My daughter has been with the old barn nursery since June and absolutely loves it there! The staff are amazing and shes made friends with other children.
Shes really come out of her shell and has become more confident! She enjoys all the activities, playing/reading books and singing songs. Overall
this nursery has been absolutely amazing!

My son loves going to nursery so much, there are fun and adventures daily. The staff are very friendly, attentive, and caring. I cannot recommend this nursery highly enough, it is an incredible nursery environment for child to grow.

We've had such a positive experience with the team at Old Barn since our Dexter started in January. The team have been incredibly supportive and patience with his transition into nursery and his new routine. His settling in sessions before starting were so well thought out and made me feel at ease
for when he started properly - making it a much smoother transition. I drop Dexter to nursery happy and don't worry about him knowing he's in safe, loving hands.

My 15month son has been with Chayse & her wonderful team since he was 11 months old & we truly couldn't be happier. They have been amazing with him, & it's been a joy to watch his confidence, skills & personality grow over the past few months. The team are attentive & always happy to accommodate our
preferences, from milk choices to following his usual sleep routine, which gives us great reassurance.
The room feels warm & welcoming at drop-off, especially seeing the babies enjoying breakfast together. We love receiving photo updates during the day, which give us a lovely glimpse into his activities & smiles. At pick-up, we're given thoughtful handovers so we always feel informed. He's often happily exploring the cosy sensory room at the top of the garden, which he clearly loves. A huge thank you to Chayse, Louise & Chloe for making his transition smooth, stress-free & so positive.

Our daughter started with the nursery in Nov 2025, she was 16 months old and we were extremely nervous about this change as she wasn't comfortable with adults outside of her direct family. Chayse, Amber, Laura and the team have been exceptional, our daughter started in the baby unit and settled in
really well, all of the staff members really took time to bond and understand her, this was so comforting for my wife and I. The way the team managed her sleep and food gave us so much confidence. Recently our daughter has moved into the pre toddler room and she is loving it, I can see how happy she is and how much of a great day she has had every time I pick her up. I have so much confidence in the entire staff. Laura, Amber, Chayse and Luisa are who I have had most interaction with and they have been amazing with us and our daughter.

My wife and I have been blown away by the quality of the car at the Old Barn. Our son is just coming to the end of his time in the baby room at the end of next month and we're really sad to be leaving the team, but also so excited for him to progress to the next stage. Every time I'm able to either
pick up, or drop off my son, I can feel the care that the team give to each child they have with them. They're quick to communicate, quick to praise and very good at providing gentle advise in a non-judgmental way should they think we could work on certain behavioural aspects at home. Coming to the old barn has been one of the best decisions we've ever made for our son.

We've had a wonderful experience at Old Barn, in the baby room and having now moved to to pre toddlers. The staff are lovely and caring, we stay informed of how things have gone throughout the day, and they've gone above and beyond to provide community days for parents (such as a Halloween
celebration) which really helps foster community. I think best of all is that the staff are consistent and there isn't high turnover like at some nurseries. You know exactly who is watching your child all day, and they really get to know your child on a deeper level. My only negative is that it is quite pricey in comparison to others in the area.

I cannot speak highly enough of The Old Barn Nursery. From the moment we arrive each morning, we are greeted with warmth, kindness, and genuine care - not just for the children, but for the whole family.
The staff consistently make the start of the day calm and reassuring, taking the time to
welcome my grandchild with smiles, encouragement, and familiar routines that clearly make them feel safe and happy. It brings me such peace of mind knowing they are being left in such caring and capable hands.
I have seen first-hand how attentive and nurturing the team are, and how well they truly know each child as an individual. My grandchild has grown in confidence, independence, and happiness, and it's clear how much he enjoys his time at nursery.
The Old Barn Nursery is a very special place with a wonderful team who go above and beyond every single day. As a grandmother, it is incredibly comforting to know my grandchild is so well cared for - we are truly grateful and highly recommend them.

I couldn't recommend Laura, Chayse and all their amazing team that look after the babies at the old barn.
My daughter has had the best care since joining in October and am constantly reassured by the team of her welfare. I regularly receive updates about what she's doing including photos and will
also get a heads up if they notice an illness up and coming (which has been frequent)!
Chayse often checks in on how I am personally going above and beyond measures of her duty's. The team also leaves out little breakfast to-go for the parents if they are in a rush, a gesture so sweet and considerate for those morning rushes.
Thank you staff for giving me such reassurance knowing my daughter is in the best hands.

The Old Barn Nursery has been absolutely exceptional for our family. From the very first visit, we felt a sense of warmth, care, and reassurance that immediately put us at ease.
As parents, leaving your child in someone else's care can be daunting, but the staff at The Old Barn go above and beyond
to make both children and parents feel supported and confident. The nurturing environment, genuine kindness, and dedication shown by the team is truly remarkable.
Our son has thrived during their time here - developing confidence, learning new skills, and absolutely loving every day at nursery. The staff take the time to really know each child, celebrate their individuality, and support their development in such a thoughtful and caring way.

We are so pleased with the nursery. Our daughter has formed amazing bonds with the staff who adore her. Their commitment to care is phenomenal and management is very dedicated. The facilities at the nursery are amazing, with a sensory room and plenty of outdoor activities. Would recommend them to

This nursery has been the most warm, welcoming and supportive place for both me and my daughter. My daughter joined in the baby room when she was 9 months old, as a new mother the fear of nursery and leaving your children with at the beginning strangers is a scary thought but the comfort I felt as
soon as I viewed this nursery was just incredible. My daughter absolutely loved the baby room and the staff did EVERYTHING to help with development and teaching her so many important skills. The staff especially Chayse helped me to build confidence with leaving her and I just couldn't praise this nursery enough. My daughter is now in the toddler room and still is loving every minute. Thankyou Old Barn for everything. As a family we are so grateful :)

My baby joined at the beginning of the year, she settled in well and enjoys attending nursery. We are kept upto date with her daily activites including food and nappy changes. There is always a different theme and the staff are happy, enthusiastic and caring. My daughter loves spendinf time at
nursery always happy to go in and loves hugs with the staff.

I feel very safe leaving my child at pre prep. They tap into his individual needs and interests to make him feel safe and happy. The girls always seem happy and pleased to see my kid. My daughter has been at the Old Barn and Pre-Prep since she was one year old. She absolutely adores each and every one of her key workers and all of the staff across both sites. The staff treat the children as their own family and the children absolutely adore them. My daughter comes back every week
telling me how much she adores nursery and her teachers, she is so happy here. The forest school is a highlight of her week, alongside all of the fun activities they do each day. Our daughter is very lucky to have received her early years education at this nursery and the staff here are just incredible. They know each child inside out and care for their needs incredibly. As a direct result the environment is so happy and positive and this is not easy to achieve, thank you so much to all of you wonderful staff.

The Old Barn pre prep school is absolutely wonderful, daily activities, outings, topical days, different tastes of food and teaching of different countries.
The girls that work there are kind considerate helpful and my grandson loves them like home from home and going four full days a week I'm so
happy that he's so happy at such a homely place.

My son has been going to the old barn for 2 years now and I cannot recommend them enough. The children have daily activities that are carefully planned out for them and are centred around their learning and development. They regularly take trips to the park, forest school or to see the animals which
is the highlight of my son's week. The love, care and kindness the teachers show is irreplaceable and makes going to work so much easier. My son has developed the most amazing relationships with the teachers and I feel at ease knowing that he is loved and cared for so well when he is there. Two staff members in particular go above and beyond for the children whilst making all learning activities fun and exciting. The deputy manager gave me endless amounts of time and advice when I had difficulties with my son's speech/stutter which in turn has helped him progress and he no longer suffers with a stutter. A huge thank you to the old barn for making single working mum a little less tough!

My daughter has been with The Old Barn since 6 months old and moved over to pre-prep last year. I can't express enough how amazing the girls working there are. They treat the children like family, they're kind, caring, patient and always doing new fun things to keep my daughter entertained. The
Forrest school is one of my daughter's favourite things to do in the week, and she never stops talking about all the new things she's learned and all the fun she's had. She loves all of the teachers there (she tells me this daily) and has even named some of her favourite dolls and teddy's after them. I would be lost without your support. Thank you for everything you do!

My son has been at the Old Barn from the day nursery up to the Pre Prep.
He has grown in confidence and I have seen him bloom from quite a shy character to one who is engaged and thriving with a solid group of friends. The environment is structured but in a safe and supportive way.
He always eats
the food and enjoys it and especially loves football and gymnastics (even showed me his yoga pose yesterday)
The preprep are currently getting the children ready for school, talking to them about a typical day, focusing on writing and familiarity with letters and numbers. He has always felt safe, secure and confident at the Old Barn and any issues I’ve had have always been addressed in a timely and professional manner. I will be very sad to see him leave in September and will look back with fond memories.

My son has been going here for almost a year now and has been very happy. I'm impressed with the daily updates from the staff and love looking at the pictures of the different activities they do. I would recommend this pre-prep to friends.
