Fantastic staff who are always friendly and happy to see you when you arrive for pick up and drop off. Demanding job looking after children and never had a fault or issue so far. Have made our lives so much easier. Couldn't rate them highly enough. Our child is always happy to be there and always in
a great mood when we pick him up.
Food must be top quality because he eats it all!

Going back to work was a time that I was not looking forward to however the team at Cheshire day winwick have made this transition as easy as possible. The nursery and the team have been better than I ever could have imagined . The relief in knowing my baby is having a nice time with a lovely group
of women that are genuinely happy to see him each day and he is so excited to see them. He is in the baby room and I can honestly say he has the best time and comes home smiling every day. The ladies in the baby room are amazing and I never need to worry about my baby missing me because he loves them all so much and I know he has the best time . The communication and the app updates are fantastic. Shell and the office team are fabulous too and not forgetting the chef making my baby lovely meals every day. We love Cheshire day and it has hands down been the best decision we have ever made

Winwick Cheshire Day has been amazing the past 2 years, my little girl has many food allergies and Nursery has been exemplary in supporting her change in diet and supporting with creams for other medical conditions.
Aside from that, her development has also been fantastic, speech and language is
very good, along with learning and assessments completed, showing great progress. Photos of the progress showing the engaging activities both inside and out. The play area outside is lovely. All communication is well logged with updates throughout the day on the app. All staff in all the different rooms have been amazing and always happy to help or advise with any queries. Amazing setting for a great experience.

Cannot rate Cheshire Day nursery at Winwick highly enough, my daughter started kindergarten in September and she has come on leaps and bounds ever since. Sophie, Charlotte and the rest of the team ensure that everyday is filled with fun, laughter and learning and I couldn't be happier with how they
care for my daughter. The kindergarten setting has provided her with excellent educational development and no doubt set her up for an easy transition to primary school next September.

Outstanding nursery with amazing staff.
The attention to detail is so satisfying especially when you have kids with food allergies.
They go by the EYFS curriculum which prepares the kids so well for school. My first child is thriving in school now and it's partly thanks to work the nursery put
in. It was a no-brainer when I had my second that he would go here as well and so far he's also thriving.
They teach the kids a unique language program using signs, symbols, and speech which helps with speech development as well. The many activities they do with the kids help give them a solid social and educational background but also you can see how well the kids are cared for. I haven't had my kids in any other nursery but based on what I hear about other nurseries I must say we hit the jackpot when we discovered this one from the get go.
It might be a bit pricier than other nurseries but really you get what you pay for. They offer yoga, forest school etc but I understand you can opt out if not wanted.
I'm very grateful to the entire staff

Such a beautiful setting & team. Our son loves being there and I feel so comfortable in knowing he's so cared for & is learning so much.
The team go above and beyond to ensure the children are not only learning but having fun! My son has grown so much in confidence whilst there.

We are so happy with our experience at this nursery. The staff are professional, friendly and incredibly supportive, creating a safe and stimulating environment for the children. The activities are engaging and well thought out, and communication with parents is excellent. It's clear how much care
and dedication goes into everything they do.

My daughter's development has been fantastic since she joined Cheshire Day, after being in another nursery for 2.5yrs I'm so happy she is here. The facilities are wonderful and the staff are amazing. I know she is well looked after and learning all the time. She really looks forward to going which
makes me feel much less guilty about putting her in there and heading off to work! Would not hesitate to recommend

Firstly, the nursery itself is the best I have seen with an open plan layout, unlimited activities and toys and an absolutely incredible outdoor area for the children where they spend lots of time in the fresh air. The food is all homemade daily, and offers a great selection which my child
absolutely loves. Secondly the staff are absolutely incredible, my child has moved through rooms and received so much support during room transition to help him feel at ease and settle in. The staff spend a huge amount of time focusing on personal development and needs of each child and update you weekly what they are working in class and what the a focusing on with you child in particular, lots of learning and encouragement activities aswell as fun playtime. My child's development, confidence has been so amazing to see on the back of his time at the nursery and he is so happy every morning heading in with a huge smile on his face excited to see his key workers and friends.

£30 a day for food... for a 1 year old. Just a reminder, all nurseries receiving government funding must:
- Be completely transparent about any additional charges when a parent first takes up their child's free place, for example, for those parents opting to purchase additional hours or additional
services.
- Deliver the free entitlements consistently, so that all children within a setting accessing any of the free entitlements receive the same quality and access to provision, regardless of whether they choose to pay for optional hours, services, meals or consumables.
- Ensure that all parents, including disadvantaged families, have fair access to a free place, which must be delivered completely free of charge and do not charge parents "top-up" fees (any difference between a provider's normal charge to parents and the funding they receive from the local authority to deliver free places). The Quality of the teaching is great though.

My son has attended Cheshire Day Winwick since he was 11 months old. I cannot talk more highly of the nursery, the staff and the management. The indoor space is airy, with so many resources and activities to entertain and support learning. The outdoor space is truly great and staff ensure children
can go outside as much as practicably possible with large gardens and activities. The staff are warm, and enthusiastic and my son would happily go in, to the point that sometimes he looked genuinely disappointed when I showed up for collection! The transitions between rooms are very slow with multiple sessions to get them used to the move and some staff have moved with him which has provided consistency. We are now moving him purely to ensure he can get into the primary school of choice, however, I am genuinely gutted to have to do this. I think the thought put into the nursery and the commitment of staff to create a warm and inspiring nursery is reflected in their 'outstanding' Ofsted result.

Our son has attended Cheshire Day Nursery since he was 12 months old and every stage of his development has been supported exceptionally well by the staff. The only reason we have decided to move him is so he can attend the pre-school attached to his primary school.
The staff in every room have
been fantastic and he will miss them very much.
We would recommend the nursery and will send any future children here!

Both our daughters have had the most wonderful, enriching experience at The Cheshire Day Nursery @ Winwick. We have been so pleased with the standard of care and education that is provided by each and every member of staff.
The opportunities that are in place are outstanding, all of which ensure
that children achieve their ELGs. We will be so sad once our youngest daughter leaves next year!

When it came to sending our child to nursery, we viewed a few nurseries within the local area, but walking into The Cheshire Day Nursery @ Winwick - we just knew it was “the one”. We were anxious due to separation anxiety, more so from our side! But my daughter settled in so well - she now runs into
nursery and is so excited to be there which solidified that we absolutely made the right choice.
We love the layout of the nursery, there are so many educational activities and the staff are simply the best. I also agree that the outdoor space is such an added bonus.
My daughter has thrived so much in just the 9 months that she has been attending. I just know she will continue to thrive with the support from all of the staff who you can sense have such genuine care and compassion towards all of the children.
The food choices are great and they really take our daughter's intolerances into consideration.

A fantastic nursery. I had a really bad experience at the nursery my son went to. My daughter is really clingy and struggles to settle and trust. She is thriving at Cheshire Day, and loves going there. It is a testament to how hard the staff work. We are so happy with the provision.

I first fell in love with the nursery when I first visited, the environment was just perfect, I loved the open floor plan, the way in which the younger room were separate but not closed off - the outside was just an added bonus!
Not only the space was appealing, the staff are very friendly, always
smiling, the children were all happy/content and safe. I could see the toys/teaching aids all out for the children and activities looked amazing.
I can say that after my little one being there for 2 years, I owe the staff and nursery so much, my little one loves it there, they talk about the staff and friends with so much passion, I know they're settled and loving it! I believe that a lot of the skills they have learned have come from their teaching, activities and care they give to their development!
Honestly, it's the best decision I made to send them to Cheshire Day at Winwick.

Cheshire Day really helped me settle my son who was previously told he could no longer attend the childminders, as he couldn’t settle there.
I was anxious in the beginning, thinking he wouldn’t settle anywhere! They gave him reduced hours to settle and during this time they constantly reassured
me. He then began his longer days where my son began to settle quickly, with only a few tears when leaving him - which went from constant crying at the childminders!
I felt it was a massive relief that he was settling well!
Since starting he has come on in leaps! He’s developed both his fine motor skills and gross motor skills! I feel I drop him and he’s happy! He loves the food! He loves the staff! And when I see him playing there I’m so happy that he started at Cheshire Day Winwick!
What a fabulous nursery! I cannot recommend it enough to others! Thank you for being the best!

The nursery is fantastic. You are always welcomed with a smile from every room as you walk in. My son who is now in school attended Chesire Day Nursery from 12 months old, thoroughly enjoyed nursery from start to finish. He was well looked after and by the time he left he was more than prepared for
school. That is down to the wonderful staff, in particular one member of staff.
My other son is currently in the baby room and has settled in wonderfully. He is breastfed and struggled with separation at first. One member of staff in particular and the team have been so caring and supportive. I couldn't have asked for more. He really struggled with food and barely ate a thing before starting CD. A particular member of staff's persistence and care have been integral in the leap to now eating 3 meals a day (and then some). The staff love and care for the children so much, it's like a home from home.
The manager and another member of staff are always visible in the setting. Always happy to chat in person or over the phone/email. I always get a prompt response to questions. Amazing.

A fantastic nursery. I had a really bad experience at the nursery my son went to. My daughter is really clingy and struggles to settle and trust. She is thriving at Cheshire Day, and loves going there. It is a testament to how hard the staff work. We are so happy with the provision.
