Such a fantastic nursery can't fault the staff and there care. My son has been going here since he turned 1 and this week he turns 4. The nursery and staff have really helped my son with his confidence and communication skills and he is such a bright happy boy. So glad I chose this as his nursery.

Fabulous management and staff, very friendly and genuine care for the kids. They have a wide variety of activities every day and the kids build a positive bond with staff. End of the day feedback to parents is reassuring and kids are encouraged to do their best always. Would recommend it to others.

My daughter has been at Yellow Penguin for over a year now. We had tried 2 other nurseries around us but finally found peace of mind here. She's happy, safe, adjusting well and learning. The teachers and assistants have all been lovely and we feel happy leaving our child in their care. She looks
forward to going to nursery and she's only 2!

I can't recommend Yellow Penguin Nursery enough. It is truly outstanding in every possible way. My son absolutely loves it there. He never wants to leave. He clings on to the nursery staff with huge smiles.
I feel at ease and reassured when he is there knowing that he is in safe hands. It is clear
that they take safeguarding very seriously. There was a recent message reminding parents not to open the gate for anyone for example.
At home, any mention of nursery staff and my son's face would light up and he starts to look around for them and starts singing.

Outstanding level of care. We've had 3 children under the care of Yellow Penguin, and they all loved it. The staff and facilities are great, and the kids love it and are thriving. Would happily recommend it to anyone!

My child is 22 months old, and in the baby room.
He has been attending for roughly 9 months and in that time he has had amazing care provided by staff.
The staff are really attentive, caring and pay attention to detail. Both wonderful ladies!
They provide fun activities for the children and
update the app often, so we are aware of what is going on throughout the day.
I feel my son has developed really good relationships with both of these workers, and I see staff from toddler/pre-school interacting with him often too, and they seem positive and upbeat.
Overall I have no concerns when leaving my son and I am happy with the progress he is making and developing his all round skills.
Thanks to all the staff, keep up the hard work.

My son loves coming to nursery. The whole team who look after him, especially two staff members in particular really are so attentive and caring. Even from
our first few weeks when we were nervous and so was he they always put our mind at ease and rest. Another staff member always checks in with us
and our son and is very understanding especially when we are new to it all. Even updates on the app and what he's been up to put our minds at ease. We've really noticed a development as well. Couldn't recommend enough.

We looked at several nurseries, with Yellow Penguin being first on our list. From our initial conversations to the first visit, it set a benchmark that was not raised by any other nursery we visited. Our daughter immediately felt at home with and welcomed by and curious about Yellow Penguin, its
staff, other children and its resources, more so here than at any other nursery. It was a place that all three of us immediately took to.
While there have been occasions where our daughter has been upset (as will any child) she has formed a very close bond with her primary carer and other teachers in her pre-school group. She is cheerful when we pick her up, the staff are wonderful with her and understanding, flexible and accommodating of her needs. Yellow Penguin provide our daughter with a stimulating and caring environment that we are comfortable leaving her in. It takes the worry out of your day knowing one of the most important people in your life is being very well cared for.

My daughter has been at Yellow Penguins for just over a month. The induction process was a little disappointing as it required me to chase the setting several times for start dates, session times etc. My daughter has settled in really well and the staff who care for her are fantastic. She is really
becoming more confident and looks forward to going to nursery every day to see her friends. The communication on the app is great and the key workers send us lots of updates about her day, what activities she’s enjoyed and how she’s eaten. Three staff members in particular are amazing! They always have a smile on their faces during drop off and pick up and are really welcoming to my child. They’re able to tell me what activities she’s enjoyed during the session and it feels like my child is really cared for at Yellow Penguin which is really reassuring as a parent!

I am happy with the quality of Yellow Penguin Nursery. My daughter started attending when she turned 2. She's 3 years and 6 months now and her communication, social skills have ready improve. This nursery teaches etiquette and the are amazing overall. The staff are warm and friendly.
When I have
concerns I let me management know and this is sorted.

A wonderful nursery with staff members who are genuine, polite and supportive. My daughter has reached her developmental milestones and more through the activities, teaching and support from Yellow Penguins.
In addition, communication is always at a high standard. For example in the evening
handovers are always given in full detail which is what I appreciate the most!
Overall, this is a trustworthy nursery that always goes the extra mile to ensure that all children are getting the most out of their learning and play.

I have seen improvements in my child after enrolling in this daycare. Rooms are spacious and have a decent number of kids and they are not too congested. Wonderful staff. Good facilities. I would recommend this daycare.

My son has been attending Yellow Penguin Nursery since August 2022 after we relocated to Birmingham. I was nervous that it would be a big transition and he would not like it, but the Yellow Penguin team were excellent in making the transition easy and my son settled in really fast. He loves
attending and has developed good attachment to the practitioners and has made lots of friends with his peers. The focus on preschool education is great and my son is developing all the core skills he needs for starting school in September. The food is nutritious and tasty, my son always tells us that the food at nursery is great. They have fun days in which they have fancy dress competitions and they have lots of activities for the kids. The safeguarding is good, the building is modern and safe, the fees are reasonable, communication between staff and parents is good. I genuinely can't think of anything bad to say about Yellow Penguin. I encourage parents looking for a new nursery to see for themselves.

We really struggled to find a place for our son to attend. This was one of the very few we actually felt comfortable leaving my son.
He has come on leaps and bounds since starting. His speech has improved and his even eating new foods. The staff is great with him and he would happily stay overnight
if he could.
Could not ask for a better establishment. Glad we managed to secure a place.

I have intentionally waited a few months before I submitted my review. My daughter started back in November and I was very worried as she had not spent much time away from me or her father, but the nursery staff made me feel so comfortable and reassured that she would be fine. The first few weeks
she cried daily, but the nursery really supported me in the transition and even suggested that I change from full day to half day for the first couple of weeks. They really took the time to help my daughter settle in and I feel like they gave the 1 to 1 support she needed.
Now my daughter goes in running as soon as she sees the nursery and she loves all the staff. She always has a smile on her face as soon as she sees any of them, especially her key worker.
I highly recommend this nursery. The improvement in my daughter is amazing. For a central Birmingham based nursery, the cost is very reasonable and you won't get anything cheaper for the level and quality of this nursery in Birmingham.

My son loves coming to this nursery! All staff members are so lovely and are amazing with the kids. It's a very nice environment and staff communicate effectively on how my son's day has been. He has learned so much and developed his social skills since attending the nursery. It puts my mind at ease
whilst at work knowing that my son is being looked after by great staff and I know he is in safe hands. I always pick him up with a big smile on his face and great feedback. 100% recommend this nursery!

My daughter has been attending Yellow Penguin since August 2018 when she was just 7.5 months old. I was very apprehensive about leaving her but the staff at Yellow Penguin ensured she settled in well. We have seen a lot of positive changes in the last couple of months with staff receiving excellent
training and the baby room being equipped with lots of new sensory and learning aids. My daughter is excited at every drop off to see her key worker. The staff always inform me of her day and what she has eaten, which is always good balanced food. I would definitely recommend yellow penguin as the staff truly care about the children and parents alike.

Yellow Penguin has given me a huge peace of mind when it comes to my child care needs. My child has come out of her shell since attending the nursery thanks to the staff and management team. Excellent service. 10/10.

My son and myself both love this nursery. The staff are amazing with the children and parents. Love that the app provided by the nursery allows me to stay updated on my son’s activities throughout the day. The nursery is always spotless, the food menu is amazing.
I was worried when my son first
started but he has adapted so well. I can’t thank the nursery enough.
