A fantastic nursery with lots of attentive permanent staff who work hard to provide a nurturing environment. New natural colours and ceiling fairy lights make it a homely place for toddlers to play in. Outdoor space has just had investment, and the old stone building is well maintained and
constantly cleaned. Daily app updates about activities keeps us in touch. Had 2 kids through here and feel very happy leaving them there.

We are so happy with the care given to our child at Smiley Stars Mansewood. It is such a difficult decision deciding on a nursery and from day one we have felt that the care shown has gone above and beyond.
The activities that they do are varied and so well thought through. There is always a new
book and song of the month, plenty of time spent outside, trips to the library and park. I really do not know how they do it all!
They are very quick to keep us updated on any news, share lots of information and pictures from each day and are very attentive when updating any care plans.
All the staff are welcoming and friendly at drop off and pick-up. The nursery is clean and tidy, and there are always new things to play with or explore in the room.
The staff in our daughters room are exceptional. She has formed such a close bond with all of them. They all show genuine care and interest in her development and milestones.
I'm so happy about our choice and would recommend the nursery to anyone

My youngest daughter currently attends Smiley Stars Mansewood, joining shortly before her 1st birthday. My eldest daughter also attended from age 1-5, until last summer. Both of my children have thrived here, the room and management staff are all very friendly and approachable and I have always been
impressed with the regular communication received via the app. The daily menu options have introduced them both to new foods we might not have tried at home and the stimulating activities, both indoor and outdoor, have meant they are never bored! I feel very lucky to have found such a nurturing nursery and very grateful to all the excellent nursery staff members (past and present) who have supported us during major milestones e.g. potty training, starting nursery/school in our children's lives! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this nursery to others :)

We've had a wonderful experience with the Butterflies room, and I can't speak highly enough of the team and the care they provide.
My son is 2.5 years old, full of energy, always on the move, and also very affectionate - he loves cuddles. The staff understand him so well and support his personality
perfectly, balancing his need for exploration with reassurance and warmth.
What we especially appreciate is how thoughtfully the days are planned. The children are exposed to a wide range of experiences, including time in the garden, outdoor play, walks, and visits to local parks, alongside engaging nursery activities. This variety has had a noticeable positive impact on my son's confidence and curiosity.
There is also a well-structured routine that helps children feel secure while still encouraging independence and learning. Most importantly, my son is genuinely happy there, and it shows every day. We are very grateful to the Butterflies room staff for the fantastic work they do with him

Super nursery. Staff are amazing and always very friendly. My child loves going into nursery everyday and looks forward to seeing all the friendly faces. She has made great bonds over the years and I feel so at ease knowing my daughter is having lots of fun everyday.

We've had a wonderful experience with this nursery for our son, Noah. From day one, the staff have been incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely nurturing. It's clear how much care and thought goes into creating such a safe and loving environment. We especially appreciated the real-time updates,
which gave us so much reassurance during the day and made us feel truly connected to Noah's care. The team go above and beyond, and it shows in how happy and settled Noah has been. We couldn't be more grateful and would highly recommend this nursery to any parent looking for a caring and supportive place for their child.

Both of my daughters have attended smiley stars nursery in mansewood and I couldn't recommend it highly enough. The staff are caring and kind and my children have developed lovely relationships with key members of the team. The management team are helpful and very responsive and have a good
understanding of the complexities of family life. The environment is lovely with outdoor space that has been converted for use in any weather. The team also try to take the children out to local green spaces when they can.
The team have really helped to my eldest daughter adjust to having a younger sibling and have been a great source of stability for our family. They also did a great job preparing my eldest for school and supporting the transition.
Overall, smiley stars is a great nursery and I would highly recommend it.

My daughter attended Smiley Stars for a number of years.
I felt the care there was excellent and in clean environment. The food the children got was a varied menu.
There was a good outside space in the garden outside which was separated into different spaces for the different age groups.

Our daughter loves Smiley Stars Mansewood. I trust the staff and feel they genuinely care. The place has a family feel about it. I really like the daily updates and updates on her progress. She has been there since she was 11 months and moved across 3 rooms since then with settling-in periods. They
do a lot of activities and kids get to self-serve themselves as they get older helping their development.

Fantastic nursery, staff very welcoming and engaged with the children, all the children seem happy, our daughter is always excited to arrive (and eat breakfast!) and is happy/playing when we pick her up. Will cater to every child's individual needs and a huge help in our daughter's development.

We think this a fantastic nursery.
We have 2 children that go and they have both come on leaps and bounds. The staff are so good with both of them loving it and excited to go.
They do a range of activities inside and out and they learn about so many things. Would recommend!

Smiley Stars Nursery cared for both of my children. The staff were incredible in providing a safe, friendly environment where my boys could confidently develop and have fun.
My youngest child has additional sensory needs and the smiley stars staff went above and beyond to meet his needs and were
instrumental in setting up lines of communication between myself and the other support teams needed to facilitate further education.

Superb nursery, both my children have/do attend here. The staff are lovely and really care about the children. My child learns so much from the nursery she is constantly surprising us. Updates are provided during the day in the app which is great.

Smiley Stars Mansewood is such a brilliant nursery. Both my sons have attended. One has gone to school happy and confident and my 17-month-old gets excited every morning we put his coat on, as he knows he's going there. Management are excellent and staff very caring. They provide stimulating
activities and I like the regular updates and photos throughout the day.

My youngest has been with Smiley Stars for a year and a half and we’ve had an amazing experience. The staff are lovely and the turnover of staff is low which gives me confidence of continuity for my little boy. The staff make a real effort to make every day special and fun. My child’s development
has been so fast because he’s been learning every day.

I’m so pleased we chose Smiley Stars Mansewood for our daughter. Communication from the start has been top notch and the staff adopt a flexible approach to meet the needs of each child. It’s lovely to know we’re leaving our daughter each day with such a kind and caring team. She gets to explore a
wide range of activities and her confidence and speech are really coming on thanks to this.

Our little boy absolutely loves Smiley Stars, he has made lots of friends and the staff are great with him. They have a good structure for learning and activities and we are always kept updated when he has made a development in his learning and skills.
We love seeing what he has been up to each day
in photo updates. He is always coming home with new things he has learnt at nursery. The app they use keeps us well informed and is easy to use.
