A fantastic nursery currently looking after our third child there. The standards have always been high and always improving.
Our 2 year old is quite shy and very particular who she'll go to. Kids Planet Horsforth made her feel very comfortable and won her heart from the start.
Highly recommend.

Our child has really bonded with her keyworker and it is always reassuring when dropping her off as she is so happy and comfortable. She has also really developed with her speech and awareness of the world around her and I know her time at nursery has played a big part in this

We absolutely love Kids Planet Horsforth. From the very first viewing, we felt so welcomed and reassured, and now both of our children attend. The team are incredibly understanding and careful with dietary requirements, which gives us so much peace of mind. We've never had any issues, and the staff
are truly amazing with our babies. As a parent who finds it hard to trust others with my children, I can honestly say I feel completely safe leaving them in their care. We travel roughly an hour on busy traffic days to drop them off here as I haven't found a better nursery

Such welcoming caring staff.
My Son goes 2 days a week and took a while to settle in. Loves it but i still can't put him down and walk away, i have to hand him to someone for a cuddle. No matter what his practitioners are doing, someone will always come get him from me for a cuddle. Its lovely to
know he is being cared for as i go to work and not left to be upset.
All very lovely, and caring.
Always keep me informed if he's had a bump or even a tiny scratch.

Both my children love this nursery and have attended since they were 9 months. The staff are friendly and approachable always happy to help. They always get to play outside and are always doing different interactive activities.

Our daughter started in nursery in Jan and so far has settled in well - she's made friends, tried new activities and even started going down a slide. We have already started to see things that she has picked up on at nursery - which is really lovely to see. The staff who care for our daughter are
always friendly + chatty and complimentary.
We've had a few issues such as door access to getting in the building - staff haven't always communicated everything well and at times we have been left to stand outside for some time due to no staff presence on the phones or in management office.
Cleanliness is something I question as I once went to go to the toilet and the cleaner went in before me so I went after her.The cleaner had been to the toilet and left but the hand soap was empty - alluding to her not washing her hands. They also clean the flooring with strong smelling soap whilst babies are around and their items leaving them with the smell.
Extremely poor carpark lighting/lines

My daughter has been going to the nursery since she was 2 (since March 2025), and we're really happy with it. The staff are super friendly and caring, which makes the kids feel comfortable and happy. She's learned a lot and developed good behavior since she started. One of the best things is their
big outdoor playground where the kids can run around and have fun every day. It's a great place, and I'd definitely recommend it to other parents!

My youngest is currently at Kids Planet who is following my eldest who moved into primary school this year. The nursery is excellent. The boys have allergy needs that are met every day. What could create a lot of anxiety is simply dealt with professionally and we were allowed to have input into the
management plan as well. They boys both love nursery and have had a great time. My only caveat is that there feels to be quite quick staff turnover, which can feel a bit disruptive. It can be difficult to make a bond with lots of new faces, and it especially seems to have impacted my youngest. However, I think this is normal for a sector that has a high turnover and it's managed as best it can. I cannot fault the management team, who are cheerful, helpful and flexible. Thank you to all the staff (including the cleaners and Tomas the chef) for all they do to make this nursery a safe and happy place to be.

The nursery is outstanding. My little girl began in Easter 2025. She was transitioned well to the setting and regularl updates were give during the transition period. Every time I drop her off, the staff are so excited and happy to see her and she is delighted to be in their company. The room always
has new and exciting activities to engage the children and they are always outside playing, regardless of the weather. Staff always give a detailed hand over at the end of the day and speak so positively about our child. They inform you throughout the day of any trips or bumps and if ever there is a day where she is not settled we get a little message to say how she is getting on. We have regular updates on her progress with a termly report and a opportunity to have a parents evening to discuss progress and achievements. I never worry about our little girl when she's at nursery because I know she's gets the best care there. She is thrilled to see the nursery building every morning.

Outstanding nursery - highly recommended
This nursery is outstanding. We receive feedback at every pick-up and it is extremely well run. You can clearly see that the safety and wellbeing of all children is a top priority.
My child started when he was one year old and still attends. The SEN
team is exceptional - they are supportive, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring. They offer valuable advice and go above and beyond to support and improve my child's learning and understanding.
All staff interact amazingly with the children and you can see the excitement and happiness on the children's faces every day. There is so much effort and planning put into monthly activities, all carefully thought out to help children learn about the world and what's around them.
The food provided is always healthy and well balanced, whether it's meals or snacks. The nursery is consistently clean and well maintained.
The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and I would highly recommend to any parent.

I am extremely impressed with Kids Planet Horsforth and would highly recommend it to other parents in the area my son has been with them since he was in the babies room and has now moved up to preschool he absolutely loves going there every day
The hygiene and cleanliness standards are
exceptional every area of the nursery including playrooms toilets and outdoor spaces is consistently well maintained and spotlessly clean it is clear that the team prioritises creating a safe and hygienic environment for all the children which gives me great peace of mind as a parent
The staff are all very polite professional and genuinely caring they have been brilliant at supporting my son through every stage of his development from babies to preschool they take the time to build strong relationships with each child and my son often talks about how much he likes his key workers past and present communication is excellent and they are always happy to discuss my sons progress and answer any questions I

After previously having a bad experience with a different preschool, Kids Planet were really supportive helping our son to transition from only being looked after at home by us to now attending preschool two days a week.
He loves the staff and they are always lovely and helpful. They make little
adaptations to support him with things like his eating which he struggles with at preschool. It's very reassuring to know that they offer him alternatives so he doesn't go hungry and reward him when he tries new things.
They always have fun activities on offer - lots of messy and sensory things which our little boy loves. The outdoor area is wonderful too.

Our daughter has been attending this nursery since January 2025 and she absolutely loves it. She loves all the staff and looks forward to going twice a week. She also loves the large outside area too.

My Son have been in Kids Planets since he was 1yrs Old, the care and advice from carers have been amazing, I am so happy to see the development of my son and manners to great levels as readinesses to go to school. Thanks so much to the management and the whole team there for the las 3 years.

We cannot recommend Kids Planet at Horsforth enough. After having difficulties in another setting, we made the move to Kids Planet and from day one we haven't looked back. Thank you so much to all the team at Kids Planet, for all your hard work, positivity, dedication and help throughout!

Great nursery, very glad we picked this in the end for our son. The staff are all friendly and always helpful. Our son loves it here and would highly recommended to others if considering sending your child.

Since my little boy started here he has absolutely thrived. The staff couldn’t help anymore if they tried. They are all so friendly and informative and nothing is too much trouble! Huge thanks to two members of staff in particular who have made our time so far at Kids Planet a joy and put us at

Our son has a wonderful time at nursery and is supported and comforted by all the staff in his room throughout the day. He comes home from his day so happy and the staff give us such great feedback on his day. It is clear how much they observe the individual children as all types of feedback we are
given shows just how well they know him and his interests, likes, dislikes, preferences etc. We couldn't be happier with the nursery and the lovely workers he is with on a daily basis. I drop him off confident he will have a brilliant day and be looked after so well.

Proper good experience. I am very happy with every part of my and my daughter's experience here. I know she is safe and enriched both physically and mentally. I am often jealous of the meals they get! The staff are wonderful and clearly really care for the children and their roles. Getting updates
on the app is great. I'm dead pleased to have found this nursery.
