My little boy had a wonderful few years at Lighthouse, joining at 15 months and leaving to go to school. The staff are professional yet always caring, organised and highly competent. My son was supported through big moments like potty training with care and compassion and always felt safe and nurtured. Lighthouse has a homely feel helping the children feel totally confident and happy in a safe and joyful setting. Healthy food, lovely activities to join in with and staff who really care.

My son attended The Lighthouse from November 2020 until August 2024, and now my daughter has just started in August 2025. We've had the best experience! The staff, facilities, activities, and delicious meals for the little ones are just brilliant. I've never once had to worry about my children's care or wellbeing. My son still talks so fondly about his time at The Lighthouse, and it's lovely to see my daughter already settling in and enjoying all the fun on offer. Thank you to the whole team - keep doing what you're doing !

The Lighthouse is outstanding. My eldest started in Cubs room at eleven months in 2021 (at the height of covid) and my youngest (now aged 3) is currently in the Pre School room. I can't fault this nursery, and I am fussy! As a working parent, there can often be guilt associated with leaving children in the care of others. However, I can honestly say that I have always felt that both children are being left in the best hands. The staff know each child well and genuinely care for them. The chef makes brilliant home cooked meals. Communication is impressive at all levels. I would recommend The Lighthouse without hesitation.

The lighthouse is a home from home for our little girl. The smaller room sizes means that all the staff gets to know the children and nurture their emerging character. The staff are dedicated, kind, knowledgeable, competent, and friendly. Our little girl has developed so much during her time there - the activities that the staff initiate are fun and educational. The outdoor space is excellent. Overall, the nursery feels like a family.

Our son has been attending Lighthouse for nearly a year, and I can genuinely say that the love, care, learning, and safeguarding provided by the staff is exceptional. The highest compliment I can offer is that our son, eagerly skips into nursery every day, as it truly feels like an extension of his family. The patience and affection shown to each child is incredibly reassuring the moment you step inside the building. We were recommended Lighthouse by several people, and we are so glad we secured our place early, as I firmly believe this is the best nursery in the area.

Our son has been at the Lighthouse for 3+ years and he loves it. When you're leaving your child (the most precious thing in the world to you!) somewhere, you need to feel completely confident that they are safe, cared for, supported, listened to and their personality is nurtured. From day 1 I've felt this way about the Lighthouse, it's a beautiful nursery with the most amazing staff and we're so grateful to everyone who makes it a warm and welcoming space.

We are delighted with the love and care provided at Lighthouse Nursery. The staff are friendly and communicate with us well. Our daughter enjoys her time there - full of activities and delicious food! Would highly recommend Lighthouse to other parents.

Both my 2 children have been/go to the Lighthouse. They have both loved it, and have always run straight in. The communication is good with daily handovers at the end of the day and slightly more in depth 3 monthly parent meeting. They also good at work collaboratively with you for any problems which may arise. We used cloth nappies and they were happy to use them. I would recommend them to others as we've had such a good experience and it continues.

My son has been at the nursery for 3 years now. All the staff have been great since day one. They are professional, supportive and they genuinely care for all the children. There are always plenty of activities as well as a variety. They enjoy the outdoor space come rain or shine which is great. My son's transition from room to room has been smooth with the support of all staff. I would recommend the Lighthouse nursery to any parent who wants to see their child thrive in a friendly and fun environment.

Our eldest daughter spent 3 years at The Lighthouse and our son is now in the Cubs room. We are so grateful to the team at The Lighthouse for creating such a caring, creative and supportive environment. Both our children love their time at the nursery and the staff are so supportive with any questions we have. The lady greets our youngest every morning with the biggest smile, the team in the Cubs room is so patient and playful with him and overall I just can't speak highly enough about the staff and the care throughout. The building itself is also lovely, with lots of natural light and a big garden for playtime.

We have been using The Lighthouse Nursery for our childcare provision since 2019 for both of our children. The nursery provides a loving and safe environment for children and you can tell that all the staff at the nursery genuinely enjoy working with children and have a real interest in their development. I know that when I drop my daughter off in the morning she is very happy to go in and I know she will have a fun full day of activities that she enjoys. The staff really get to know the children as individuals and it's really lovely to hear how they are getting at the end of the day. They are like a family to the children and most of the staff have seen my children grow and move up from the baby rooms all the way to pre-school. It's really the staff that make all the difference to their day and how comfortable the children feel. The folders of their pictures and development milestones are really helpful in seeing what they do day to day and lovely keepsake for us as parents.

My child has attended The Lighthouse Day Nursery since he turned 1. The team in cubs (youngest room) are fantastic. They were brilliant at helping the transition from home to nursery and were so caring and wonderful with my son. The food at The Lighthouse is great thanks to staff and I really value that the food comes from Sainsbury's and is prepared on site. All the staff are friendly and professional and have been a pleasure to communicate with for the last 3 years. I hope the family atmosphere continues under the new management.

We feel so lucky to be part of The Lighthouse Day Care Nursery family. All the staff are professional, caring, fun and diligent. We like the lighthouse because it is small and everyone knows each other. The chef is wonderful and the menu is varied and healthy. When we collect our son each evening. The staff take time to talk through his day, We feel like the lighthouse is a home from home. Our son is happy and well cared for which is all we could ask for.

The Lighthouse is a fantastic nursery that our daughter loves attending. The whole team take a great interest in every child and their personality even for the children they're not directly responsible for. The best thing about the nursery is the team. They work together really well and every individual is energetic, passionate and shows such love and care towards our daughter. The nursery is proactive in encouraging our daughter's learning and development. They keep detailed logs and pictures of her growing skills and create an environment that encourages her to try new things. This is complemented by regular open mornings where it's clear the team know our daughter inside out. The food is high quality, nutritious and made on-site, the nursery communicate well and are responsive, they have a great building and good outdoor area to play. We feared some of the magic would be lost with the change of ownership but we couldn't be happier with The Lighthouse.
