This nursery is just so wonderful. The staff are so caring. I was worried when my son started as he was very clingy but they supported him so well. They do so many 'extra curricular' activities, forest walks regularly, library trips, yoga, dance, football, basketball! The staff are genuinely caring, nurturing and supportive. Responsive. The update the app regularly with lovely photos and written updates with personalised observations. Moving from a nursery that sent generic feedback before that was super impersonal this was a breath of fresh air! Would highly recommend it's done wonders for both my boys.

Enroling our daughters at Gilwell Hill has been one of the best decisions we've made. Our girls have thrived and loved every minute of their experience. The staff and the environment they create is what makes this place special. I couldn't recommend the nursery enough.

Very friendly staff creating a safe environment for the children to develop. Our little one comes home and amazes us every day with something new from the nursery. Nursery has been supporting us in our child's development from the first day and has always given great feedback to help enhance progress when our little one is at home. Keep up the amazing work, we are very grateful for it!

My daughter has been attending this nursery since 2023, and I honestly couldn't be happier with the care and support she's received. In such a short time, she has grown in confidence, made lovely friendships, and learnt so much. It's amazing to see how her speech, social skills, and independence have developed. The staff are so kind, patient, and genuinely care about each child's progress. They always take the time to share little updates about her day and the new things she's tried or achieved. It's such a warm, welcoming environment and I feel completely at ease knowing she's happy, safe, and thriving there. I'm so proud of how far she's come since starting nursery, and that's all thanks to the fantastic team. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this nursery to other parents.

All three of my children have attended this nursery first my two daughters, and now my son and I couldn't be more pleased with the experience. The nursery itself is warm, welcoming, and beautifully maintained. The staff are not only highly trained and professional, but also genuinely compassionate and attentive to each child's needs. My son absolutely loves going and is always excited on the days he attends. I wholeheartedly recommend this nursery to any parent looking for a safe, nurturing, and high quality early learning environment for their child.

My children have been attending this nursery since they were ten months old, and now they're four years old. Over these years, the nursery has been a fantastic support for their learning, social skills, and overall development. The staff are incredibly patient, understanding, caring, and loving. It's clear they truly value each child. The food provided is fantastic, and the range of opportunities and activities is amazing. My boys absolutely love the outings to the woodlands and the library, and are very excited for sports day, and the graduation ceremony. All of which create such special memories and bring a sense of community. The nursery also has great links within the local community, which really enhances the children's experiences. I couldn't recommend this nursery more highly. It's a nurturing, supportive, and engaging environment where children thrive.

Gilwell Hill is an amazing nursery. My son is really enjoying his time there and learning so much. They offer a wide range of additional classes such as yoga, basketball, football, and phonics. All of the staff are wonderful and truly do their best to support children's development.I am so pleased that I have choosen Gilwell Hill nursery!

Lovely nursery. The staff are friendly, caring and kind. My 2 year old loves his key workers and are always excited to see them. I can see the milestones he is reaching with their help and we get regular updates on his development via personal feedback or the app. It makes me so happy to see pictures of him playing with his friends and how happy he looks. He eats so well at nursery too and the menu includes a variety of healthy dishes and snacks. Can't be happier to send my boy here

A Wonderful Nursery That Feels Like Family! We couldn't be happier with this nursery. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely caring - it truly feels like a second home for our son. The environment is always spotless, the food is fresh and healthy, and the learning activities are creative, fun, and purposeful. My child has been attending this nursery since she was 6 months and she's 3 years old. She absolutely love the nursery.The staff are so good and always making sure they inform you everything. She loves her teachers.

This nursery is outstanding. We viewed several nurseries (most of the others were part of large chains) and this nursery is on a different level. The level of care, love, kindness and attention shown to my son by the staff is amazing. The quality of activities is excellent. My son had no trouble settling in and seems to feel completely at home at the nursery and is very happy there. We feel very lucky to have found such a wonderful place for our son to go. We are both teachers and know how difficult it can be working with the children - a very demanding job both physically and emotionally but nothing seems any trouble for the staff here. Thank you!

Our daughter has been going to Gilwell Nursery for over a year now, and we are extremely pleased with the weekly activities, celebrations, and the care and attention that the staff provide. She has grown in confidence, and we are particularly happy with the personal level of care and attention that she receives.

Our little boy has the best time at Gilwell Hill, he settled in and adores the staff. We know he has so much fun there and is always well cared for. He loves the food, activities and staff! Couldn't ask for more from a nursery to know he is safe and more importantly very happy when he is there. Highly recommend to all.

Dearest Gilwell, our twins have attended this nursery for over four years full-time. We love the staff so much for all the encouragement, support and teaching they have given. This nursery is simply incredible! Our sons can count to nearly one hundred and sometimes more. They can certainly write their alphabet and read very well indeed. They love their nursery, but today was their last day, as next week they start school. The nursery have taken so much care and time with the twins. When they have been asleep in car on the way, staff have carried them safely inside. All the wonderful staff have made our children who they are today: kind, loving, empathetic towards others and always wanting to learn more. They will miss their teachers and friends terribly. The nursery have done amazing birthdays for our boys and the photos have been beautiful. Their learning journey is quite extraordinary. We are hugely indebted and forever grateful.

I would not hesitate in recommending Hillhouse Nursery to anyone. My son has spent a very happy 3 and a 1/2 years in their fantastic care, joining when he was 6 months old. All the staff there are very caring, patient and do their utmost to ensure both you, the parent, and your child are happy. My son is starting primary school in September and he is more than ready, he knows all his colours/shapes, can count to 20, and is doing great with his ABC. They teach the children in a fun way and such a broad range of topics. My son is happy to go to nursery. When I ask him what he will be doing there today, he always replies fun things. He has thoroughly enjoyed his time at Gilwell Hill Nursery.

Outstanding nursery, my little girl loves it and I really believe that this is the best setting for my baby to be educated and cared for. The nursery looks like a welcoming child friendly home, very cosy with book corner, building corder, home corner or messy playing corner. The staff and the management team are lovely, very helpful and always ready to give feedback or help with any questions or suggestions. I was a bit stressed in the beginning about my girl settling, but the staff in baby room made it very easy for her to accommodate and now she is very happy and impatient to arrive here every morning. The members of staff are very keen about getting to know each child personality and create bonds with them, always striving to understanding their emotions. My daughter has developed a lot since joining the nursery, her communication and social skills have also improved and she's become more confident. I cannot recommend enough this nursery!

They have a great setting, lots of activities and caring key workers. Management is engaged and listens to feedback. Great menu and approach to nutrition. My child is always happy to see them and I feel that he is being well taken care of.

We are delighted with Gilwell Hill Nursery. Our son (2 years old) is there and he loves it. He has close relationships with the staff who clearly very genuinely care for the children. Every week we look forward to the big update email with photos to see what he has been up to. He has been on trips to local parks, we’ve seen him feeding a horse, and he is always smiling and laughing in the pictures. The manager is also always there and always available. We relocated to the area from the midlands so we were worried about our son settling in a new nursery and a new area but the manager was really supportive and kept a close watch to make sure the transition was easy. We are really grateful for the nursery and everything it does. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a nursery with a family feel.

My older son graduated from this nursery last year, and my younger son is currently there and we love it. The staff has been like a family to our children and us. They love the food that is cooked in-house. My younger son who is currently there is thriving and loves the activities, is happy and well-settled there. We also like the new initiatives that the nursery has implemented - excellent nursery.

I was nervous about my 11-month-old starting nursery but she settled in pretty much straight away. I really love this nursery and often recommend it to others. The staff and management are lovely, genuinely caring people who I can see my little girl loves and feels comfortable with. She goes in every day with a smile on her face and I know so much of that is due to them. The nursery itself is spacious, very clean and offers a varied and fun environment to the children with a sweet little garden too. Their activities always vary as do their meals and I've been so pleased with my baby's progress since she started. I can't rate this nursery enough.
