Almond House wasn't the only nursery we considered, but after visiting all the available options, it quickly became clear that this was the best choice for our son. We really value the fact that the nursery has its own chef preparing nutritious meals every day, and that all the staff are fully
qualified, warm, and genuinely attentive to the children. Communication with parents is consistently excellent, and the nursery environment is clean, organised, and filled with a wide variety of stimulating activities throughout the week. We also love that the children spend plenty of time outdoors, which was a key priority for us. I work at the University and consulted colleagues who specialise in Early Years and regularly visit local nurseries. They spoke incredibly highly of Almond House and described it as demonstrating some of the strongest early-years practice they observe. I'm very glad we trusted their recommendation.

My daughter has been at Almond House for nearly 6 months, and the progress she's made in those 6 months is remarkable. The staff really give their all to the children and ensure they are well looked after and get a thorough, whilst still fun and age appropriate education. There is an on site chef
who sends out new menus weekly, and also engages in cooking with the children. Absolutely brilliant nursery, always clean & every member of staff is friendly. Would highly recommend.

We love Almond House. The staff are friendly, professional and our daughter is always happy to go. She settled quickly and has been building relationships with her friends. Overall she is having fun whilst learning and she's progressing into a happy little human! One thing we do love is that the
meals are a big variety and cooked fresh.
Our only feedback is to have more detailed updates on the app or more frequent updates on her progress, but understand time is a constraint - so not a biggy!

I honestly couldn't be happier with the nursery
The management and staff have been absolutely amazing with my child, and during some ongoing family difficulties they've shown such kindness, patience and understanding - it's meant the world to me. They always take the time to listen and support not
just my child, but my whole family too
Since starting, my child has come on leaps and bounds. Confidence has grown, learning and overall skills have improved massively, and even eating has got so much better
Thank you for everything you do - it's clear how much you all genuinely care about the children in your setting. I'm incredibly grateful!

I cant speak highly enough for Almond house! The love and care that goes into my child's days. You can really see they care about each individual child. My little boy has come on leaps and bounds. I often come to pick him up and see him getting lots of cuddle and songs. He never wants to go home.
Also he's. a foodie and seconds are alway offered! Thank you almond house

My son started on 1st Sept, absolutely amazing welcome day and settling in days beforehand, all staff are so welcoming and are amazing with the children. Always go above and beyond for everyone including parents with any questions they may have. My son hates leaving so I know he has enjoyed himself
and the food menu is amazing he loves his meals there. The app they have so you can see what your child's been upto and meals theyve had etc is amazing so informative.Can't thank you all enough xx

My daughter has been attending Almond House Nursery for almost one year now and the care and professionalism they have provided toward my daughter and myself is completely unmatched. The staff are amazing, go above and beyond to ensure my daughter feels comfortable at all times and that her needs
are met. The nursery is kept to an extremely high standard and I always feel comfortable at dropping my daughter off even when she's having a tricky morning and not wanting to leave my side. They have an in house chef whose food is always home made, nutritious and well-balanced.
Would always highly recommend this nursery to any parent/carer.

My daughters has been at Almond House for the last 10 months and really enjoys it. She is settled when there, clearly has a fab relationship with her key worker and is utterly obsessed with the food provided!

My daughter started here in January 2025 and I'm so happy I chose Almond House Nursery.. the whole team are amazing and they keep me updated throughout the day about what my little girl has been up to.
The food they provide for the little ones is brilliant and all homemade/healthy. I would highly
recommend this nursery to anyone..5 stars!! Thankyou x

Excellent nursery. The staff are amazing, my little girl loves going she's come on so much since starting. The food they serve always looks amazing with the chef always sharing his recipes !
They have the children outdoors most days, with even trips to the local park.
And everything is logged
with photos on the app every day !

Both of my children have attended this nursery and my you gets has spent time across all three rooms as he has moved up. Both have loved their time here and have created good bonds with the staff. All staff have been very helpful with specific medical needs also.

I cannot even begin to express just how amazing this nursery is. My son has been attending here since he was 15 months old and settled in really quickly. They take them out to the park, they feed them amazing and nutritious food and the staff are extremely lovely and nurturing to the children. I am
never worried when leaving my son as I know he is in very safe hands. My son is always happy to go and always has a really good time. He has made lots of friends and developed relationships with all the workers. I honestly want him to stay here forever and never go to school.

Amazing, kind and helpful staff! They always send pictures at the end of the day and I get daily updates on the app. My little boy has the best time here. His key worker is brilliant and he has really warmed to her. Would recommend to anyone:)

Amazing staff, very kind and caring and give the children the best possible start.
They do an amazing amount of activities and play the speed in which my daughter is learning and progressing is being helped immensely by the staff here

My daughter recently joined Almond House. The quality of care that has been provided along with the attention to detail to the progression of my daughter has been outstanding.
Kind and friendly staff are transparent with details of what my daughter has been up to during the day, her diet and fluid
intake and naps.
As a parent my mind has been put at ease with the regular updates and photos that are uploaded to the app and the attention to detail involved in changing activities throughout the day.
Additionally, through the app parents are provided with activity ideas heading into the weekend which is great for when you are stuck for something to do and provides a familiar topic for our little ones to discuss as a topic of conversation and interaction.
Could not recommend Almond House more!

My girl goes here (my eldest son used to). She loves the staff, activities and the food! The building is very homely. The staff are really friendly and caring and give regular updates. I’d really recommend it.

Almond House look after my son and do a great job. A variety of activities, friendly staff and an amazing variety of meals weekly help my little boy explore new tastes and foods. It’s helpful with work, seeing what he has been doing throughout the day and all the different activities he has taken
part in.

My 3 year old son has been going to Almond House Nursery for a year now, one day a week when I attend Uni. Yesterday, I picked him up, and he ran to me for a cuddle. As soon as I picked him up, I smelt poo. His Nappy was absolutely caked in faeces, to the point it was all up his back. I laid him
down to clean him straight away and again, he was red raw, crying and wriggling in pain as I wiped off the poo, to the point I had to ask the staff for a bowl of cool water to clean him. You can imagine the pain of a red raw bum/scrotum, and being wiped with baby wipes. He was screaming saying "mummy put some cream on" He was crying, I was crying!! Got him home, 'naked from the waist down, as he was too sore to re-dress'. I told the nursery to cancel the contract with immediate effect and my son will not be going back. It is such a shame because most of the staff are lovely, but just proves they have too many children in this 'care setting', to provide adequate care to the children.
