We love the Lake House nursery and cannot recommend it highly enough. The staff are exceptional - they know each child individually and genuinely care for them. They organise and run a variety of different activities throughout the week, with great energy, which provide learning opportunities and simply a chance to play. We have seen a huge increase in confidence in our son since he started, helped a lot by the secure, strong relationships he's developed with the staff. The chef is great and provides a variety of meals. Communication with the parents is very good. We are sending our second child there as a result of all of the above. The children get a lot of outdoor time and are taken out to the nearby woods when possible. More trips like this would be even better but we appreciate it's completely dependent on staff ratios & weather. Thank you all!

The staff at Lake House are absolutely outstanding. The love and care they show the children is above and beyond. My two children have loved attending, the atmosphere is engaging and creative, and they come home full of stories and laughter every day. I honestly can't praise the team highly enough, they are all superstars.

Fantastic nursery, very caring and very supportive of single parents. My son absolutely loves attending Lake House. He has a close bond with his carers and his curiosity and language skills are developing nicely.

We sent our first to Lake House and now our second child goes there. The staff are all great, so caring and formed great relationships with both my children. We feel confident sending them there that they are well looked after and we have regular updates on what they are doing everyday.

Excellent nursery. Our child is very happy there and we feel confident she is safe, cared for well and educated. Staff are great!Outside area could be tidied/freshened up and storage for travel buggy.

My son has attended this nursery for nearly 3 years and I can’t fault it. The nursery staff are brilliant as well as those behind the scenes. They often go the extra mile in supporting us and he has been extremely happy since starting at the nursery.

The staff are what makes Lake House such a special place! They are so enthusiastic and nurturing. I wanted a home-from-home for my daughter and that is what they deliver. She is so comfortable there and has established some really secure relationships. Transitions to date have been managed effectively, communication at all levels is excellent and safeguarding systems are strong. The provision for learning is clearly child-centred. The progress my daughter has made since joining the setting is phenomenal! The staff plan a range of exciting learning opportunities both inside and outside of the setting e.g. taking the children to see Christmas lights or visiting the local park. The only areas for development would be the outdoor facilities, particularly the front garden, which needs some TLC. Food is mostly very good and provides a balanced diet but we have noticed spells where it's less varied so it would be great if it maintains this variety. Overall I cannot recommend Lake House enough! Thank you all.

Amazing, caring and wonderful staff. There has never been a day when I haven’t felt that either of my children has been in safe and capable hands. Lake House is a very special place, and we’ll be sad when our time with it comes to an end.

We have had our daughter at Lake House since she was a year old and started back in 2021. She has absolutely thrived at this nursery, and all the staff have been amazing with her as she’s progressed through each of the rooms. She is always excited to go to nursery, and even on the days when she might be finding things a bit more tricky, the staff are always really great at helping her manage her emotions. I find all staff really care about the children, and this comes across throughout all interactions. What I like about the nursery is that even on rainy days, they get them outside, and they utilise the space they have really well. They are always thinking up great themes and weeks to celebrate, and I find it a diverse and nurturing environment to have my child grow up in. Thank you, Lake House!

We have had two children at the nursery, both from the baby room to going to school. The staff are amazing, and most have stayed the same that whole time. Excellent communication, activities and atmosphere. We love that they have a chef and prepare food on-site, and everyone sits down to eat together. Special mention to three particular members of staff for their unwavering enthusiasm and care. Our youngest will finish in a few months, and we will be very sad to leave Lakehouse!

We are so happy with Lake House Nursery. The staff are so caring and go out of their way to make sure our child is happy and safe. They also ensure that parents are part of their child de development and happiness and nursery by giving regular daily reviews and parents' evenings. We like that our child has regular outdoor and messy play and that they are taken out to local parks for picnics. I would highly recommend this nursery in all aspects of child care. Thank you all at Lake House!

Lake House is a fantastic nursery and our son has been very happy there. The staff are exceptionally caring, kind and enthusiastic. Our son settled in quickly after a thorough settling-in process and has enjoyed it ever since. The nursery is well-managed and everybody is friendly and supportive. I feel they have our son's best interests at heart at all times and he is thriving in their care. We would wholeheartedly recommend Lake House to other people.

Generally very happy with the nursery, the staff are all really lovely and approachable. The staff take really good care of the kids, my daughter happily goes to nursery. I feel really confident that my daughter is really well looked after, and that for me, is the most important. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that there has been some problems with the chef so meals haven't been as varied as they have been previously. I think some of the activities could also be a little more varied, particularly the crafts activities.

We have been sending our child to Lake House Nursery for four months. Our experience with the baby room team has been excellent. The settling-in process was very thorough and our child is really enjoying it there. We get a handover at the end of the day to say how our child has been and as well as written information about how much he has eaten, slept etc. They do lots of activities and my child is happily tired out at the end of the day. We would definitely recommend Lake House.

Lake House Nursery is like a second home for our children. The staff know them so well and provide personalised care and plenty of affection. There is a great emphasis placed on values, such as kindness, respect and understanding. The staff are inventive and continually keep the children engaged and interested. It is truly a wonderful setting in which young children thrive.

Our little boy always seems to have a good day at nursery. The staff are friendly and approachable. It is clear they care about the children. Communication is good and we love the regular updates - both in person and through photos and ideas. Would definitely recommend it.

Our little girl has been at Lake House for approx three months and loves it! The staff are all amazing, so caring, kind and diligent. We feel so pleased to have found Lake House and have confidence in all aspects of the care that they provide. Would highly recommend.

Since joining the nursery, my daughter has developed in so many ways. She is more confident and balanced and loves going to the nursery every morning. She looks forward to meeting her key person every morning. We love all the teachers who are warm, caring and very professional. I would definitely recommend this nursery to other parents.
