My son currently attends Sandfield Park Day Nursery and has had a great experience since day 1. He absolutely loves going to nursery and has a great bond with all the staff. You can clearly see the care and attentive given to all the children. Would highly recommend.

I cannot rate this nursery highly enough. It is such a welcoming, warm, happy place.. I have had three children here over the last three years and they have all skipped down the path each day! They loved it and to me, that's what matters! The children would wake up and shout nursery (and were
disappointed when it was a weekend)...
Fiona, the manger, is an outstanding human.. approachable, engaging, encouraging, involved.. all of the staff are like family.
I know the children were safe, educated, happy, nurtured and loved. Lots of the staff have been there a long time which I guess tells you how good the environment is. Marge, the chef, gets a big shout out for her home cooked dinners.
The staff encourage the children to be their best, have engaging themes and activities and include the children's interests and hobbies.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Sandfield Park. We love you guys x

We couldn't be happier, our son has attended since he was just 10 months old. He is now in his final year before starting school, we can truly see how much he has grown in confidence, independence and communication thanks to the care and support he has received.
From the very beginning, the staff
have been warm, nurturing and incredibly attentive. Leaving your baby for the first time is never easy, but the team made us feel completely reassured. They took the time to understand his routines, personality and interests, and that individual approach has remained consistent throughout his time there.
The nursery provides a safe, stimulating and caring environment with a wonderful balance of structured learning and play. We've seen huge progress in his social skills, emotional development and early learning, and he is more than ready for the transition to school.
Communication with parents is excellent, and we always feel informed and involved. We are so grateful and highly recommend!

Sandfield Park is a brilliant nursery and I couldn't be happier with the care they provide to my daughter. She has attended here since she was 10 months old and loves it. My daughter has learnt so much throughout her time here and her communication skills are excellent for her age.
The staff are
incredibly supportive, patient and passionate about the children's well being. They take the time to get to know each child individually, which really makes a difference to both the parents and the children.
They do lots of different activities with the children and they are constantly learning. I love receiving the regular updates and photos throughout the day to see what my daughter has been up to. The communication with my daughters key workers and staff in each rooms has always been brilliant and really informative.
I can't recommend this nursery enough!

Our Daughter (our first child) started in the baby room at Sandfield Park in October when she was 9MO and we could not recommend this nursery enough!
As first time parents who aren't originally from West Derby we were unsure about which nursery to choose and as soon as we viewed Sandfield Park, we
immediately knew that this was the right choice for our daughter. Fiona was so helpful in going though everything with us and explaining the process and funding etc. The staff are so lovely. All the staff know all the children and my daughter actually tries to jump out of my arms when the staff open the door in the morning. The nursery itself is really lovely and looked after. There is a nice garden for the children to play in and even a sensory room. We love the app that the nursery uses so we can see what our daughter has been up to throughout the day.

My son has been going too sandfield park for nearly a year now and I honestly could not fault it. R son has came on leaps and bounds since coming too this nursery and he absolutely loves the staff. Such a great team at sandfield park thanks for all you do.

My son has attended Sandfield nursery for just under a year and the progress is wonderful! He has formed close bonds with staff members (which is rare) he loves the days he's in nursery which makes me feel so confident it's the right one for him.
His speech has came on a lot since starting which
was a concern of mine every new word is a massive milestone for us, I look forward to the daily updates and pictures through the app it's great to see them enjoying the activities the staff have set out for the day!
I will be sending my daughter later on in the year and look forward to see how she progresses x

We have had 2 children in the nursery and think it's a lovely nursery setting. The staff are all incredible and so knowledgeable. They always have advice if you need it for potty training and weaning etc. There are always great stimulating activities planned and great free play areas within each
room too. The lunch menu always sounds good and healthy all made onsite by the nursery chef with dietary restrictions accommodated for. Both our children have been very happy at Sandfield, largely down to the staff and the care that they show to the children. They put so much time and effort into events for the children such as Christmas, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Easter and nursery graduation.

My daughter started in October 2025, she absolutely loves it and the staff.
The staff are all friendly and my daughter has bonded with them very quickly since she started and runs into nursery every day excited to see them. Would highly recommend the nursery.

Our daughter started Sandfield Park in the baby room when she was 12 months. The staff at Sandfield Park made a what was a huge transition for us so much easier. The care that our daughter receives is amazing. All of the staff are personable, friendly and caring. We were offered settle sessions
until we all felt comfortable, which meant we got to know the staff and facilities before I returned to work.
Our girl is now in the toddler room and loves nursery, she is happy and excited to go in. The staff keep you informed of progress and work through key stages of education using play and activities. She has lots of fun and has come on so much.
The app that Sandfield park use is great for keeping us updated about her care. We enjoy seeing the pictures of her activities and knowing what she's done that day
She loves the nutritious food provided and often finishes all meals and snacks.
We're extremely grateful to all the staff at Sandfield Park nursery. Thank you

Our child absolutely loves it here. She started in the baby room, through Tweenies and to toddlers and through each room change she (and us!) has been thoroughly supported. Each staff member really takes the time to get to know your child so no matter which room they go into it is a safe and
welcoming space for them. Since starting in this nursery she has really developed in leaps and bounds and I find that the staff go that extra measure to support your child in every milestone. It's such a relief to know that while I'm at work my child is being thoroughly taken care of and doing activities she loves and will develop her and is constantly safe. There is a nice balance between playing, arts and crafts and outdoor play and my child loves it here. Cannot recommend this nursery highly enough.

Our little started at Sandfield Park, almost 1 year ago and we could not be happier with our choice to send him here. We had been to view quite a few other nurseries but weren't 100% set on any until this one. As soon as we walked in and saw what was on offer we knew this was the best choice for
him. He started in the baby room and is now in babies 2. Both baby rooms offer lots of space, a warm and safe, homely feel and lots of engaging resources readily accessible. The activities he does each day are really engaging and age appropriate, lots of tuff trays, art activities, songs and circle time which we love. The outdoor space is lovely too and we know our little one loves being outside!! The staff go above and beyond to help him feel safe and happy and really take their time to help him settle when needed. Communication is also great and we know we can always speak to someone straight away when needed and love the frequent picture updates too!! We couldn't be happier on the whole!!

Our little girl has been at Sandfield since January 2024, and she absolutely loves it! It took her a little while to settle in, as she can be quite clingy, but the staff in her room were fantastic-so caring and patient. We especially appreciate how attentive they are; if she's having an off day, she
always gets the comfort she needs, whether it's a cuddle or some gentle reassurance.
The manager has made lots of positive changes since she started, all of which have really enhanced the nursery experience. They run wonderful activities that she genuinely enjoys! We're especially excited about the new Spanish lessons introduced at parents' requests and the upcoming forest school activities - these are such fantastic opportunities for the children. I also love that they have them outside whenever they can as I believe that is so beneficial for the young ones.
Overall, we couldn't be happier with Sandfield and the nurturing environment they provide.

Both my Daughters have attended Sandfield Park Day Nursery. My youngest is due to leave for reception soon. My Daughter loves her key workers. She is happy and settled. She enjoys her little adventures visiting the local Nursing Homes., trips to the supermarket to find ingredients for baking
activities, and Spanish lessons. She has grown in confidence and will miss her time at Sandfield. She will especially miss the lovely Homemade meals! I really can not thank the staff enough and would recommend to family & friends.

Sandfield Park Nursery has been brilliant for our family. We were initially quite anxious about the transition, but the staff handled it with patience and care and always kept us informed. It is a huge comfort knowing they are in a completely safe and happy environment; in fact, the children
literally cheer with pride/happiness when we pass the gates at the weekend! The team (in all rooms) really the know each child inside, making sure they feel completely supported and understood. They have also started Spanish lessons!!

We highly recommend this nursery to any parent who is looking for caring and professional childcare.
Our son started in baby room at age of 12Months and has progressed into the toddler/baby room 2 at around 18Months .The staff are very caring and always involved in the activities. The curriculum
is super impressive ,helping our baby learn new skills, new words that he chants them out at home ,singing and other sensory activities.So impressive to listen to!
Communication with key workers is excellent and regular updates especially on his feeding has always been paramount to us as he has been a picky eater and has really progressed a lot as staff has gone beyond to support our boy development and wellbeing and it has really made a huge difference in nursery and at home.
The nursery Manager has worked closely with us regarding our son feeding challenges and her collaborative approach and genuine care to each child's needs is what we loved .The nurturing environment is so phenomenal.

Our daughter joined the toddlers group in September 2025. From the start, the team at Sandfield Park nursery has been exceptional! Fiona, the nursery manager is so helpful and made the whole setting in procedure so easy for us. Our toddlers language has improved so much and she loves going to
nursery and play with her friends. Attending nursery has not only helped her development but also her confidence. Cannot recommend and thank the staff at Sandfield Park enough!

My little boy has been attending this nursery since he was 10 months old, and now, nearly two years old, the progress he's made is incredible. The staff have played such a huge part in his development - he's more confident, curious, and independent every single day.
What I love most is how much he
loves going. He runs in with a smile, and it's clear he feels safe, happy, and truly cared for. The team take the time to really understand him as an individual, and I'm always kept updated on what he's learning, exploring, and achieving.
From the friendships he's formed to the new skills he shows off at home, I can honestly say the nursery has been one of the best decisions we've made. I'm so grateful for the nurturing environment they create and the passion they show in everything they do.
I couldn't recommend them enough.

Absolutely would recommend this nursery, staff are really friendly and helpful. I had a hard start with my little one as she found it hard to be away from me but with the help of the staff she is loving it there now. Communication is absolutely amazing between staff and parents and the app is
amazing too where i can always check for updates and occasional pictures of my little one during the day. There are always a fun variety of activities they do with the children to keep them entertained and learn new things/improve their skills.

Sandfield Park Day Nursery has been everything we hoped for and more. From the baby room to the toddler room, the care our child has received has been exceptional. The staff are truly outstanding - kind, nurturing, and completely dedicated to the children's well-being and development.
In the baby
room, the team created such a calm, loving environment that helped our child settle in beautifully. As they've moved into the toddler room, we've continued to be impressed by the engaging activities, structured routines, and the way the staff support growing independence and curiosity.
Communication is another real strength of the nursery. We always feel informed, supported, and reassured - messages, updates, and photos are shared promptly and professionally, and any questions are answered quickly.
We're so grateful for the care, attention, and warmth shown by every member of the team. Sandfield Park has given our child the very best start - and we couldn't recommend it more.
