My daughter has had a wonderful experience at this nursery. The staff are kind, patient, and genuinely invested in the children's wellbeing. She has grown so much in confidence. The daily activities are engaging and thoughtfully planned and has made great developmental progress. I would highly
recommend this nursery.

Overall we've had a lovely experience so far at Ashbourne. Our son is always happy to go in and they do a lot to keep them busy and entertained with varied activities. All the carers know him well and there is a nice family feel to it. We often receive updates and photos of what they're up to during
the day which is great. Reading some of the past reviews I also feel like they have done a lot improvements.

The nursery was great but a lot of staff left, largely giving their reasons as poor management support. Ofsted recently reviewed and gave the nursery a 'required improvement' rating. Ofsted warned the nursery management that no improvements were made. The management aren't present and safe ratios
aren't maintained. Avoid Ashbourne. Such a shame that a previously great facility and staff have been let down by such an unreputable organisation.

A lovely team that supports our son. Ashbourne Day Nurseries at Princes Risborough team have had a few changing faces over the past year. Despite this, our son always comes home happy and speaks very positively about the staff at his nursery and recently, pre-school. Recently, the staff have worked
hard to listen and cater for our son’s medical needs which has made our little family feel valued and listened to.
Overall, the positive relationships our son has built with staff and children outweigh other areas, like the outdoor space and facilities which I would like to see further developed in future. The team are working hard to improve communication about our children’s learning and development which has been appreciated in recent months.
Thank you to the current team in place, we appreciate how hard you work to support our children. I hope the nursery and preschool continue to grow from strength to strength.

My daughter attends pre-school 4 days a week, having been in the toddler room before. As a Covid kid, she was very shy and it has been fantastic to see her confidence grow. This is down to the fantastic team across the two rooms who know the children very well and meet them where they’re at, helping
them to develop and learn. But most importantly, my daughter is happy and has so much fun. She talks about the staff and her friends often. They mix the older and younger children from time to time so that the transition from toddlers to pre-school isn’t a big deal. The kitchen is off the pre-school so the children are engaged in what they’re eating. The activities always sound fun and it’s not unusual to come into the garden to see something they’ve been busy making. The garden area is small but the children don’t seem to mind and they spend lots of time outdoors. I’m a huge Ashbourne fan and my younger daughter will join from their baby nursery branch (also amazing) next year.

A great nursery with excellent staff retention, it’s clear that the Ashbourne Group invest in their staff training and professional development.
The children have a secure environment in which to thrive psychologically, socially and mentally. The days are varied with free play and planned
activities.
The food is consistently good and meals cater with care to diets and preferences. The meals and details about the day including nappy changes are shared in an app to parents.
Overall, this team provide an excellent level of care and nurturing.

Amazing nursery. My child’s needs are always met and he comes home happy and full of stories! They accommodate his medical and dietary needs also, which is amazing. Would highly recommend this lovely nursery.

My son loves going to pre-school at Ashbourne and always comes back with good things to say. He will often talk about the staff members and his friends and I’m very grateful that he enjoys his time there.

The staff are absolutely fantastic and so so friendly. It’s like a home from home. My child loves being here and loves the staff.
The food is fantastic and my little boy generally seems to eat everything that’s out in front of him.

My twin daughters have attended Ashbourne Day Nursery at Princes Risborough since they were two years old, originally in Toddler Room and they moved to Pre-School in September 2022. Our experience of the setting has been fabulous.
Our girls are happy, confident and contented and this is in large
part to the care and experience they have had at Ashbourne. We do not have a large extended family for support and rely heavily on childcare providers and the team at Ashbourne have always been ready to help with advice on managing behaviour and helping to reinforce our way of parenting.
The girls always come out of nursery happy and full of stories, usually with some unique and imaginative artwork that the team at pre-school give time helping them create. As twins it is important to us that they are treated as individuals and this is definitely the case at Ashbourne.

My daughter moved over from baby nursery in February - which initially I was very nervous about! Sometimes it takes her a while to adjust to new things, but she settled very quickly thanks to the amazing staff! On the way home each day she tells me all about what she has been doing and what she’s
had to eat, which helps with the mum guilt! We are very happy with how things are going and would certainly recommend this nursery to anyone!

My son moved up to Ashbourne Day Nursery at Princes Risborough from the Baby Nursery in December 2021. He loved the baby nursery and we were sad to leave but his development since starting at the Day Nursery has been amazing. It's been lovely to watch him turn into such a confident little boy, in no
small part due to the team at the nursery. He adores all of the staff and it's clear they really care for the children too. When my child was really quite poorly for a week it meant so much to receive messages from his key person to see how he was. I really couldn't recommend this nursery highly enough, we have nothing but great things to say about them and especially his key person. Thank you to everyone in the team.

My little boy joined this nursery from the baby nursery. I was nervous about the transition but he took to it like a duck to water, the nursery made the transition so smooth, they were so welcoming. The team here are so lovely, caring, and professional, they really are the making of the nursery. I
always feel so confident with sending my little boy there, he goes in smiling and comes out smiling even more. I did have some development concerns and the manager has taken the time to ensure all bases are covered, and my little boys' progress since joining the nursery has been incredible. All the team are fantastic but I want a shout-out to his key person who is fantastic. Highly recommend this nursery.

Since my child has started at this nursery, He has grown in confidence. He communicates a lot better with his peers and the staff. The staff are highly accommodating to his needs. They have really helped my child to settle and have been great in his transition from potty to toilet and have been
great at helping him to separate from his Blanky in the mornings. We love how they have always promoted healthy food choices.

I couldn't wish for a better nursery for my daughter. When I drop her off in the morning, I leave knowing she is in a safe, stimulating, nurturing, and loving environment. In such a short space of time, I have seen a difference in my daughter's confidence and speech development, this is a credit to
the amazing, dedicated, and knowledgeable staff. My daughter has built such a strong bond with her key worker and talks fondly of all staff at home. The food my daughter is given is freshly prepared and they offer a varied menu. Learning opportunities the staff provide are outstanding and staff give unique and detailed feedback at the end of each day. My daughter is so happy, most days I can't get her to leave the nursery! I really can't recommend Ashbourne Day Nurseries at Princes Risborough enough. The management and staff all operate as one team and this shines through the quality of care. Thank you all so much for everything you do for my daughter.

My son has been going to Ashbourne nursery for 2 years now and the team have gone from strength to strength pulling together to keep everything going throughout many changes and all the lockdowns. I really appreciate how approachable the staff are. It makes a big difference to know you can contact
them about any queries. I'm delighted to see the nursery has recently received a COVID-19 Community Champions Award for all their hard work this past year.

From day one my grandson has been happy going to this nursery. When he went through a spell of getting upset the team in the nursery were fantastic, settling him and myself. Being a nanny seeing your grandchild cry is heart-wrenching but the team were great. They do fun activities inside and out,
taking every opportunity to get outside fresh air. During these unsettled times with COVID, they have followed all regulations filling us with full confidence. The menu selection is varied and excellent too. My grandson always comes out happy and the team are always happy and accommodating.

My granddaughter always goes into nursery happily and comes home calm and cheerful. Nursery has been able to give her more sessions in these difficult times and still manage her activities so she has plenty of variety. All the staff seem to be aware of the children as individuals and try to gear the
sessions around each child's learning needs. The security is very good, they are always aware of who is picking up and they're very careful about the handover.

The manager, a toddler room member of staff and the team at Ashbourne are beyond professional, always welcoming, organised and consistently go above and beyond to make sure our needs are met. Most importantly they provide excellent care for our daughter who always comes out of nursery with a smile
on her face. They’ve cared for our daughter since she was tiny (she’s nearly 3 now) and we couldn’t ask for more from a childcare provider. They make her feel special, loved and safe, consistently promote her learning and development and understand her individual needs as well as us, her parents. Thanks, team.
