I have had both my kids here and the staff is amazing , the rooms are amazing , the cook is really good too(i have a fussy eater and he eats nearly everything every day he attends). Not any faults at all to point out. There couldnt be anyone bettet than the centre director to do the position she is doing . My first son that went here absoloutly loved everything about it and after a bad experience in another nursery with my second son , I finally can leave him at this nursery knowing he is happy as he literally runs in the room when we get to the door. So well done to all the staff for there hard work in this nursery.

I have not had much input to new mgmt since new director took over. I am delighted with the service at the nursery. I believe they could maybe update resources for activities, but that comes from funding. I also think the children could maybe be out more/more activities each day as some kids are not there every day of the week.

The staff have helped my little girl come along way in the last year or so with speech amongst other things. The staff are helpful and answer any questions I have and always been answered. Will be forever grateful.

Really great staff who are kind, caring, energetic and experienced. Lots of space, different activities offered. Child led and nurturing. It's great how attentive and supportive the nursery has been.

Overall experience with staff and nursery has been positive. My little one seems to enjoy it there and really likes the staff. Wide range of activities for the kids, would be nice to see more of this posted on the app wall. App updates for the children's daily activity could be more accurate as not always updated for each day. Just an end of the day update, not in real time as understand and would rather the staff were with the children. Good variety of food offered.

Amazing nursery ! Nursery Teachers are incredibly caring, patient, and dedicated to helping each child grow and thrive. The learning environment is full of fun, educational activities that keep the children engaged and excited to come in every day. My child has developed so much since starting here. The staff communicates regularly with parents and truly cares about the well-being of every child. I highly recommend this nursery to any parent looking for a place for their little one

I have two sons ages 5 and 19 months who currently attend Busy Bees in Gorebridge. I have always been happy with the level of care the nursery has provided for them. The staff are friendly and good at building good relationships with the children and parents which I think is beneficial. However since the nursery has been taken over at the beginning of 2025 I've noticed things have started to change. Previously I remember the children will get taken out to the local parks (I remember this happend a lot when my eldest son was 2 and up) I've questioned this recently to which I was advised that this has stopped due to the ratio teacher to children. I had previously asked would the garden school on Fridays ever get changed to a different day accommodate children who didn't attend then as I think outdoor learning is a fantastic opportunity however this has never happened. The menu that the chef provides is fantastic for the children offering a great variety.

My granddaughter hasn't been for some. Time an just starting back ,but she seems happy to go again an from what I have seen with me an my daughter dropping my granddaughter of an my husband there while picking my granddaughter up the place is well run an are very helpful

The staff here are so friendly and attentive with our little one. Our little girl looks forward to nursery and enjoys the range of activities on offer for her developing social and emotional awareness as well as her fine and gross motor skills!

Staff are all very friendly. Great experiences for each of the children. My only comment would it be nice to have more observations and updates. The app is great for seeing what the children have been up to.

We love Busy Bees Newbyres for our child and they love going! They climb out of our arms to get to their key worker in the morning. The staff always think of really fun ways to engage the kids with learning and development, sending updates for us to see. We have nothing bad to say about Busy Bees. The staff are always friendly and welcoming and we've never felt anything but happy with the care they give our child.

Couldn't be happier with this nursery. My daughter has came on so well from talking to learning other things. The staff are brilliant all lovely and easy to talk to and make taking my daughter into nursery so much easier for me. I cannot fault this nursery at all. I'm so happy I placed my daughter into this nursery.

My son has been attending this nursery for around a year and I couldn't be any happier with the care, attention and support he has received since day 1. The staff in this nursery are genuinely caring attentive and kind and have helped my son come on leaps and bounds since being here. The nursery is always clean and full of a range of different things for kids to engage in. Getting daily updates via the app about my son has made me feel so at ease it is amazing to see all the things they get up to. My son really enjoys it here and I would 100% recommend them to everyone

I moved Both my children to busy bees and what a difference I have noticed in Both kids I always drop them off feeling at ease that they are been looked after my boy and girl have both formed great bonds with all staff especially two members of staff, in particular.

Excellent care. Great bunch of ladies who work tirelessly with a smile on their face. Our little boy has been going to Nursery for a couple of months now and his transition was made as smooth as possible by the team. They should be really proud of themselves and I can't wait for our little boy to go through the years at Newbyres. Thanks for everything!

My baby started nursery in June 2025. The staff have been amazing at helping him settle in. The staff are always helpful and give full updates on the day he has had when at nursery. The staff are great at building relationships and they have such a friendly and caring manner.

The staff at Busy Bees are the heart of the nursery. They're filled with enthusiasm, knowledge and nothing is ever too much trouble. My child adores all of them and I feel they know her on a personal level.

Staff are excellent and so kind. Really know each child as an individual. My daughter absolutely loves nursery and we know she is having the best time when she is there. She has lots of learning and play opportunities provided to her and the staff have helped her develop her confidence ahead of starting school. Food is varied and my daughter loves it.

Overall positive experience with the nursery, children well looked after, opportunities for learning and development and good relationship between children and staff. Staff friendly and helpful and responsive. The menu and quality of food is a fave in our household! Forest school and bumble bee sports is also a big advantage. For feedback, I would like to see more activities within the community and more outdoor play. I also find on certain days there could be more updates on the days activities. An investment in the building and garden would be beneficial to encourage more outdoor play.

I am extremely pleased with the care and attention my son receives at his nursery. The staff are consistently helpful, supportive and dedicated to ensuring each child's well-being and development. Their professionalism and genuine care make a noticeable difference in my son's experience.
