Both my children attended Anouskas at The Grove over the period of 2020 to July 2025 and I can safely say that they have been given a wonderful start to their lives courtesy of the experience and care that they received from The Grove. The staff make the place what it is and throughout their journeys, they have had unbelievable support from key workers and other staff. The facilities and clean and spacious and the outside space also benefits from its location nestled in the delightful surrounds of The Grove. We were always impressed by the communication and curriculum offered and would recommend to any parent.

My son went to Old MacDonald's Day Nursery Anouska's when he was just 6 months old and they have been incredible for both of us when I was nervous about leaving him so young. He's never once cried being dropped off, he truly loves it there. The team are professional and dedicated to the children's development. He learnt to crawl, walk, use cutlery, and now talk all under their care and he has blossomed into a very social little boy. They are meticulous in looking after the children's' safety, and when my son had an anaphylactic reaction over Christmas, they handled it so well when he returned to nursery and continue to do so. When I ask him who he played with today, more often than not he mentions one of the team rather than another child. I know he's in safe hands and best of all, he is happy.

My daughter joined the nursery shortly after we moved from France last year, and it really helped her to settle into her new environment. The nursery has done a wonderful job supporting her development - she was learning something new every day and built such a positive experience. The staff have always been kind, caring, and supportive, and we are truly grateful for all their efforts. I can tell that my daughter was very sad to leave because she missed her friends and all her nursery teachers. A great nursery - highly recommended.

Their first year has been excellent, our little one loves the nursery. We get regular updates daily on what they've been up to. The team always have time at drop off & collection to offer an update on how they're doing.

I cannot thank the whole team enough the care and attention that my daughter has received in the last 3 years is second to none. She has been in Old MacDonald's Day Nursery Anouskas since she was one and has turned into a very happy bright young girl she loves going to nursery and enjoys every activity they have created. Everyone has been amazing and I would recommend to anyone with a child looking for a nursery.

Old MacDonald's Day Nursery Anouska's Lodge is a truly wonderful nursery. There is always so much for the children to do, and every time we drop off or pick up the kids all look so happy and content. My little girl had such a great induction experience to help her settle and was so welcoming to both of us. We receive regular updates throughout the day, and you can tell that the staff genuinely care for your child - they give personalised feedback on how my little girl has been during the day, which means so much. The food is excellent and changes lots, and the setting feels warm and welcoming. The staff and manager are absolutely fantastic - caring, professional, and with a genuine rapport with the children and families. Most importantly, my little girl absolutely loves going, which says it all. She's missed them all this summer and can't wait for September!

I've had 2 children in this setting over the last 6 years and have had a brilliant experience. Even when things weren't perfect (nothing ever is!) I felt heard, considered and included in every aspect of care offered for my little ones. I would highly recommend Old MacDonald's Day Nursery Anouska's for their incredible approach to care, how they nurture the children, the setting itself (regular walks in the woods is not something that you can find elsewhere) and brilliant staff and management teams.

Can't recommend Old MacDonald's Day Nursery Anouskas enough! As a first time parent it was nervous time for us leaving our little one for preschool especially as it was his first time being away from us to be cared by someone else/ others but the care and professionalism from the staff is above and beyond. He started as such a nervous boy but is now is leaving with so much confidence with a huge love for all of his key workers the best memories and new skills which we couldn't have achieved without all the staff there. We are so sad to leave that place but we will continue to recommend this place to everyone we know!!!

A brilliant nursery, lovely indoor and outdoor facilities and really caring staff, many who have been with the nursery the whole time our children have attended. They love going into nursery every day, there are so many fun activities and they learn a lot too. We couldn't ask for anything more.

Great experience so far, the staff are so helpful, caring and supportive. My son started last year September and has settled really well. He is always happy to go into the nursery and I'm grateful for the care given. Overall, very pleased.

Both of my children have attended Anouska's Day Nursery, and my youngest is still there - and I honestly couldn't be happier with the care they've received. From the very beginning, the nursery has provided a warm, welcoming environment where my children have felt safe, happy, and truly at home. One of the highlights for me is receiving daily pictures and updates of what my child has been up to. It's so reassuring to see him enjoying himself, learning through play, and making the most of the beautiful surroundings of The Grove. The staff at Anouska's are exceptional - they build such strong, nurturing relationships with the children. This has given me great peace of mind knowing that my son is not only well cared for but also supported to thrive emotionally, socially, and developmentally. The nursery also offers a great selection of nutritional meals which I know is of great importance! Would highly recommend Anouskas 10/10

The fact our daughter skips into nursery every morning says it all! She thoroughly enjoys her fun filled days there and has such a great relationship with all of her carers and key persons. The team always give us detailed end of day reports, share anecdotes from the day and provide an excellent quality of care, alerting us to any issues, accidents or concerns as they arise. It's such a great relief to know our daughter is in great hands and is building happy and healthy relationships with her friends and carers alike.

Both myself & my partner are so happy with our daughter's first year at Anushkas. It has been such a positive experience for all of us from attending the settle in sessions to attending 3 days a week. All the nursery staff have been extremely approachable & helpful with any questions we have had. We are so happy with the amount of feedback we receive at the end of each day & absolutely love the app used to keep us informed of her daily updates. It is always a joy dropping her off & seeing her so excited to start her day.

I cannot speak highly enough of Old MacDonald's Day Nursery Anouska's. This nursery is miles ahead of any other nurseries we have had experience of. Every single member of staff really cares for the children. They go above and beyond to make the days different and interesting for them - from walks in the woods, the easter bunny and an elf coming to visit, to themed days and weeks. The older children even do a nativity. The setting is beautiful, the rooms are light and bright with free-flow access to outdoor play areas. But the main thing is the staff - they go to tremendous effort to make Anouska's an incredibly special place to give your child a start in life. The affection and genuine care the baby room staff show for our son is incredible and the pre-school room prepared our daughter and her friends so well for school that they all transitioned easily. The office staff and management are experienced and conscientious. It is a tremendous place. We are so grateful our children have this special place to go to every day.

My son has been attending Old MacDonald's Day Nursery Anouskas since he was 10 months old and he is now 4. He has absolutely thrived here and looks forward to attending. He has great relationships with all the staff who are so friendly and caring. As a mum, it's such a comfort to know that he is well taken care of whilst I am at work as well as the fact he enjoys it so much. The team are also extremely supportive to parents and the communication is excellent. The environment is engaging and inviting and the food the children are served is nutritious and varied. Overall I would highly recommend it!
