Overall very positive experience with this nursery - the staff are so warm and invested in the babies. There is an amazing variety of activities even in the baby room. My son goes in with a smile every day!

My daughter joined Hackney Day Nursery three months ago. She settled very quickly with the support of the excellent staff in the baby room. The team are so friendly and kind we felt very welcomed. They are dedicated to the children's wellbeing, e.g. putting in place an additional care plan when my daughter had a particularly bad case of nappy rash.

Our daughter has been a part of this nursery for the past two years, and our family has a deep appreciation for it. The nursery's greatest strength is its exceptional staff. They are wonderfully hardworking, providing a remarkable amount of care and patience to every child. The facility is great as well, offering diverse, engaging areas that ensure the little ones are constantly stimulated and never bored. Furthermore, we've noticed a significant and very welcome improvement in management quality recently. Communication with parents is now clear and consistent, and the daily structure provides a strong framework for the children, integrating extensive learning and socialisation into their routines. Unfortunately, we will be moving out of the country at the end of the year and will miss this place very much. We would strongly recommend this nursery to any family in the area.

We absolutely love this nursery! The staff are so wonderful! Dottie is really well looked after here and she adores everyone. It has never been difficult to get her through the door! In fact she runs in most days! Dottie's favourite part of the week is the Spanish singing sessions on a Friday. They recently had a visit from a sports coach and a petting zoo. She often comes home with little baked treats which they make whilst wearing cute little chefs hats! Soooo cute! A lovely place which is full of love and care!

My daughter has been at the nursery for a year and a half now and she is very happy there. The staff (teachers and management) are all wonderful and clearly care a lot about the children, who adore them in return. There are lots of fun activities that encourage learning and the staff also tailor them to the child's interest. The new sports and cooking clubs are a hit and "Spanish day" is a firm favourite. The children all seem to get along with each other so well too and are delighted to see everyone each day. There are frequent updates about your child, upcoming events, etc. so you know how they're developing and what's happening.

My daughter settled in quickly to Little Garden Hackney. I felt assured she was happy and developing from week one until now 6 months later. She happily greets everyone when she goes in in the morning and comes back having learned new songs and dances. Thank you everyone!

Our son has been going to Hackney Day Nursery for almost a year, since he was six months old. He absolutely loves it there, when we drop him off we can see how much he loves the staff and he is always happy when we pick him up. We have found the staff to be thoughtful and kind. The environment is really friendly, our son is always taking part in fun learning activities during day, and his social, cognitive and physical development has been excellent. He loves playing there and going outside when the weather is nice. The kids play well together and other parents we have met all seem as happy as we are with the nursery. It really feels like a home away from home for our son. On a few occasions we have had to drop him off, unscheduled for the day (in an emergency) and the staff have been so accommodating and understanding. Finally a word about the manager, she is an absolute star going above and beyond always, we trust her absolutely. Overall, we couldn't be happier.

We are absolutely thrilled with the Nursery. Our daughter loves the place so much, and can't wait to get there each day. It feels like such a warm, communal, safe space and really creative. Every day there is a different experience and activity. We are often invited to special events as parents- and the children are so proud to invite us into their space. They eat together around a big table, and that is typical of the collegiate and loving community. All the children know each other and look out for each other this is a reflection of the staff and leadership. Our daughter is a kind, patient person and I know this is a testament to the team.

We joined the nursery and my daughter loves her time at the nursery. Her key person is very helpful and takes time to plan for her in the day. Most recently going on outings to the local park and enjoyed the parent events, the breakfast for mums was very thoughtful. My daughter even explored clay and made some clay pots for Mother’s Day which was very creative.

My son has been in this nursery for a year now and he’s absolutely delighted to get there every morning, even on tough mornings, the friendly staff always manages to calm him down - that’s priceless.

The team at Little Garden Hackney Nursery are lovely. They organise events for families to attend, which is very appreciated. It’s always nice for the children to show their parents around and for the parents to see a glimpse into the children’s time at nursery.

Despite some teething issues as a result of the nursery being bought by a group and the staff changeover issues, I couldn’t recommend the nursery more! The very competent Manager has done well to improve the level of staff and care since she joined. Both the Deputy Managers are also amazing. The nursery picks themes for the kids to follow each week and on any given day they must do at least 6 activities! My son is forever entertained! The staff know him so well and he often spends the weekends talking about seeing staff and his friends again. He absolutely loves it. They are particularly strong (vs other nurseries I’ve seen) at events with parents and staying connected and they are so thoughtful that if it’s your birthday your child will make a special card that day! We are so so pleased to have chosen this nursery.

My daughter has been here since she was seven months, she’s now twenty months and is always very happy to go in and see all of her carers and nursery friends. She’s very settled and the staff are always really flexible and helpful if I need anything.

We are now very happy with the nursery and the staff. When our daughter first started there the nursery was being acquired and there were some teething problems but the staff have worked incredibly hard over the past year to turn the nursery around. We are very happy now. The nursery manager and the deputy managers are great and so are all the other practitioners. Special shout-out to five staff members. Some of the practitioners there have been with the nursery for several years now which is always reassuring. Great facilities, small groups and lots of activities.

My son started here in November and he loves it. The team are so nice and my son loves the staff. They are approachable and willing to update you when needed. My son is a very picky eater, they always accommodate and make sure his needs are met. All of them have played a huge part in my son's development, and roll on 2023.

My son really enjoyed his time at Little Garden The Hackney Day Nursery. He was there for almost a year and enjoyed all the variety of daily activities. As a parent, I appreciate all the hard work of the staff and think they did a great job, especially on themes such as black history month.

Lovely nursery. The team is really nice and always goes above and beyond to do interesting activities. Our daughter loves being there and they make a real effort to create a nice environment for the children to learn.

My granddaughter attends Little Garden, she loves her preschool teachers. She loves all the diverse books in the nursery, and The I am Me element in the curriculum helps build her confidence. I also want to mention the nursery manager who is very flexible with bookings and goes the extra mile when they struggle with work deadlines.

As a grandmother, I am so grateful that my granddaughter loves her nursery. A big thank you to the nursery teachers who have been amazing with my granddaughter they have looked after her so well. My granddaughter is safe and well looked after. I would also like to give a very big thank you to the Manager as she is passionate about her work, kind and very friendly with the children and family members too.

Communication with parents is now clear and consistent, and the daily structure provides a strong framework for the children, integrating extensive learning and socialisation into their routines. Unfortunately, we will be moving out of the country at the end of the year and will miss this place very much. We would strongly recommend this nursery to any family in the area.

We absolutely love this nursery! The staff are so wonderful! Dottie is really well looked after here and she adores everyone. It has never been difficult to get her through the door! Our son has been going to Hackney Day Nursery for almost a year, since he was six months old. We are now very happy with the nursery and the staff. When our daughter first started there the nursery was being acquired and there were some teething problems but the staff have worked incredibly hard over the past year to turn the nursery around. We are very happy now. The nursery manager and the deputy managers are great and so are all the other practitioners. Special shout-out to five staff members. Some of the practitioners there have been with the nursery for several years now which is always reassuring. Great facilities, small groups and lots of activities.
