View Full Details of St Joseph's Little ScholarsOur son went to St Joseph's from Jan 2023 to July 2025 and all I can say is he excelled! It is an amazing place where every child is couraged to be themselves and learning is adapted to suit your child's interests. He was always happy walking in and all the teachers were happy and welcoming. It is a hidden gem with it's set up, it's like a mini school so the children take part in assemblies, celebrate all religious events through the year and they include the parents in events to allow us to create a supportive community around school rather than just a drop off and pick up. He is so prepared for school we couldn't be happier and it's all down to the supportive environment St Joseph's creates and the amazing efforts by all teachers there!
The team at little scholars offer a fun, caring, and nurturing environment that our little girl has loved. St Joseph's is the best setting around and we wouldn't consider anywhere else for our 3 year old. We will be forever grateful to the staff there for their commitment in ensuring little ones thrive.
A really great little preschool with lovely, caring and experienced staff. My Son has loved going right from day 1 and has progressed and developed so much thanks to the brilliant staff at St Joseph's. Many of the teaching staff have been there for a long time and their love for the children and understanding of their needs is clear to see. I found that the setting is very inclusive and caters for all children no matter what their needs or interests. They offer breakfast and after school club which is mixed with older children from St Mary's and is a great environment for them all. The facilities are good, there is a lovely sensory room, play equipment in a separate area indoors and also outdoor space. The outdoor area for the classrooms is well equipped and they have made the most of the space, although could do with being slightly bigger. I will not hesitate in sending my youngest there when he turns 3 and will look forward to watching him thrive at St Joseph's. Thank you!
The nursery is such a happy and welcoming environment. It's almost a "home from home" but with just the right amount of structure and education required to prepare the children for starting school. I don't have a bad word to say about any of the staff or the setting and I will be sad to say goodbye when my daughter leaves this year to start primary school. I've already got my son's name registered for when he starts in just over one year.
We are so pleased we made the decision to move our son to Little Scholars. The preparation for starting school is excellent. All staff are kind, caring and loving. They ensure they understand each child and support them accordingly. The environment is nurturing and they are always encouraging my child to thrive. The whole nursery put in so much effort into extra activities like Christmas nativity, trips and sports days. Our son has grown in confidence since being at Little Scholars and loved attending everyday.
