My child has been attending Orchidale for over two years now and we have been so happy with our experience. The staff are all lovely and clearly care so much about the children, taking the time to get to know their personalities and interests. My child is always talking about the nursery ladies! The nursery organises lots of exciting activities and visits; my child has had the opportunity to sit in a fire engine, touch reptiles, and visit a care home among many other things. They help the children to develop lots of skills, including woodwork, cooking and gardening, and encourage independence as they get older. I love that they can self serve their food at mealtimes in the preschool room! The meals are nutritious and the rotating menu gives variety. The fact that the children spend so much time outside and get to visit forest school was a big attraction for us too. We also get lots of updates on what our child has been up to. We have loved being part of Orchidale!

Our daughter has been attending Orchidale for over two years now, and we couldn't be happier with the care and experiences she receives. The confidence she has gained, along with the development of her skills and independence, has been wonderful to watch. From day one, the staff went above and beyond to make the transitions smooth and reassuring. The team at Orchidale are not only professional but also genuinely passionate about what they do. They create a caring, encouraging and supportive environment. The activities and opportunities are outstanding - there is always something new and enriching to enjoy. Both the indoor and outdoor spaces are beautifully designed, with stimulating areas for busy play and quieter corners for rest and reflection. We feel incredibly fortunate to have found such a nurturing place where our daughter is not only cared for, but truly thriving.

My son has been at Orchidale for 4 months now, attending 2 days per week. The reason we chose Orchidale was because we loved the idea of our son being encouraged to enjoy going outdoors, experiencing forest school, going on nursery trips, learning key skills, for example cooking. When we first visited the nursery we knew straight away this was the best place for him. He took a little while to settle in, but his key workers and other staff members have been great with helping to get him settled, now he gets very excited when we arrive and waves and smiles when we leave him. The updates on the app are great, we love seeing what he's getting up to and also love hearing about his day when we pick him up from the gate. We can really see that he is going to thrive here and very happy with our choice. All the members of staff are brilliant and couldn't think of anywhere else better to help with his learning journey! We can't thank you enough!

When looking for a nursery I wanted my son to be in an enriching environment where he would still learn but not be subject to a school setting from such a young age. Orchidale was easily the right choice. He has been here for nearly 2 years and his last day will definitely be a sad one! He plays outside almost all the time and has had so many amazing experiences, going on trips to farms, library, nature walks, their very own forest school and so much more. They also have people come in to deliver sessions such as yoga and karate, ponies and other animals, and even the ice cream van! His confidence has grown massively since attending Orchidale and he's made amazing friendships. The staff are amazing, so kind and caring and they feedback so many details about my son's day. He's a fussy eater but even this has improved with their gentle support. When we had an extremely sad personal family matter the staff were incredibly supportive and helped in any way they could. Amazing nursery!

The staff here are fantastic! My eldest has attended since she was 3 and my youngest since she was 2. I know Orchidale is giving them both the best possible start in preparation for school. The amount and variation of trips they take the girls on means they benefit from so many experiences. The areas the nursery use for the different age groups are wonderful outdoor/open spaces filled with so many different crafts, play equipment and even tools for the children to explore. The staff are caring and nurturing bringing great energy as soon as they see them at the gate. Even in the car park before they've even started work! We love the family events they put on throughout the year - Christmas and Spring fairs, orchfest and pumpkin competitions. We adore this nursery and will be sad when the girls time there comes to an end.

Our son has been at Orchidale for 5 months now and it's turned out to be the best choice of nursery we could have wished for. He gets involved in so many different activities - like touching snakes, alpacas, watching chicken eggs hatch, cooking, gardening and making all sorts of creations (despite starting just before his first birthday!). The staff genuinely care for him and the effort they put in to ensure the children have all these experiences is incredible, I can't fault them.

My daughter has been at Orchidale since she was 11months old. We chose Orchidale due to its enhanced offers (field trips, forest school, visitors to nursery, gardening club, cooking club etc), outdoor space & the warm vibe we got when viewing. My daughter has loved every one of her key workers & in fact all the staff. She loves her time at nursery & when she has experienced difficulties the staff have been very supportive & taken their time with her. Having two parents evenings a year, the app updates & on the gate updates allow you to feel a part of their nursery world. I can't believe my daughter will be heading off to school in September, but I can already see how nursery is helping her prepare for this. She's made some lovely friends during her time with Orchidale, some of whom, will be moving up to school with her. The staff at Orchidale are all superstars & I cannot thank them enough for taking such good care of my daughter over the last 4 years. She will miss them all greatly.

My son has been attending Orchidale for just over a year & he loves it. From the call to arrange a show round to him starting I knew we made the right choice. The staff are truly amazing & go above & beyond for the children in their care. The learning opportunities & experiences are second to none & I couldn't ask for a better Nursery. Our daughter has been going to Orchidale for just over a year now and we couldn't be more thrilled with the confidence she has gained and the development of her skills. The staff are all passionate and demonstrate what a caring, supportive and encouraging environment looks like. Leaving your most precious gift understandably feels uneasy, but from the very first day I can honestly say the call to reassure me on day one, regular updates inc. photos etc. demonstrate that nothing is too much. The range of activities and opportunities that are available are outstanding: forest school, on site pets, regular visits from animals/health services/entertainment, trips out in the minibus, and much more. Both the indoor and outdoor space is carefully designed to be age and skill appropriate for the stage in which the child is in, with areas that are busier and areas that are quieter for the children to recharge or spend some quiet time in. Orchidale is more like an extension of the family.

Orchidale is an amazing nursery. They are friendly, helpful and really make an effort to get to know you and your child. They do countless activities with the children throughout the day and have helped massively with the development of our daughter. She loves it so much she never wants to leave when we pick her up!

Our son joined this nursery from age 1 and graduated in August 2024, just before starting school. The staff here are golden, competent and genuinely caring. Our son was a very particular guy and they really helped steer and guide him on his social skills. We couldn't have asked for a better team. Don't get me started on the graduation show! The effort they all put in was second to none. We will certainly never forget our Orchidale journey.

I was very nervous about sending my daughter to nursery after maternity leave. Like many mums, I had anticipated tears and frustration, but I am delighted to be proven wrong because my daughter thrives at Orchidale. It is a relief to see how wonderfully she has bonded with her key worker, who did tremendous work to get her quickly settled. The genuine, caring manner with which all members of staff approach their role is evident, and I am always impressed with the creativity the staff demonstrate in the activities they put in place for the children. My daughter has grown in confidence and curiosity, and the regular updates during the day are a comfort that she is happy at nursery. The team at Orchidale successfully find the balance between building independence through free exploration and play, while also allowing for structured, age-appropriate learning opportunities. My daughter loves it and the staff are truly superb, I could not ask for more.

Both my children attend Orchidale. My eldest has been attending since she was 9 months old and she's nearly 3 and she absolutely loves going. She initially struggled at drop offs but the ladies helped with techniques to help her settle (and me! Knowing I could call, or even just calling me to reassure she'd settled within 2 minutes) and still we receive daily photos throughout the day to show them both making friends and enjoying so many wonderfully imaginative activities. Throughout her transitions through nursery, it's wonderful now to hear her stories about everything she's done in the day all with a smile on her face. My youngest has come on leaps and bounds since attending Orchidale and it's lovely to see his face light up when we turn up.

My two children attend Orchidale. My eldest daughter has been attending Orchidale for 3 years and loves her time at nursery. The nursery plans new and engaging activities on a daily basis but also follows children's own interests and planning in action. The forest school facilities are brilliant and trips are planned on a regular basis. My youngest daughter has recently joined at 6 months and the baby room has a home-from-home feel. Staff listen to parents and value feedback. There is a consistent key person approach and updates are added to the online portal daily. Thank you Orchidale!

Our son has been going to Orchidale for 2 years and loves going in every morning. The range of activities and learning experiences available to the children is fantastic. He spends most days outside playing in the garden or visiting forest school. His development is so supported and he's learning new things everyday. His key worker is the best, she genuinely cares about the children and I know that he is in such safe hands. I'd recommend Orchidale to anyone.

The nursery provides a brilliant range of indoor and outdoor activities. The staff create an environment where children can try new skills and encourage independence. They have supported my child to sleep, eat, and play independently, whilst being on hand to help if needed. The online platform is regularly updated and I feel comfortable to call or message if needed.

Orchidale Nursery has made myself and my daughter feel totally comfortable and at ease with our experience so far. My daughter loves attending nursery and her development has come along leaps and bounds. Staff are always so warm and welcoming, I am so pleased we found Orchidale Nursery. I couldn't wish for my daughter to be placed anywhere else! Thank you so much for everything you do for my little girl.

Our daughter has now been at Orchidale for over a year and we are continually impressed with the nursery. We did extensive research to find the best facility within our area and Orchidale always came out on top and highly recommended. They offer such a variety of activities with the children and keep us updated via the app. All the staff are very enthusiastic and polite. Freshly made meals on site are all part of the service! The staff are very accommodating of any needs on drop off and you have a full debrief on collection on the day's activities and food consumed. Keep up the good work girls!

I've now finished 2.5 years of Orchidale and my child is now leaving for School. She has absolutely loved her time at nursery, she loves the staff and all the brilliant activities. They have such a varied day, trips in the minibus, walks, visits from people, trips to the shop etc. She's always enjoyed the food, and her table manners are great. Which I am sure the nursery has helped with. She's confident and very independent. Again I am certain a lot of this is down to nursery and the team. The team are easy to contact and I feel they really know and understand my child. We will definitely miss Orchidale.

The whole team are an absolute credit to nurseries and early years education. My little boy doesn't stop talking about nursery, in the short time that he's been there his development has been nothing short of phenomenal and Orchidale play a huge part in this, I could not recommend anyone more. My child is excited for nursery every day even when he's not there and three staff members' names are constant names in my day-to-day life, he loves nursery but he loves the people who look after him and help him thrive even more. If you're looking for a nursery you can trust and that your child will love, this is the one.
