We joined Children 1st in Newark Town back in January 2023 with our eldest, and since then all three of our children have attended. We can't speak highly enough of Children 1st, every member of the team goes above and beyond, and our children have truly thrived in their care. What has stood out most
is how the nursery has continued to improve year after year. The staff, the activities, the communication, and the overall environment have all grown stronger. It's been reassuring to see each of our children supported (each with a different need), encouraged, and genuinely cared for. We feel confident every day that they're in a setting that keeps getting better and better. Thanks Children 1st

My daughter joined the nursery in 2023. The staff are amazing, have special relationships with each child and always happy to have a chat about their day. We have really enjoyed the themed stay and plays offered to us and have booked our second daughter to join at the end of the year. We really love
the size of the garden and variety of activities the children take part in.

Both of my daughters have attended this nursery, and I honestly couldn't speak more highly of it. Everyone I've spoken to has commented on how warm and welcoming the atmosphere feels. What really stands out to me is that the staff genuinely seem to enjoy their jobs and they care not only for the
children but also for each other, which creates such a positive environment.
The activities and engagement are excellent, and I truly feel that the staff take the time to know each child as an individual. Communication has always been clear and consistent, and I've never had any issues.
My children absolutely love the staff. They've been well supported in building friendships and have grown so much in confidence during their time there. I would always recommend this nursery to others.

My son started nursery september 25, I moved him here from another nursery and I can honestly say that was the best decision I ever made! All of the staff are welcoming and lovely! My little boy absolutely loves going to nursery, they do so much with him. I also love all their extra stuff they do
such as the stay and plays, I love how they involve us parents, which since I work full time, I really look forward to these!! Absolutely amazing Nursery, I would highly recommend!!

My daughter has attended this nursery for nearly a year now and she absolutely loves it. Upon entering the nursery, every member of staff greets me and my child with a smile and a hello, even if they don't directly work with my daughter. It is a really friendly environment. I feel like the people
who work with my daughter have taken the care to get to know her well and I can tell this by the feedback they give me after she's spent the day there. My daughter does lots of fun activities and I know that she is having a wonderful time there learning new skills and socialising. Thank you to the staff there for taking good care of my daughter.

The past 4 years I've had both my children one of which is SEN and they have been nothing short of incredible! I'm so grateful for everything they have done for my children, couldn't recommend it more!

Both my children attend Children 1st Nursey in Newark town centre. I cannot recommend this Nursey highly enough. Katie and the team are amazing, each member of the team has their very own strengths and abilities which supports development within the children. Both my children have thrived since
attending this Nursey and this down to Katie, Lisa, Chloe and the team working with us.
If you want your child to be the best version of themselves, this is the Nursey to send them to.

Children's 1st in Newark Town continues to provide a superb experience for my daughter, who has been there for over 3 years. The quality of staffing, effort to provide an endless variety of activities, and support to both parents and children, truly makes in the stand out nursery in the area. All
children are treated as individuals and their needs catered for no matter how much effort and time is required.

My children have loved attending this nursery, great building, facilities and feel like the staff genuinely care for my children. The outdoor space is especially amazing . My children have both developed so well there. Couldn't recommend enough :)

Our experience with the nursery has been positive from the start. The setting is welcoming and cosy, and our little one has thrived since going there.
The staff are lovely and communication has been a key part of the setting.

My daughter has been attending since she was 10 months old. She is now 16 months and I could not be happier with my decision to send her to this nursery.
I initally was really nervous to put her into a childcare environment but from her first session I felt very reassured and that she was being
really well looked after. This is evident in the way she happily goes into nursery and I really appreciate how staff members go above and beyond, welcoming her in warmly and knowing what her favourite toys are and making sure these are accessible to her. Communication is good and I am well informed about her day. I particularly love seeing all of her observations and photos of all of the fun activities that she has been involved in.
I would not hesitate in recommending this nursery.

So pleased with how my daughters speech has come on since been at nursery. She has also learnt to play with other children and would always come home telling me how much fun she's had. Her counting and singing has also improved since starting.

I highly recommend Children 1st @ Newark Town.
My son has been attending the nursery since 2021 (10 months old). Before selecting this nursery, I had done thorough research and visited a few in the area. This nursery won me over with its attitude towards learning (and Ofsted rating), the warmth and
professionalism of its teachers, the building and garden in the back, and its central location (in the heart of Newark).
My son has thrived here. He has a mild lisp, which was identified by his teachers early on and was referred to a Speech & Language Therapist. At the same time, his teachers have been working with him following the SALT's recommendations, and I can see great improvement.
We are always kept informed about his progress, either through the nursery app or verbal feedback from his teachers, who are happy to talk with us at the end of his session and answer any questions we might have or give guidance.
I'm a very happy parent and already registered my baby daughter.

My son has been since September 2024 and he really enjoys going and the staff are all really helpful and informative. All the staff let me know how my son has been each day and what he's done and ate for the day and how much he's ate or slept which I think is really usual for me to know.

My child has been attending Children 1st at Newark Town - I was so anxious to leave him at a nursery and felt so guilty, but he is truly having the most amazing time there.
The staff are very understanding of his personality and needs and I know he has developed significantly because of his time
there and with everything the staff do. The baby room staff are who he mainly comes across but they are all amazing and he is happy going to anyone there! The managers and everyone you speak to are always very friendly and the whole set up is very well managed.
The food has been amazing to progress his eating and the activities are varied, educational and relevant to his age. Whenever I drop him off I know there will be something new out for him to explore and it has made his world so much bigger.
A very happy parent and a super happy child. Highly recommend!!!

From day 1 my son has loved going to this nursery, and can not wait to get through the front door every morning. He's got a fantastic relationship with the staff, especially the two ladies in the baby room, and I can walk away knowing he's in a loving and fun environment. They get to know the
children's favourite foods and activities and tailor their day so they have the best time. The nursery itself is incredibly accommodating and I know any questions I have they're only a phone call away. I could not recommend this nursery enough, they go above and beyond every day.

Both of my children go to the nursery and we have had fantastic experiences through all the rooms from the baby room up to the Early Years. Staff are enthusiastic and make real efforts to know every child as an individual. There is a varied range of activities planned every day to engage the
children, with a real emphasis on developing relationships both with nursery staff and the other children at the nursery. Staff are well trained to support children to meet age-appropriate speech, language, and communication targets (through play!) and these are regularly communicated at home. They use their outdoor space regularly (normally multiple times a day), which was a big attraction for us as our boys love being outside. We couldn’t recommend it more.

My son continues to learn across a variety of learning areas. He enjoys coming to nursery and has made many friends. I consider the nursery a safe environment for my son and I receive good, honest feedback after each visit. There are plenty of themed days which provide variety and additional
learning opportunities. The nursery is always kept clean inside and out. Communications are good and some of the more difficult nursery-parent comms are very well articulated. The only areas for potential improvement are try and teach the kids that they don't get pudding if they don't eat any dinner (maybe this is taught, I’m not sure). It seems a little crowded lately, but there’s always additional staff looking after the children.

Absolutely brilliant nursery, staff and surroundings! My child goes two days a week and soon my daughter will be starting. Since my son has started he is thriving in his growing and learning. He loves going, never an issue dropping him off in a morning. The staff are so caring and accommodating and
I cannot recommend this nursery enough.
