Our child enjoys it which is the main thing. The staff are lovely and friendly, especially when our child first arrives and might be shy at start. She has settled very well and I trust the staff to take good care of her. Good range of meals which she enjoys. Staffing seems to have stabilised.

star less as app not updated as frequently as we'd like and we don't often get photos or individual reports on our child. I know they're very busy though.
Also I worry there may be issues with cleanliness. I know kids get ill a lot at nursery, but our friends are always shocked that we are all ill almost every week. It's too much. Please increase regular handwashing (antibac gel doesn't work against noro) and maybe open the windows regularly to allow in fresh air etc. Thank you!

Although my son generally enjoys his time at the nursery, I have had a number of concerns over the past few months.
There appears to be a lack of consistency, both in staffing and in the application of rules. On several occasions I have been told that certain actions or arrangements would be put
in place, but these are then forgotten unless I follow up repeatedly.
There have also been multiple instances where the nursery has opened later than the advertised 8am start, which has resulted in me being late for work.
More recently, my son has come home on several occasions saying that other children have hurt him, which is understandably worrying.
Overall, the experience does not feel as positive or well managed as it did when we first started a few years ago.

All the staff at coronation Road are expectional, they have fantastic communication skills. Offer lots of brilliant opportunities for the children. And very generally care about them. I feel very relaxed leaving my children there as I know they are cared for safely and sufficiently. I have never had
any concerns about the nursery.

We absolutely love this nursery. Every single member of staff is warm, friendly and welcoming, which makes such a difference as a parent. I mainly speak with Lily and Sam, and they are both so lovely - always happy to chat about my son's wellbeing, how his day has been, and any updates. Even at
pick-up time, when there are still lots of children to care for, they always make time to talk to me and answer any questions.
My son really enjoys coming here and gets to take part in a wide range of activities, as well as trying lots of different foods, which we really appreciate. It's clear he's happy, settled and well cared for. I would highly recommend this nursery.

Really love this nursery and so does my 18-month-old! The staff are so lovely and have really helped to settle my son in and reassure me if he was upset at drop off.
The app is great and I get updated with how much food he has eaten. The nursery has just been given a make over and looks great.
The
staff are really what makes a place and they are all welcoming and approachable, the manager is also really helpful and friendly.

The staff are all lovely and friendly. Our daughter has been there since she was 9 months old and has thrived in the environment provided by the nursery and always happy when dropped off/picked up. She has bonded really well with all of her carers at the nursery. Would happily recommend to any other
parents.

All three of my children have attended this nursery over the years and have always had such a positive experience! The staff here are very welcoming to children and carers and have great communication with carers.
When my youngest son first started here, his confidence and speech weren't too great
and now, he's developed great communication skills and his confidence has bloomed and has bonded well with staff and made many friends.

Amazing staff and they just had a refurbishment as well. My kid loves going to nursery and has bonded so well with the carers. They do plenty of arts and crafts and they go outdoors every time it is possible which is great.
The food is good and always a balanced meal. We are really happy with the
management.

Brilliant nursery, my daughter has been there for just over 2 years now and she absolutely loves going, the staff are all lovely and really go that extra mile every day, my daughter always says she has had such a good day at pick-up.

The staff are lovely, friendly and very welcoming. My son is happily settled and content which you could not ask for more from a nursery.
Both of my sons have and do attend Mama Bear's Day Nursery (Coronation Road-Downend) it is absolutely brilliant I could not recommend it enough. My son who no
longer attends the nursery started at 11 months old until he left to go to school he came on leaps and bounds, the nursery would take any concern seriously and deal with any problems correctly and professionally.
The only issue I have is they are having staffing issues at the moment but I do believe they are trying to sort this issue soon as possible.

We are so happy with Mama Bear's, Coronation Road. Our son started in October and the team were so amazing with helping him get settled now he is really coming into his own and has such a lovely time when there.
The communication from the staff throughout the day is amazing, the app is so useful
and the variation of meals he eats there is great.
Leaving your child for a full day with people you don't know was super daunting for me but now I know he's having a great time with lovely people and being well looked after.

I have had such a positive experience with this nursery. It has a warm, supportive and family feel to the environment and the care the staff offer. The communication is highly positive, they regularly update me on what my son is doing and eating, and how much. They show genuine care for my sons
development and have been supportive with advice to support what we can be doing at home. They have also been doing 1:1 sessions to support his speech development which I really appreciate. The activities I see them do are lovely and creative. I'm so happy with this nursery.

My daughter really enjoys her days at nursery and the staff have helped her to settle in beautifully. They've been really patient with her (she found it a little overwhelming to begin with) and I think that's really helped her to feel comfortable. I know she's well looked after and happy when she's
there and that's all you can ask for! X

Recommend Mama Bear's. Amazing staff taking care of my child whenever he gets upset in the mornings then enjoyed through the day. He has improved a lot of things since he was little, I am very impressed.

We have been very happy with the level of care and attention provided to our daughter since her start at nursery back in 2020. It was a challenging start for her but they have always been very supportive and taken the time to speak with me on the phone after drop-off and provide feedback and
reassurance where necessary. I sometimes felt a bit guilty for calling as no doubt they were busy, but time was always given to me whenever needed.
She has an excellent Keyworker, we couldn't have asked for anyone better and I always know she's in good hands with her. She is an absolute credit to the nursery and will no doubt have an excellent career there.

We as a family have trusted Mama Bear's, Coronation Road based on the staff's professionalism and caring attitude towards our 2 years old son. Our son has especially bonded with a few staff members but all staff members are very diligent and to be trusted with their abilities. The on-ground
well-being of son is a clear priority of the nursery staff and they offer a range of playing tools and nurture our son to be socially developed to be friends with other kids.
We have already spread the word out, about their care, services, and exceptional communication mechanism, and we will continue to do so.
I believe it is our son’s first formal institute where he is continuing to develop the skills he will bank on in future to become a better human.
5-star for a few staff members.

Amazing nursery, I highly recommend!
My Daughter has attended this nursery since she was 8 months old and will be leaving next month.
She has always enjoyed going to Mama Bears, loves the staff and feels safe and nurtured.
The food they provide is varied and healthy.
Staff are understanding,
caring and provide any support I have asked for.
We will miss Mama Bears nursery but want to thank them for looking after my Daughter so well!

My boys have had a fantastic time at this nursery, staff always friendly and smiling and very caring towards the children. Without the girls in this nursery we would have really struggled to get the help my son desperately needed, for that I can’t thank these girls enough! You truly are a wonderful
bunch and we will miss you all so much!

Both of my children attend Mama Bear's Day Nursery (Coronation Road-Downend), and they are both extremely happy there.
The setting is very inviting, and the staff are all friendly, caring and supportive to both the children and families.
My eldest has additional learning needs, and this has been
dealt with care and compassion from all staff and, in particular, his key worker, who he loves.
I would recommend this setting to anyone.
