nursery where child is attending a home from home. Keyworkers create such a lovely bond with the children which is reassuring for parents.

My child has been at Shining Stars Illingworth since she was 8 months old and has loved every single day she has been there. She is currently in the toddler room, but has had the most amazing experience in the setting, and had fantastic bonds/ trust with her key workers, but also the other staff in the nursery. The app they use for observations and updates is lovely and always updated, all the staff are lovely, pleasant, kind and polite- even the owners couldn't do more for you if they tried. Really heart warming as a parent to know how happy your child is, especially as a first time mum. Could not recommend the nursery enough :)
