My daughter has been attending Kiddi Caru Hanham Hall since September 2024 when she was 9 months old.
The staff have always been very attentive in each of the rooms she had been in, Discoverers, Explorers and Creators - providing her with a cuddle when needed and always provide a thorough
handover.
My daughter has thoroughly enjoyed her time here and it has been worth commuting for her to attend.
The only downsides I would report would be there can be a delay for staff to answer the doors on drop off and collection, and the consumable charges are high in comparison to other local nurseries.
Overall, I would recommend this nursery to friends and family on the basis of the excellent care and support they have provided over the past 18 months.

Lovely staff members who take good care of the children. However I feel communication from the nursery for new starters could be better, I feel like I'm winging it and having to ask loads of questions as I go. They could do with introducing a new starters pack which explains; how to communicate if
start and pick up times are different, how drop offs and picks up work, where to go, what we need to pack for the child, what they will hang onto, how they will let us know if they need more stock from us. All of this I've confusingly learnt on my feet, with no upfront info.
The daily fee is also very high compared to other locals nurseries.
Finally whilst the building is spacious and clean, it doesn't feel very cosy or welcoming. All the rooms are white painted and would benefit from a splash of colour. The baby room toys seem quite basic aswell. I also think having babies playing and sleeping in the same area isn't the best, as the babies awake are often playing in a dimly lit room.

The staff are all really nice, my child is happy on pick up and seems well cared for.
My one request would be to have more updates on what my child does throughout the day and check ins throughout the year on their development. It would be great to have more insight in what they do together, my
child has recently started singing and dancing/signing so I know they must do that - but I'd never been told.
The Manager did start doing weekly updates but they have also dropped off.

The staff at Hanham Hall Kiddi Caru are the best thing about the nursery. They are kind, helpful, engaged and very caring. You really feel confident knowing your child will be looked after whilst they are at nursery.
PROS:
- Staff (as above)
- The building is lovely
- plenty of parking
- The
setting has been improved since last year
- No plastic toys
- Lots of outdoor time
- Large outdoor areas
- Toddler room has great activities
- Fun themed nursery based picnics for parents and carers
CONS:
- When you join the nursery nothing is made very clear about procedure
- Babies often have dirty faces
- When dropping off the kids, staff can sometimes not be forthcoming about taking babies and toddlers off your hands.
- The baby room is too simple for more active babies. Indoor wooden slides, wall-mounted activities and climbing apparatus in their rooms would improve things
- The gardens are large but looking a little tired
- I've not seen them doing any drawing or painting yet

Have sent both my daughters to Grandir Kiddi Caru Hanham Hall over the last 3.5 years and the younger has just graduated before starting school in September. Couldn't speak more highly of the nursery, the staff, the care the atmosphere. Always felt at ease leaving my children in the nursery's care
and its been great seeing their development. Really appreciate the experiences they have had there.

I love the ladies at Kiddi Caru Hanham Hall! The whole team have been so welcoming, accommodating, kind and really open to feedback. My Little one has made a real bond with his appointed carer. I think my little one has had a hard time settling in there, but he is just so energetic! I think the baby
room was just too boring for him. He's a lot happier now that the weather is getting better and he can spend all his time outside, and now he has moved up, I think he will be happier. It would be nice to see more active playthings in the setting like wooden climbing equipment that you see in other nurseries for kids like him who need that kind of play on rainy days. I would love for him to spend some time finger painting, is this offered in the older rooms? My partner mentioned the walls are a bit blank, but I like how chic and simple they are. I also love that there's no plastic tat and they read a lot.

The nursery is great - all the staff are really friendly and helpful. Our child really enjoys attending the nursery and is always happy to go. I couldn’t fault the nursery at all. Family resource packs have also been a great addition.

My son has attended since October 2023. He is always very happy to go in on a morning and smiling when I collect him. He has bonded with many members of staff. Other children also appear happy when I'm on-site.

My daughter has attended Hanham Hall Nursery for just over a year now and is very happy there. There are lots of activities to keep her wild personality happy and she has really bonded with all members of staff there. The team are incredibly supportive and helpful, and it's a real comfort to know as
a parent that she will be looked after and cared for there whilst not in my care. My son also attended the setting from 1 year old, all the way up through to pre-school and still talks about it now! It's also worth mentioning the garden which is an amazing outdoor space! There's so much room to play.

It has been a complex journey with my little one’s needs as a result, her placement in another nursery was terminated. I found Mama Bears from an internet search and had a bit of research done to decipher if it was the right environment for my little one to strive. Definitely, it is. From the first
visit, she was fully welcomed and slowly integrated into the day-to-day activities. Bearing in my mind her needs, she has really come a long way. She now has staff that understand her needs and activities are tailored to her needs. The staff listens and makes changes where necessary. I am really happy my little one is fully accepted irrespective of her needs and she loves it over at Mama Bears. That is what matters to me.

Our child has additional needs that are still emerging, and the way the manager and team have responded and supported so far has been great. They’ve offered support to both of us parents emotionally, and have encouraged our child to grow and learn at their own pace.
They have taken great interest
in what our doctors and health visitors have been doing with our family outside of the nursery setting.
I know they have had staffing issues recently which has meant we’ve had to find (very) last-minute child care which has been an inconvenience to us. But whilst our child is under their care they are very happy and this shows with the feedback and images we receive through the app.

Lovely setting. Great garden. Great communication from the team and they clearly have good bonds with the children.
I like the app as you can see how your child is eating but also how they are progressing as it puts the framework indicators there so you can monitor the development. Would highly

The team at Mama Bear's Day Nursery Hanham Hall are fantastic. My son thoroughly enjoys himself every time he goes.
They offer a wide range of activities for the children with monthly themes.
The Parent Zone app is really informative and easy to use. It’s great to see how he is getting on with
regards to his developmental markers and daily activities.
The team members are always very helpful on drop off and pick up and spend as much time as you need/want with them to discuss your child’s current needs.
I would highly recommend the nursery and the amazing team that work there.

First and foremost, I would like to thank each and every carer at Mama Bears for their dedication and commitment towards nurturing and caring for the children. My 4-year-old daughter attends the nursery at Hanham Hall and I have been extremely impressed with the level of care and attention that she
has received. The staff are incredibly friendly, approachable, and knowledgeable, and one thing that has really stood out to me is the personalised approach that Mama Bears takes towards each child. The staff take the time to get to know each child's likes, dislikes, and individual needs, and tailor their care accordingly. Overall, I cannot recommend Mama Bears Nursery at Hanham Hall highly enough. The care, attention, and dedication shown by the staff are truly exceptional, and I feel incredibly fortunate to have found such a wonderful place for my daughter to grow and learn. Thank you, Mama Bears!

My son has been attending the Mama Bears Hanham Hall setting since August 2020 and has thrived in the welcoming, supportive, and fun environment. His confidence, skills, curiosity and independence have all been encouraged by the setting and staff, regardless of what age he has been. The outside
activity space is second to none in the area and he absolutely loves the freedom he has to explore through play in the environment he enjoys most. As parents, we are given frequent updates about activities and achievements, and staff are always well informed about how he's got on during his day.

My daughter has had a lot of change in the last 18 months and she is struggling with this emotionally. Not only have the nursery monitored her, assisted her with coping mechanisms and supported further changes, but they have also supported me as it's been very emotional for us both. All the carers
and the manager have been amazing. We now have regular meetings to action plan how best to support her and it has even helped me and my ex-partner co-parent better.
Couldn't recommend it here enough.

We cannot praise Mama Bear's enough! Our little boy has been with them for around 7 months and since then, he’s come on leaps and bounds, he’s developing great social skills and his confidence is through the roof which is no doubt due to the nurturing, wonderful staff who look after him. He’s always
smiling as are we knowing how happy and cared for he is. The app keeps us updated throughout the day and we love seeing all the fun he has. Could not recommend more.

Mama Bear’s Hanham Hall is a lovely setting. The staff are all very welcoming and my son is getting on very well since starting. The staff update the app daily, as well as updating regular moments and any announcements.

We have been sending our child to this nursery for nearly a year now. And we have been absolutely thrilled with the care they give. The activities they do with the children are amazing, and the staff are so friendly. We particularly love how much time they spend outside in the garden, as this was
important to us. Would highly recommend Mama Bear's Day Nursery (Hanham Hall) to any other parents.
