View Full Details of House of Rompa Day NurseryAs new parents we have always felt confident in the House of Rompa's ability to take care of our son. He seems genuinely happy there, and has built a wonderful connection with all the staff. The nursery is well run, and communication is outstanding. We are always informed of any need to know information and we have detailed feedback at the end of each day. House of Rompa do a range of creative and educational activities with our son, and it's always so lovely to see him come home with his creations. We feel the staff know our son so well, which is evident in the written reports and verbal feedback we get. We could not be happier with them, and we would highly recommend them to any parent!
The house of Rompa has been absolutely amazing with my little boy, they've built his confidence so much and he speaks so highly of all the staff and knows them all by name. My little boy has a serious allergy and they're extremely inclusive of this ensuring he gets everything his friends do tailored to his dietary needs. I honestly can't thank them enough, to drop my little boy off knowing he's happy and safe is all I can ask for, I wish we'd brought him here sooner!
We moved our little boy to House of Rompa after his nursery was taken over by a large chain . My husband and I constantly chat about how our experiences with this nursery and his old nursery are like night and day. From day 1 House of Rompa has been fantastic . HOR is such a calm environment- due to their low staff turnover it's the same friendly faces greeting and sending your child home every day which was important to us. Amy is a genuinely fantastic manager. She is kind, caring and is always there to help. She really cares about what the parents think and encourages them to get involved - the children love her!! We love so much about HOR - that they brush their teeth after breakfast, that the food is home made, that the staff are actually invested to get to know our child.. the list goes on. Our little boy is genuinely excited to go to nursery every day and is bouncing with excitement when we pick him up at the end of the day.
Our little boy joined Rompa in June 2025 following a house move. With the move came a new nursery, and we were all apprehensive about it but Amy and her team made sure that our son settled in really well, listening to everything we suggested by way of his likes and dislikes. His happiness going into nursery every day is amazing to see and we can't believe how wonderfully his speech and language has come on since he went there - he won't stop talking now! We're so pleased we found House of Rompa and are so grateful to all the team who keep our boy happy and entertained all day!
We absolutely love this nursery! Amy is an amazing manager, and the staff are beyond friendly. My little girl has settled in so well and is really enjoying it. They have a great app and the children so lots of different activities each week and are fed so well. We absolutely love it and would highly recommend.
Our little boy started nursery at the House of Rompa in August 25. I have been blown away by the wonderful staff and the calm, clean and homely feel of the nursery. The baby room staff have been so supportive and made us all feel so welcome! Kim and Amy have taken the time to get to know our family and support our little boy as he settled into nursery life, tailoring things to his needs. I am so pleased we chose HOR for our little boy and would recommend this amazing team to anyone looking for a kind, nurturing and home-like early year setting for their child.
I can not speak highly enough of the professionalism, care and dedication at the House of Rompa nursery. Our two girls started in April and I think being away from your children to go to work is one of the hardest parts of being a parent. However, knowing the girls are excited to go to nursery and always beaming when we collect them means everything. House of Rompa is a small intimate nursery which provides a home from home environment. The girls are provided with two delicious home cooked meals a day and enjoy play that is tailored to their development. It is clear to us, the girls are thriving in the setting. The communication with Amy the manager and the rest of the team is excellent and our girls have formed great bonds with their key workers. We genuinely feel like our family has become part of the House of Rompa family and for that we extremely grateful. If I could give 10 stars I would.
My two children recently started at House of Rompa after their old nursery closed but we are so HAPPY with the level of care that Amy and all the other staff provide. They have made the transition really easy for both my kids and they love going here. The food is great and healthy- home cooked on site by Amy! Each week, the rooms have a theme and there are always exciting, fun activities related to this theme including sensory activities for the little ones. My preschooler even does Pilates and Spanish! All the staff know the children really well and have set them targets to help them learn and develop which are communicated to us. They post regular updates on the app and are always an email or chat away if you need anything. Drop off/ pick up times are really flexible too. We couldn't be happier with our children attending this setting!
I cannot speak highly enough of the manager and her team at House of Rompa. Both of my children have attended from being about a year old. They (and we) have just had a brilliant experience. The team are all incredibly hard working, welcoming and above all, kind. The range of activities on offer for the children is fantastic. My son particularly enjoys his Spanish and Pilates lessons, and the impact that activities such as these (and others) have had on his ability to listen, concentrate and participate is brilliant. I have no doubt that the Rompa team are setting him up well for school life. Communication has always been good. The new Tapestry system has been implemented seamlessly and gives a great 'live' update. The kids enjoy fabulous home cooked food, and I love that they are engaged in sometimes choosing and preparing what they eat. I could go on and on! Rompa is a really special place with an amazing team. We are so very lucky to have them!
In the time our Daughter has been attending House of Rompa Day Nursery, I have seen that their care for the young people is outstanding. Our Daughter's development has already improved, she is more interested in play at home and seems to explore more with her toys than previously, her speech and understanding of language have also drastically improved since attending nursery. Her allocated key worker provided exceptional care for her. It has been clear that she feels safe and secure in this relationship. Furthermore, we have been incredibly impressed with how all members of staff know our daughter already and us as her parents, this has been very reassuring that she is safeguarded well during her time at the nursery. There is fantastic home/nursery communication through an app which provides us with pictures, videos and details of what she has done during her time at the nursery. Furthermore, we are provided with feedback on each pickup.
Our 14 month old started at the House of Rompa in January and we could not wish for a better nursery. We are so pleased with how well he has settled and we are sure that is largely due the nurturing and warm staff/environment. It really has a home from home feel. It gives us so much joy to see him smiling when he arrives. We particularly value the communication between the staff and us parents, they take the time to inform us about how his day has been and his development. It is clear to us that all the staff (even those not directly working with him) enjoy getting to know him & genuinely care about his wellbeing and development. We also really value the home cooked food & the creative and engaging activities they do with him. The artwork he brings home each week really makes us smile!
As a mum of a toddler and twin girls (all attending House of Rompa), I couldn't be more thrilled with our choice of nursery. The nurturing environment, range of activities and personal support tailored to each individual child is testament to the hard work that goes into making everyday so enjoyable. Our son, who is now in preschool, has developed such a strong bond with the staff and his friends. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending House of Rompa to other families (we did in fact recommend it to our friends who now have a son in tots!), as it really does go above and beyond.
I have two children currently at house of Rompa. Our eldest has been there for the last three years and is now in the preschool class. We have always been so impressed with all aspects of the Nursery from the food that they give the children to the learning that they do and the all round care. All of the staff show a great interest in all the children and you can see they have a real passion to develop the children in all areas. Our eldest has developed so much over the 3 years during her time at the nursery and now that she is in preschool, we have seen a huge improvement in her writing, letters, numbers and other skills she'll need for school. There hasn't been a single day where she hasn't wanted to go to nursery - she loves it which is so good for us as parents. Our other daughter has just joined the nursery in January 2025 as a 9 month old and I have been really impressed with the communication and the care for her so far as she settles into her nursery life. A fantastic nursery
House of Rompa has made the transition from maternity leave to work so much easier. The staff have made my child so happy and she has developed so much since starting in September. The nursery provides her with so much professional love and support that she literally runs in there every morning. We are beyond grateful for this nursery and the staff that work here.
My daughter has thrived at the House of Rompa developing confidence, social skills, and a love for learning. My son has settled in well in both babies and tots and loves the staff. The staff are nurturing, attentive, and create a safe, stimulating environment. The nursery's commitment to early years development is evident in the engaging activities and strong focus on individual needs. I have complete trust in the care provided and highly recommend it to other parents. As an OT myself, I appreciate and am impressed, at the diversity of activities they offer the kids to help develop specific motor, communication and sensory skills through play and promote skills in independence and self-efficacy. The manager has impressed us with going above and beyond to reach out to us to provide specific feedback about my daughter's achievements which is greatly appreciated. The team make an effort to celebrate each child individually for example playing my daughter's favourite music for her birthday.
We have now been at House of Rompa for 6 years as all 3 of our children have had the privilege of being able to attend the nursery. We have always been absolutely bowled over by the kindness, attentiveness and dedication from all the staff put in on a daily basis. All 3 of our children have loved every day they have attended nursery and we have never had tears at drop off! A testament to the fantastic and always caring ladies who work there. There is always a new activity or experience that our children have come home telling us about, and the staff seem to perfectly balance a settled routine with new and exciting things for the kids to take part in. Over the years we have always recommended the nursery to others and we will continue to do so. Our 3rd child is due to finish nursery to start school this summer and there will be very bittersweet feelings for us as none of us feel ready to say goodbye. Thank you so much to all the staff at House of Rompa for their continued brilliance!
We feel so lucky that our children have attended the House of Rompa. Every member of staff works so hard to ensure the needs of each child are met. We love that because the nursery is so small, every member of staff knows the children really well and my children have always run in each morning, excited to start their day. The staff are all very supportive and have offered guidance and advice as we have navigated parenting young children. An incredible amount of time, effort and thought goes into all of the activities and my daughter loves showing her brother, the photos of her day. When he started school, my son's teacher commented on how impressed she was with the way nursery prepared him for school and he took transition in his stride with the encouragement of his nursery friends. I have always recommended the nursery to friends and know that they too have been very impressed with the care given.
Both of my boys have attended House of Rompa since they were 9 months old and I couldn't rate the care enough. My boys run into nursery every morning. The staff are amazing and I feel they truly know and understand and cater for my children's individual needs and interests. They provide creative learning experiences and I feel this has helped my children's development and social skills. The boys just love it here, they have lovely relationships with their key workers have made great friends and have lots of fun! I would definitely not hesitate to recommend the nursery to the other parents.

House of Rompa have always offered outstanding care and support for my three children. Things continue to improve with supporting children's literacy and numeracy. They actively encourage children's passions, for example they facilitated my son to 'read' (recite) a book to his younger sisters group. They even purchased him a book for nursery and lent it out to further foster his passion. The children happily engage and attend nursery, often coming home with lovely artefacts from their creative play.
