Our child started at this nursery at 1.5 years old, initially part-time, before moving to full-time care and pre-school. Throughout this transition, the nursery team were incredibly accommodating and flexible with schedule changes, which we truly appreciated.
The level of care has been excellent,
with a wide range of fun. We especially love the outings and visits to the local community, as well as the nursery's strong focus on keeping children close to nature. The little garden, chickens, and even worms are a wonderful way for children to learn hands-on about the natural world.
We were also very grateful for the support with potty training. Another great initiative are the "after-hours" family activities. These events give parents the chance to meet other families and to see how the children interact - which is absolutely lovely. A huge thank you to Kelly, Alicia, Emma, Glory, Asalee, Vincene, Neeve, Yyulia, Katie, Diane and the wole passionate team!

My son has been at Buttercup Barn now for 2 years. I couldn't praise the team there enough to anyone that will listen. They have created a whole second family for him and I am so grateful every day he is in safe, loving and fun hands.
You can tell from how he has learnt just how much time the team
spend helping them learn and grow.
Plus the extra time the team spend in helping all us parents - be that workshops, sharing information or just letting us bend their ears for advice.
My little girl will be joining this year and I am so excited for her to join the Buttercup family too!

Buttercup Barn is a wonderful village nursery and pre-school. We have a son currently at the pre school and our older daughter also attended there. Our youngest will start later this year. The team put on so many thoughtful activities for the children and provide a loving home from home environment.
The food is freshly made on site and the kids even get regular opportunities to help with cooking and baking. They make the most of their lovely rural setting by going on regular walks and using the allotment next to the nursery. We have been very happy with the setting for our children and would highly recommend it.

Buttercup Barn Nursery and Preschool is a truly lovely place. The staff are warm, caring, and genuinely invested in each child's happiness and development. The environment feels safe, welcoming, and well-structured, with plenty of fun, creative activities that help children learn and grow with
confidence. It's clear they put a lot of heart into what they do, and it really shows.

Buttercup Barn is such a wonderful nursery and the staff are kind, passionate and caring. It's a calm, welcoming environment and my daughter has grown so much in confidence since starting. We're so happy we chose this nursery. My daughter comes home happy and absolutely loves going into the setting
every morning.

Both my children have gone through Buttercup Barn from 9 months through to school (my youngest leaves in summer) and I cannot praise the nursery enough. All of the staff are lovely and treat the children with such care. Staff are friendly to parents and very communicative and are constantly coming
up with creative ways to involve the parents - from Mother and Father's day events, bedtime story events etc. Both my girls have really flourished at the Barn and I will be sad to leave in the summer!

We joined Buttercup Nursery after trying another nursery, and it's been the best decision. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and communication is excellent-both in person and via email with staff, manager Kelly, and deputy Alisha. The nursery runs parent workshops full of helpful advice and
organizes memorable events over the years. The teachers are fantastic-well-trained, caring, and much loved by our child. Even though it's a bit far from home, we wouldn't send our child anywhere else, and we're excited for our second to join too.
